It's been two days since avni had booked a solo ticket to Maldives. Avni was happy that she took a decision of taking break from the chaos which Neil put it on her. Avni in these two days was in deep thoughts thinking about how she'd convince her parents. Definitely, they'd never allow her to go alone so avni came up with a plan. She thought to lie to her parents via her friend ria who's going on a vacation with her long time friends. A part of her brain told her to not to lie, but after searching Maldives in google avni was flabbergasted. She was excited and thrilled when she realized there's alot of fun there and she'd miss all that if she loose this opportunity.

Right now avni and ria were in Avni's garden arguing about the same thing .Ria never wanted to lie to Avni's parents but Avni's stubbornness is something no one should mess with Which ria knows.

Ria - Avni please avni, I can't avni. Leave me avni. I'm scared please, my cutie, my sweetie leave your best friend out of this. Please!

Ria pleaded avni who apparently dragged ria inside of her house.

Avni - Ria are you my friend or not? (asks sternly) 

Ria - of course, I'm you're friend, but it doesn't mean I should lie to your parents that you are going on vacation with me ,instead you are leaving alone to Maldives. (Rolls eyes)

Avni - Ria, shut up. It's not that you are going on a war. what I'm saying is just lie. See, you are actually going on a trip with your friends just tell them I'm going with you that's it . Simple.  (Shrugs).

Ria - Avni, are you serious? What if something happens with you ? Then who would be responsible? For God sake You are going alone. ( frowns)

Avni sighs.

Avni - Ria, I want space yar, I want break from everything. That Neil has ruined my life and I want peace for sometime so that I can become mentally stable. Staying with my parents, they will definitely try to convince me to marry Neil which would never happen in this life.

Ria - I don't know why you hate Neil so much. He is such a sweetheart yar. ( says dreamily) 

Avni glares at ria.

Avni -  Sweetheart like hell, he is bitter heart. ( Rolls eyes)  If you love him so much then why don't you marry him ria ? Nice idea right?  I'd be safe. ( chirps) 

Ria slaps Avni's arm playfully.

Ria - Oh, avni.  I wish, I'd marry Neil but you see unfortunately I've a boyfriend Ali and he is best friend of Neil. So not possible babe. (sadly)

Avni rolls her eyes.

Avni - Okay leave all it, come inside of my house and tell my parents about the fake vacation I've been going with you.

Ria - but av--

But avni interrupts her.

Avni - Not a word come. ( seriously)

Ria sighed through nose.

Ria - Okay.

With that avni dragged her in. After few minutes avni and ria were in front of her parents standing like an obedient children.

Asish - Tell me avni what you want to talk about ?  ( asks looking at avni and then ria ).

Avni - Dad, actually.. Ria will tell you. Haina ria ?

Ria - I will kill you.

Ria mouthed smiling tightly.

Ria - Yes uncle. Actually.( Fiddles with fingers)

Asish - Tell me beta.

Ria - Actually uncle ,I and my friends are going on a trip so we thought to take avni with us. You see, holidays and at home avni will get bored right?  Before taking her we want to take permission of yours because, avni told me that without your consent she won't come on trip .

Ashish looked at Neela and then avni who made a puppy face. Avni walked to her dad and made a sad face.

Avni - Dad, I want to go with them. I feel alone and bored in house. ( sadly) 

Neela - We will plan a family vacation avni.

Neela pipes in.

Avni - but mom how ? Everytime you say this but actually never happened. ( grits her teeth)

Neela - Avni..

Asish - How many days trip and where are you going?

Avni's face lit up bright.

Avni - Dad, ten days trip and Actually we thought to visit south Indian places like Araku valley in vizag, ooty, kanyakumari and much more.  ( Excitedly )

Ashish smiled.

Neela - 10 days ? ( Shocked) 

Avni looked at her mom who's face saddened.

Avni sighed went to her.

Avni - Mom please, just 10 days then I'd be back again. why are you making that face?  ( asks frowning)

Neela didn't talk anything. She was already upset with the marriage thing and now Avni's ten day trip made her mood worse. Neela glanced at her husband and left from there without a word leaving avni shocked.

Avni - Dad, if Mom dont like me going then it's okay. I won't go. ( whispers looking down ) 

Ria looked avni sadly. Maybe Avni's love for parents is indefinable , she did whatever they told her and we can say she is the ideal daughter a parent would want. Ria was still in wounder how avni didn't listen to her parents in the issue of marriage. She fought with her parents regarding Neil .Maybe be she really never liked Neil. ria thought.

Asish - Avni don't get sad Your mom is just upset don't worry I will talk to her. You can enjoy your holidays and I'm allowing to go with them. ( smiles) 

Avni - really?  ( asks with bright face)

Ashish - yes,  now give daddy a hug.

Avni smiled with tears and hugged her dad. But deep inside she felt sad as she lied to them .

After sometime avni insisted ria to come on shopping to purchase necessary things for the trip. They went to mall and avni started looking for bags .

Ria - Avni don't know why I'm scared of you going alone. Moreover lying to your parents. I feel guilty.

Ria said to avni who's looking for the small back up.

Avni - Ria, please don't spoil my mood. Can you believe, I'm going alone on the trip, Instead of being happy you are making that rotten face. (rolls eyes )

Ria -  Okay, I won't make that face. Ria huffed while avni giggled.

Later they went to the clothing session where avni started looking for dresses for summer.

Ria - Avni, look at this yellow sun dress.  It looks perfect for you and complements your skin. Moreover, watching you in this dress ,I swear all the men who are in trip would not stop gawking at you.

Avni - Really? ( widens eyes) .I hope ,I find boyfriend in this trip.

Ria - you'd definitely. You look hot, if you wear this dress. Go try it. ( chirps) 

Avni nodded and was about to go to trail room but a voice made her stop in her tracks.

Person - Look who's here?  Avni mehta came for shopping wow .( Sarcastically) 

Hearing this Avni's fists clenched tight. She gritted her teeth before she turned around to see the person. Who's smirking at her.

Person - Aww, Avni Heard Neil rejected your marriage proposal?  ( says Sadly) 

Avni glares at the person before speaking.

Avni - Miss juhi ,I'm telling you politely to go away from me. I'm not in a mood to argue with you. Ria let's go we will go to another mall .

Avni said gritting her teeth. Juhi is the senior of Avni and girlfriend of Neil for two years, they both broke up a year back but they are still in contact. While avni and juhi's relation is worst they hate each other most precisely juhi hated avni most for two reasons first she is beautiful than her; second  everytime she used to grab attention of everyone including Neil when they were in relation that's when she started bullying avni secretly as she was the senior of college.

Juhi - Ooh! Moody Avni is scared of me right? 

She laughs making Avni stop abruptly.

Juhi - Admit it avni , that you are a scared kitten. You can only act bold infront of Neil or else your just a crying baby. (  Again laughs) 

Avni - Shut up juhi (shouts) .

Juhi - Look at her guys.  Angry avni looks like a buffoon. ( giggles).

Ria- juhi go and stop your nonsense.

Juhi ignored ria and walked more closer to the avni.

Juhi - I'm glad Neil didn't choose you. You know why because he loves me . ( smirks) 

Avni - He didn't choose you either? Juhi if you forgot let me remind you and Neil broke up a year back and don't be in a delusion that he loves you. ( smiles)

Juhi glared at her.

Avni - By the way, tell me Why did Neil and you broke up? No one knows why? ( Smriks) 

Juhi - It's non of your business. ( Hisses)

Avni - Then ,don't poke your nose in my business. ( yells) 

Juhi fumes but smirked immediately.

Juhi - You know Neil was right. Maybe we broke up, but what ever he said to me about you is right. ( Smiles) 

Avni narrowed her eyes hearing her.

Avni - What did he said to you?  About me?

Avni asked sternly, she doesn't want to ask but juhi's tone and Neil's name were enough to increase her curiosity.

Juhi - Awe, should I tell you? Maybe after hearing you would need an ambulance . (mocks)  

Avni - Don't test my patience dammit spill the beans. Avni shouted.

All customers looked at her starring weirdly but avni care less. Ria tried to calm avni but invain.

Juhi - Neil told me, you're a bit*h who whor*s around him and wants to grab attention of him like a sl*t .(smirks) 

Avni's heart sank hearing her. Hurt flashed in Avni's eyes as She never thought Neil's would use such a disgusting language for her . He called her a bit*h, a who're and what not. How could he? what did she do to him that he told those venomous words to her greatest enemy.

Avni's eyes teared, she could feel her throat tightened to speak anything .

Juhi -  Shocked right? Even I was. You know when we were in relationship he told me this but said  not to say anything to you but I think You deserve to know about his thoughts. ( laughs) 

Avni didn't spoke anything instead she started walking outside ignoring the pleads of her friend ria. She felt suffocated, her heart pained with agony and sadness. Tears pricked down her eyes causing her vision to go blur .Though they were enemies but avni Never understood why Neil hated her that much. She hated him but not much that she would start bitchi*g about him.

Ria - Avni stop.

Ria ran to avni who stood crying.

Ria - Avni ( whispers)  .

Avni - Now tell me ria is he sweetheart? ( chocks )

Ria nodded in no and hugged her.

Ria - Don't cry avni. He is jerk. I never thought he'd say something like that.

Avni - How could he say like that? Do I really act like that? ( cries) 

Ria - shh! You are not avni and Don't cry. See you have to go on a trip right? Then you should be happy. Don't think about him.

Avni - I never thought he'd say something like that. I hate him. (sobs)

After sometime avni calmed down.

Avni - I won't leave him .After my trip I'd make him pay for saying those words to me I promise. ( wipes her tears)
