Fascist Crushers
Life would be sad without books,
Don't you think?
Pray take a look,
At the swirls of soft ink.
Books are ungloved,
They are the soul mirrors.
In characters loved
you see yourself clearer.
You know them like friends,
So lively and free,
until the book ends
And to authors you plea,
To please write another,
As good as the first.
A book like no other,
To quench our sharp thirst.
Because books are more
Than just words and a cover,
'Cause they open doors,
The great fascist crushers.
