When Ursa gets to Hagrid's first class back, she notices he has two unicorn foals. "Easier ter spot than the adults. Then turn silver at about two and grow horns around four. They're not pure white until they're grown about seven. Come on boys. You can pet em. They're less cautious as babies. Give em a few sugar lumps."

Ursa is gently petting one of the foals when she finds a bump. She moves the unicorn's hair to see it is a tick. "Lyra." Ursa says. Lyra flies down from the tree above to Ursa's shoulder. "Fetch the first aid kit or at least open the window." Lyra flies away and comes back a minute later without anything. Ursa turns to look at the hut and sees Pansy and Goyle in the way. "Pansy, Goyle, you might want to move for a moment unless you want to get hit." They look at her questioningly before moving. "Accio Creature First Aid Kit." It only takes a few seconds for the kit to come flying out of the window and to Ursa. Ursa opens it and finds the tweezers. "Keep feeding him sugar lumps. I would rather not have to immobilize him." Ursa carefully grabs the tick and pulls it off. She makes sure she got it all before healing the unicorn. She looks carefully at the tick and groans. "Ugh, Rare Magical Tick. Only one way to kill these." Ursa immobilizes the tick and tweezers. She stands and walks away from the group. She gets far enough away but doesn't notice Hermione following her. "Incendio." A flame shoots from Ursa's wand and clears a circle in the snow. Ursa puts the tick on the ground and releases the tweezers. She makes sure no one is looking before pointing her wand at the tick, Hermione hiding behind a tree when Ursa looks. Hermione looks back when Ursa stops looking. "Avada Kedavra." A green bolt shoots from her wand and hits the tick, behind her, Hermione whimpers in shock. Ursa spins around.

"You... you..." Hermione says in shock.

"Let me explain please. That was a Rare Magical Tick. They are difficult to kill even without the unicorn's blood. The Killing Curse is the only way to kill it. Even stepping on it wouldn't work. It would be like stepping on a pebble."

"You... you did that so casually."

"It was how my guardian and I would occasionally kill bugs in the States. That or a normal spell. It is good target practice."

"So that was the Killing Curse we saw you use on a spider after Moody's first class?"

"Shit you saw that?"

"We did. Also explains why you didn't flinch when he killed that spider in front of you."

"Yes."

"There you are Ursa." Hagrid says. "Everything okay? I saw the kit out."

"Just a Rare Magical Tick on one of the foals." Ursa says.

"D-did you kill it?"

"I did and Hermione saw so I explained it to her."

"I usually have Snape come do it."

"Not the first bug I've killed like that. And why does it not surprise me Severus does it?"

In the library, Ursa sits at a table "So you are the infamous Ursa Malfoy." A red-head says to Ursa. As him and an identical guy look over her shoulders.

"Yes, and judging by the hair and the fact you look alike," Ursa says as the walk around to the others side of the table. "You must be the infamous Weasley twins. The two who almost got blamed for my fireworks."

"That we are. I'm George and he's Fred." George says.

"Nice to meet you. Is there a reason you are interrupting my studying?"

"Rumor has it, you're good at pranks and enchantments." Fred says.

"More like good at terrorizing Draco than pranks but I am good at enchantments. What do you have in mind?"

"We haven't pranked Snape in a while." George says.

"Pranking Sev- Snape? I'm in. Now let's see what we can do."

"I like her already." Fred says.

"So when should we do it?" Ursa asks.

"If you place it right before you leave class you should be able to do it without getting caught." Fred says.

"We have a free period then so we'll be waiting for you." George says.

When the bell rings for the end of Potions class, Ursa takes the bomb out of her bag. She uses a Fire-Making Charm to light it. She puts the bomb in a cauldron and leaves. The twins are waiting outside for her. "Did you do it?" George asks.

"Any second now." Ursa says. The three peek through the partly open door. There is a boom and the room fills with smoke.

"What the?" Snape draws his wand and uses a Wind-Makjng Charm to clear the smoke. The twins and Ursa barely hold back their laughter as they see his robes are bright pink.

"We should probably run." Ursa whispers. The twins and Ursa take off in a run to the Great Hall. Snape steps into the hall and manages to see their hair as they turn the corner. They don't stop running until the reach the trio in the Great Hall. They break down in laughter the moment they stop. Draco walks over to investigate.

"What did you two do?" Ron asks with a sigh.

"It-it wasn't our idea." George manages to say between laughter.

"B-but it was bloody brilliant." Fred says between laughs. All three of the them pull themselves together and the twins pat Ursa's shoulders. "This girl is a bloody genius."

"What did you do Ursa?" Draco asks.

Snape storms into the Great Hall, his robes now bright red. Ursa points at Snape. "That!" Ursa and the twins start laughing again. The rest of the Great Hall is holding back their laughter so they don't get in trouble.

Snape storms up to the twins and Ursa, his robes turning rainbow. Ursa is laughing so hard she's just wheezing. "I assume you two had something to do with this. And also Miss Malfoy." Ursa takes a deep breath and pulls herself together. "Whose idea was this?"

"Who chose to prank you or the prank itself?" Ursa asks.

"Both." Snape replies.

"We chose to prank you." Fred says.

"The plan was mainly my idea." Ursa says as she draws her wand. She flicks it at Snape and his robes turn back to black.

"Let me guess." Snape says. "You two did the explosives and Miss Malfoy did the enchantments."

"You know me so well Professor." Ursa says.

"Sadly."

"You know you love me."

"Again, sadly. Detention for all three of you as well as 40 points from Gryffindor and 20 points from Slytherin."

"Why do we get 40?" Harry asks. "That's not fair."

"Yes it is." Ursa says. "Twenty points each."

"And no experimenting for a week Miss Malfoy." Snape says.

"Awww. Fair enough." Ursa says. Snape turns dramatically and walks away.

"Experimenting?" Harry asks.

"He lets me use the potions lab to experiment with potions." Ursa says. "That's why my potions are always so good."

"Oh Severus!" Ursa sings as she walks into detention.

"Great. You're in a good mood." Snape says sarcastically. "Irritate me with your happiness and I'll tell your parents what happened."

"You wouldn't dare."

"Want to test that theory?"

"Sure. Cause if they kick me out, you're the one who has to take care of me, Godfather." Snape rolls his eyes. "Love you too."

"Sit down."

Ursa turns and sees George and Fred looking at her confused. "Hello boys."

"Godfather?" Fred asks.

"Severus?" George asks.

"Be quiet you three." Snape says as he walks over. "You two, sort these frog legs. Miss Malfoy, do your homework."

"Aww come on!" Fred exclaims. "She doesn't have to do something gross?"

"Shut up before you get yourselves in more trouble." Ursa says.

"Ron wasn't kidding when he said Snape favors you." George says.

"He was not. Now shut up."

"Miss Malfoy sit over here." Snape says. "Don't make me separate you two."

Ursa walks over to the front table and sits. "I don't have homework Severus."

"If you think I don't have your teachers tell me when they assign homework you are mistaken. You have Transfiguration and Divinations homework."

"Damn. My mother told you to watch over me didn't she?"

"No. Both of your parents did." Ursa groans and puts her head in her arms. "Get to work."

Ursa shivers as the Malfoys stand in the stands. "Why does the task have to be outside when it is so damn cold?" Ursa asks no one in particular.

"Come here." Narcissa says as she holds out an arm. Ursa stands next to her and Narcissa wraps the blanket she's using and her arm around Ursa shoulders. "And do not curse."

"Thank you." Ursa says as she nestles against Narcissa. Lyra lands on the railing in front if them. "Are you ever going to leave me alone when I am outside? Go back to the Owlery, Lyra. I will come see you later." Lyra bites towards Ursa and flies off.

"Does she always come to you when you are outside?" Narcissa asks.

"Most of the time, but she will go away if I tell her to."

"You think you are cold? Look at Potter." Draco says. Ursa looks down at the champions and chuckles as Draco laughs.

"They must be freezing down there."

"Have you spoken to any of the champions?" Narcissa asks.

"Not really. Krum sits next to me at meals but does not talk much and I only talk to Potter when he tries insulting us."

"And Diggory asking you out." Draco says and Ursa glares at him.

"Draco!"

"He asked you out?" Lucius asks.

"Well to meet him in Hogsmeade." Ursa replies.

"And what did you say?"

"I told him that I am 15 and uninterested."

"Hm. He is one of the few boys it would be acceptable for you to date. Not Sacred Twenty-Eight but he is pureblood."

"Now Lucius, she is 15." Narcissa says. "She should be focusing on her studies for the O.W.L.s next year not boys."

Lucius is about to reply when Bagman starts announcing. "Thank God." Ursa mumbles and Narcissa chuckles.

"I hated those conversations too." Narcissa whispers and Ursa smiles.
