Annabeth's POV
"So how was it?"

A voice came out of nowhere, making me jump.

"Don't do that!"

Piper lay smirking on my bed. Then she jumped off.

"Come on! You have to tell me what she said!"

"Hm.. Well..."

"Annabeth..."

"I don't know... Should I tell you?"

"Annabeth! Come on!"

I laughed.

"Alright fine. We went to this little coffee shop. We sat down. She said that she used to have a crush on Percy but was willing to let him go. Percy always didn't get the hint."

"That's all? I thought it'd be a threat against you!"

"Then she told me info about Percy and such."

"Wow..."

Pipers tan face was shocked.

"Yep."

Her face lit up suddenly.
"Guess what?"

"Hm?"

"Jason and I are taking a trip to Rome over Spring Break!"

"That's great." I smiled at her. "Will your dad and his parents let you go though?"

"My dad... He's usually busy and I'm just going to go anyways. Jason... His parents are both dead, actually he doesn't really know his dad, just that he's some kinda big business man."

"Okay then."

"Yep. I'm pretty excited. Oh crap! I have to go! Jason was taking me on a date tonight!"

"Well good luck!" I called after her as she ran out of the room.

I sat on my bed and looked out the window.

My warm breath made the window fog up, and I drew a smiley face in the fog.

It was a chilly night, and I could see all of the city lights. No stars though.

Then I got another knock on my door.

I opened it up, and standing on the other side was Thalia.

"Hiya."

"Heya yourself Annabeth."

"So what can I help you with?" I questioned.

"Well... we haven't talked in a few weeks, and I was wondering if you wanted to have a movie night? "

"Hm. Sure. Why not? My room or yours?"

"Yours? Mines... a bit messy you could say."

"Mkay..." I raised one of my eyebrows at her. "What movies did you pick out?"

"Sharknado, Star Wars, Mulan, not a big selection, just the first movies I grabbed off the shelf."

"Nice selection, I'm in for some quality entertainment huh?"

"Yup." Thalia shoved past me and jumped on my bed.

"Hey! I just made that this morning!"

"Too late." she shrugged.

I grabbed some pajamas and changed. It was owl printed fuzzy pants and a random t-shirt.

Thalia was wearing pajama pants with little lightning bolts on them and a Led Zeppelin shirt.

"So which one?" she wiggled her eyebrows at me, one which was pierced.

"Um... Sharknado? The graphics are terrible but it's hilarious."

She put the DVD in.

Minutes later, we were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt, doing terrible impressions of the actors, yelling at the TV, and questioning the movie.

"You can't just chainsaw through a shark!"

"No, just no."

We started Mulan by the time Piper got back.

"Hey." she said, jumping on my bed.

"My poor bed..."

Piper's cheeks were flushed from either blushing or the cold. She had on an oversized hoodie on and fuzzy socks which she put in our faces.

"Ew! Get those things out of my face." I yelled, while Thalia just started tickling Piper.

"No!" she yelled and laughed at the same time.

I joined in on her belly, and she kicked me in the face, causing my nose to bleed.

"Ow!" My poor nose. I went to the bathroom to help it.

When I returned, Piper and Thalia were talking.

"So how was your date with my boring brother?"

"It was great." Piper said with a far away look in her eyes. "We went to the top of the Empire State Building and looked out at the view. And we just wandered around and did random things."

"Nice."

We were all silent for a minute, then Piper asked me,"So how's your nose Annabeth?"

Then I started tickling her again, avoiding her feet.

The next morning, I woke up, with Thalia and Piper laying on both sides of me, asleep.

What happened last night?

Then I remembered. We were talking and then fell asleep. I went to the bathroom and looked at my appearance. Phew, Thalia hadn't drawn on my forehead. She was one of the types of people to do that. My blond hair was tangled and frizzy from last night.

Then I heard a knock on the door. Surprisingly, lots of people had been knocking lately. I peeked through a little hole through the door and there was Percy Jackson. Crap!

"Just a minute!"

I quickly ran back to the bathroom and brushed my frizzy hair. Popping a breath mint in, I quickly changed into jeans. I surprised myself because I usually didn't care about my appearance in front of boys. I just didn't want to look sloppy, I told myself. But why did my stomach have butterflies? Well I might have a slight crush on the guy, besides the fact that he was a great kisser...

I opened the door and casually leaned on the door frame.

"Hi."

"Hey Annabeth..."

Percy was standing there looking amazing as ever. His raven colored hair was messy and his eyes, green like the sea, looked at me intensely. He had on a blue hoodie and jeans.

"So. um. I. I was wondering... if you wanted to go somewhere today, since it's the weekend."

Wait did he mean like a date?

"Just like hanging out?"

Awkward silence. He cleared his throat.

"Um... no. Like a... date."

Wow. I thought he would be confident, smiling at a girl with his endearingly crooked smile and windswept black hair, sweeping her off her feet.

"Okay. "

"Great! I'll pick you up at 4."

Then he ran off. I stood there for a minute and then closed the door. A date with Percy? This would be interesting.

"Well that was awkward..."

Thalia and Piper were obviously awake.

"Don't talk about my social awkwardness. " I groaned. "Now help me get ready."

At three fifty-five, I was nervously pacing back and forth in front of my door.

"You'll be fine and have fun don't worry." Piper reassured me.

I had my normally curly hair straightened with just a touch of makeup.

I wore a dress with leggings and boots.

Then at four o one, there was knock on the door.

I went to open the door.

Percy's POV
I was sweating. I hadn't gone on many dates to be honest, and I hoped that I didn't screw it up with Annabeth.

I attempted to look nice, with a button up shirt I found in the bottom of my drawer.

I knocked on Annabeth's door. Phew.

She opened it up, and she was beautiful.

She looked as nervous as I did.

Her storm gray eyes were bright and calculating like they had a million thoughts going on in them.

Her hair was straight, to be honest I liked it better curly but she was pretty either way.

"You ready?"

She smiled. "Yeah."

"Wait, wait!" Piper came and glared at me.

"You better not treat Annabeth bad and give her the best date she's ever gone on or I will personally hunt you down and make you pay."

Her kaleidoscope eyes were really unnerving as they glared at me.

"Yes mam."

Annabeth's face was red.

"Let's go."

She stepped out and closed the door.

We went down to the lobby and out the door.

I planned to take the subway for this date.

We sat next to each other in silence.

There was a business man talking into his microphone on his ear, a pregnant lady, an elderly man, and a couple of college kids.

When we got off, Annabeth gasped.

"No way! You took me here?"

I smirked. I had cornered Thalia and asked her what Annabeth liked.

Apparently she liked architecture, so I took her to this new architecture museum that also had a big garden.

Annabeth started running up the steps to the marble building. She stopped to admire the architecture at the top.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about architechture. I didn't some subjects, and having ADHD didn't help with concentrating.

It was cute to watch her run from display to display, geeking out on me if she knew something about the architechture, which was pretty much the whole museum.

Her face would light up and she would start taking animatedly, using her hands and hand gestures to explain, with a look in her eyes of excitement and wisdom.

We were almost through the museum, and that's when Annabeth had to use the bathroom.

I stood with my hands in my pockets looking bored at a display of Ancient Greek architecture.

That's when someone tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around, ready to fight.

"Geez don't kill me!" The person said.

I just stood there surprised, staring at the person.
