Synopsis

Aria Morales has always lived in the shadows, a shy bookworm at school, blending into the background with no intention of being noticed. But in the secret parts of her life, she's more than just a quiet girl—she's also a confident vlogger, showing a version of herself to only herself in a secret diary that no one knows about. And deeper still, Aria hides her most dangerous secret: she's a mermaid.

Keeping her three worlds separate is a delicate balancing act. By day, she admires Jack, the school's star quarterback, from afar. Jack, popular and seemingly perfect, is everything Aria feels she could never have. He's surrounded by friends and followers yet detached from them all. He doesn't see the girl who quietly supports him from the back of the stands, hiding in the crowds. Or at least, not yet.

As Aria begins to slowly cross paths with Jack, their worlds unexpectedly begin to collide. The walls she's built to protect her secrets—her mermaid identity, her isolated family life, and her true self—start to crumble. Jack, intrigued by the girl who's so different in and out of school, is determined to get closer, unaware of the dangerous truth beneath her surface.

But with each step toward Jack, Aria risks exposing her secret. One slip, one accident, and everything she's hidden could come crashing down—her anonymity, her mermaid identity, and maybe even her heart.

In a world where the tides are always shifting, Aria must navigate the thin line between who she truly is and who she pretends to be—before her worlds collide in ways she can't control.

Hello, everyone did you guys miss me? I haven't been updating a lot lately. I had to unpublished two of my stories. Dang, my focus is all over the place and can't stick to one thing at a time. Well, this time. I think this one I can stick to because it's been on my mind and also because the idea, I came up so many things I have thought of from the slow burn and then to future of it. Ha! Okay, one day at a time and one step at a time. I hope this time I will stick and complete this rather than just putting it on side like I did. 

I would also appreciate any feedback and/or criticisms that anyone can suggest and help me out. I am not a perfect writer, and I am trying to improve.
