Annabeth's POV
I followed Reyna out of my room.

I was really curious as to why she would ask me to coffee out of all the people who could.

I decided to text Piper to tell her where I was going, just in case.

Annabeth: Reyna just asked me out for coffee?

Piper: Uh-oh. That's bad news.

Annabeth:Wait WHAT why is that bad news!?!?

Piper is typing...

Annabeth:Hurry Piper! I'm freaking out right now.

Reyna turned around and looked at her.

"Who are you texting? I'm just curious."

"Just a friend from California."

"Oh."

Buzz!

Piper: She must want something out of you. Reynas powerful at this school. She's like silent and deadly, way more powerful than Drew who could ruin your social status.

Annabeth: Crap! I'll be on my guard than... Wish me luck.

Piper: Good Luck... You'll need it.

I tucked my phone into my back pocket, but kept vibrate on.

We were at Reyna's car now, a sleek silver FireBird.

"Nice car."

"Thanks my sister got her for me."

Reyna smiled fondly at the memory.

"That's cool."

"Yeah."

I got into the passenger side.

Her car was very organized.

"Want to listen to some music?"

"Sure what do you have?"

She handed me a stack of CD's.

I looked through them.

On top was Adele 21.

I opened the cover and slid the CD into the slot.

"There's a fire starting in my heart..."

"This is one of my favorite songs."

"Me too." I said.

"Have you heard Hello yet?"

"Yes! It's amazing."

"It is."

We drove up to Coffee.

Yep, the shop was just called Coffee.

We walked up to the counter.

"So how can I help you ladies?" The person at the counter said.

It was a guy, with wavy, messy blonde hair and a tan.

His name tag read; Hi my name is Will.

"I'll get a Iced White Chocolate Mocha."

Reyna got an Espresso Con Panna.

We sat at a table in silence.

"So. May I ask you a question Annabeth?"

"Sure..."

"I've been hearing rumors about you and Percy kissing. Are they true."

Crap. I kept my face blank and thought about an answer. What was she trying to do?

"Well, yes you have been hearing rumors. They are partly true. I did kiss Percy at the dance but it didn't go any further than that."

Reyna's face turned a bit dark.

"Well... Annabeth..."

I sat awkwardly.

"I've had a crush on Percy for a while now... And it's not been going anywhere. I've dropped massive hints and such. He's oblivious. Then you come in and he just kisses you. I wanted to hear it from you. I must admit, I'm feeling a bit jealous, but he wouldn't talk to me about anything. So Annabeth, I will let him go."

I was shocked. But not about the crush part. I could guess about that but I was shocked she said she would let him go.

"I... thank you Reyna. Well Percy and I... we haven't gotten really far. I mean, he's just the guy that I kissed. Nothing more so far. I admit that I have a crush on him. I don't know about him."

At that moment, Will, the guy at the counter came with our coffee.

"Here you go. One Iced White Chocolate Mocha and one Espresso Con Panna."

"Thank you."

We accepted our coffee.

"Honestly, I haven't known Percy for as long a time as some people at this school, but we're pretty good friends. Hmm... let's see. He lives in Manhattan, I know that. He has a mom and a stepdad. I met them once before and they're pretty nice. No siblings. He loves the water, especially the ocean. He's not stuck up or anything as some people would expect. He's amazing at swordfighting."

"Nice." 

"Also, know that he's really loyal. He would do anything for someone he cares about. And... oh! He has some history with a girl named Rachel Dare. I know that they've kissed, but nothing more. They're friends as far as I'm concerned and hand out from time to time."

"Wow, that's a lot of information. Thanks, Reyna."

"Anytime, Annabeth."

"We should do this again sometime."

"Sure."

We grabbed our cups and took them back to Reyna's car. 

She drove back to the school. 

"Thanks." 

"No problem." 

We parted ways. 

Phew... I pressed by back against my door and slid down.

Hey guys! I know that it's been so long since I've updated. Thank you if you're still even reading honestly. It's just that I normally write these on my phone and right now I'm doing this on computer and it's so much easier. So to be honest with you guys, I'm thinking of trying to rewrite this story. It will have most of the same plot points, it will just be better.
