The Iredescent is one of my prequel books :) it isn't finished yet, but I needed to look into Raistin's prequel story for a certain chapter in The Undeterred, since he shows up in that book (actually Raistin shows up in every single book). And so I decided to upload this even though it is unfinished.

But yeah, anyways. This will explain more of Raistin's past. Before he became the happy cheerful Phoenix, he was an extremely lonely depressed Phoenix. Tereza is Iro's mother and Crimson's grandmother. I included pictures of Raistin and Tereza below. They are very much how I pictured them.

And as you'll soon see, I wrote myself into my own story. I am the Ruler of Iredescent, Irina Acai, and I look exactly like her. Long dark brown hair and sparkly blue eyes, with lots of shimmer and glitter. Seriously though, I really wish I was on planet Iredescent and could wear fancy sparkly dresses and be with hot Iredescent men. But a girl can dream :) and my eyes actually do sparkle. So maybe I am secretly Iredescent :)

Also, it's safe to say I did eat a lot of chocolate chip cookies while writing this prequel (which was about half a century ago. Just kidding lol, though it was like years ago). Much of my writing is fueled by desserts and tea. Anyways, yeah! As Irina says in the story, "Thousand Glitters". I say, "Sparkle on!" ✨
