It was the fourth day today, with every passing day, Arnav felt scared as he knew soon, it was going to be the last day and the last time he was going to be around her and everything was going to change.

Today, he had planned to go for shopping with her, it was kind of good that they got late yesterday so the shifted the shopping to today. Rohan had already made plans and they were supposed to leave tomorrow morning which was a Saturday and come back on Sunday by almost midnight so their day five and six were just going to be the trip and then he was going to have one last day with her for which he had planned something big.

Not big in a surprise kind of manner but just big because some more revelations were going to happen which he couldn't wait for.

Currently, he was seated in Khushi's house with Rohan and Tara, Rohan had called them all here to inform them what he had planned and how they were going to travel and if they were all okay with it.

At least now that they were going for shopping today, he figured he would buy something good to wear on their two-day trip for himself and for Khushi too.

"So you guys okay with it?" Rohan asked.

"I mean it was kind of predictable, whenever a trip suggestion comes up, the first place we always think of is Goa. Also I haven't ever been to Goa so I guess it's good." Khushi giggled.

"Yeah, I'm okay with it too, I mean this heat is really asking for some beach holiday anyway." Tara said.

"I guess if the ladies agree on it, then that's it." Arnav said. Goa sounded like a good plan, chilling at the beach and all would actually be good, also he would get to be around Khushi the entire time so it was good.

"I'll get the flight booked and let you know the timings then." Rohan said.

"Perfect. Anyway, Arnav and I have some shopping to do so we'll leave, incase you two want to shop you can go on our own, we don't want anyone disturbing us." Khushi laughed as she looked at Tara and winked at her thinking no one noticed.

She stood up and headed out of the door as Arnav followed her, once they were inside the elevator, Arnav asked her about it.

"So what was the whole winking at Tara thing about?" He asked.

"Nothing, I just gave her a little bit of advice yesterday and I think it has worked." She smiled.

"Okay I am confused, but excited for shopping. Are you excited too?" He looked at her curiously.

"Of course, I mean who doesn't like shopping right? Plus we are going to spend two days at a beach I don't even have anything to wear to a beach." She sighed.

"Don't worry, we have the entire day, you can buy everything you need and help me too." Arnav smiled. They both got inside his car as he drove them to the mall, of course they weren't going to find everything in just one mall so they began from the nearest one and decided to go on until they had everything they needed.

They went to a couple of shops, bought a few suits and then some casual wear for Arnav also, and some shoes too, everything was chosen by Khushi and Arnav seemed quite impressed by it.

Later, they decided to head to another mall that was just nearby. As they walked in, the passed through a shop that had a beautiful black dress on the display, it caught Arnav's attention immediately.

"Hey, stop." He called Khushi out as she had been walking while staring at her phone.

"What happened?"

"We've done a lot of shopping for me, how about we do some for you?" He asked as he turned to look at the dress on the display.

"That dress is definitely not my style Arnav." Khushi laughed as soon as she looked at it. It was more of a party kind of a mini dress and she had never been to a party neither did she think she was ever going to one, so what was the point of buying something she wasn't even going to wear?

"It will look good on you trust me." Arnav said.

"It might, but where would I wear it?"

"You might get a chance someday and you'll regret not trying it out. Come on, just try it, if you still don't want it, we'll continue." Arnav said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her inside the shop. He asked the helper to get them the dress in Khushi's size, so she led them to where the dresses were, found the size that would fit Khushi and handed it to her.

"Now go to the changing room and try it out." Arnav said, she just nodded and headed inside the changing room, she couldn't believe that he convinced her to try on a dress that she wasn't even considering buying.

She unzipped the back and put on the dress and the tried to zip it but her hand wouldn't reach it, she tried a few more times from different sides and angles but it seemed impossible.

"Arnav." She called him out.

"Yeah." He answered immediately.

"I can't reach the zip, I need help. Would you mind?" She asked.

"Not at all." He said as he walked inside the changing room, Khushi turned around making her back face him, Arnav just stared at her in awe for a moment.

"Hurry up, we don't have forever, besides I'm hungry. We need to eat first before we continue shopping okay?" Khushi said as he just nodded.

Of course it wasn't the first time he was seeing her like this or just her bare back, they had been married, he had seen her naked many times, but today... there was just something different.

"Arnav." Khushi looked at him, he nodded as he pulled the zip upwards zipping up her dress, she looked at herself in the mirror, the dress was such a perfect fit for her as if it had been made after taking measurements of her exact body.

"Wow." Arnav said.

"I know right, it's so beautiful. You were right, it looks absolutely gorgeous." Khushi smiled.

"I told you so, you should definitely buy it." He suggested.

"I think I should." She giggled as she looked at it once again in the mirror, it was such a beautiful dress decorated with sequins, and it hugged her body perfectly, it was just so perfect.

"Where will I wear it though?" She looked at Arnav, second guessing herself whether she should buy it or not.

"I'll take you to a club or something but just buy it already." Arnav said.

"You like it that much?" She asked.

"I like you in it that much." He smiled as he cupped her face and looked at her into the eyes. Right now he really had this urge of wanting to kiss her, he just wanted to smash his lips on hers, but he had to control himself because he knew Khushi wouldn't want that.

She stared back at him silently, not saying a word, he could hear her breath, why was it so difficult for him to control himself now? It was like some fire ignited inside him that he wanted to stop but the more he wanted to stop it, the more it kept on spreading.

He lowered his hands slightly and brushed his thumb on her lips, as soon as he did that, she shut her eyes and inhaled a deep breath.

"Arnav." She whispered his name.

"Khushi." He whispered her name back as he bent down, closer to her lips, wanting to kiss her really bad yet something kept on stopping him.

He knew if he did this, it would ruin everything between them, even this friendship they had built, it would make everything awkward for the three days they had left and he dint want that, all he wanted was for her to be comfortable around him and she was going to be comfortable if he kissed her.

It would just bring back all the horrible memories of the past which was the last thing he wanted. When they were married, maybe all those times, he never really made love to her, but now that they were separated was when he realized it, all those times, it might have been love from her side, but from his side it was always lust.

And if he kissed her right now, it would just make her think that he was doing the same again which wasn't the case now, things were different now, he loved her, but he couldn't tell her.

He ran his hand to her back and unzipped the dress and then stepped backwards from her as she opened his eyes and looked at him in confusion. Was she just about to let him kiss her? How could she? After everything that happened between them.

"I'll let you get changed and then we can pay for the dress then go get something to eat." Arnav said as he walked out.

"How could you Khushi!" She looked at her reflection in the mirror angrily.
