day seven

dear diary,

I slept outside in the forest last night, but I wasn't alone.

no, during the night I heard howling for the first night and I was soon debating whether I should climb one of the trees in the clearing when the winged wolf I'd helped earlier that day came into the clearing.

I didn't move at all as the wolf got closer ad closer before padding to a halt in front of me.

it spread it's wings out fully and was enormous and standing so near its large teeth and claws I realised the danger I was in, I mean, it could of killed me if it wanted to with one swipe of it's claws. But it didn't.

instead it touched with it's nose, my tear shaped crystal and as it did I reached out and touched it's forehead.

there was a bright light and I suddenly found myself seeing everything in more detail.

"Hello there" It spoke to me.

I gasped and scrambled back. did it just speak I thought at that time.

and my wolf answered me. "Yes, I did, you activated The Bond and we're now part of each other, as long as you keep that jewel on or touching you, you can understand me. Don't be afraid." he told me kindly.

"Then what's your name?" I asked.

"I don't have one, I was given a secondary name, till The Bond is activated then my Bond Mate finds me and I get a new one." the wolf said.

"what was your old name"I asked thinking it was strange.

"It's, gggrrrrrrraaaaaeellll, Its a Pure wolf name so you wont understand it and I don't either as its just a growl, till you give me a name."

"hmm, well, the blue in your fur the most dominant colour, I think it suits you so I'll name you Blue after it." I smiled.

"Thank you, it sounds amazing, what's your name?" Blue asked me.

"my name was Georga, but I'm going to change it to something different, just like you've changed yours." I told Metal.

"I think i'll name you Flame. After the flame I saw you get out of after your 'plane, whatever that is' crashed" Blue said.

So its settled. I'm now called Flame and my wolf is called Blue. We fell to sleep together.

I'm going to take Blue with me to see Kelly now. I just hope she's cooled down since our argument. If not, I'll be saying goodbye and leaving with metal and never going back.

Hey diary,

I'm back!

so talking to Kelly was a huge success and we're friends again. Kelly said that she'd been bottling her emotions up since the crash and it all came out in the argument. that she didn't mean it.
Blue was hiding in the bushes, waiting for me to say it's ok for him to come out. Did I mention that we can talk to each other in our heads. Apparently there's more to The Bond but we've got to find out them on our own. But anyways, I said that I met the wolf again and that we were bonded. Kelly seemed ok with it but was very confused so I called Blue with our telepathic bond and he walked out from the trees.

Kelly gasped and stood back and i told her it was ok.

Metal told me to let Kelly touch my crystal to understand him and I told her she would be able to hear Blue.

Metal talked to Kelly and she asked a bit about the bond and the wolves on the Island,

Apparently there are different types of wolves here,

the normal wolves that we know and love,

Wolves that are as big as Blue, but have no wings, (so just a larger version of ours) known as Fighter wolves

wolves that have wings (Blue belongs in this category)

and Ghost wolves, these types of wolves have died and come to check how their friends and family are doing, These wolves are rarely seen as the wolves are content and happy during this time.

Kelly asked if she could have The Bond  with another wolf and Metal said yes, she could, but she would have to wait for her wolf to come to her, not the other way round. That was what its like with the bond.

So we've made a few changes to our routine now because Blue wants to help me.

so, Metal and me are going to go hunting together every day.

Metal is an excellent sniffer for his pray but I'm equally as good at looking at tracks from along time ago when the scent has gone.

Me and Metal are going hunting together for the first time tomorrow, I honestly cannot wait!
