Episode 8 : Yelling 'DIE' Isn't A Good Way To Make Friends

Mark sighed tiredly as he glared at the ceiling. He hated waking up. He rolled out of bed, bags under his eyes. He had gotten relatively no sleep after he had a nightmare- He felt childish and sighed. It was 4 AM and he woke up. He walked to the bathroom, throwing water in his face. He walked over to the window, it was still early enough.. he opened it and then jumped, he was waiting till he was closer to the ground to start flying but- he wasn't falling.. and he was currently being held up by a man in a weird looking hoodie.

"Hey uh- You good kid? You want to talk or anything?"(Bird man?)

"Nah I'm good- Why are you grabbing me though?"(Mark)

"..You just jumped out a window."(Bird Man)

"What do yo- OH MY GOD- You thought I was- No dude I can fly!"(Mark)

"...That's what the last person who I caught said."(Bird man)

"Who are you?"(Mark)

"I'm Hawks."(Bird Man)

"I'm

."(Mark)

"...You just jumped out a window-"(Hawks)

"Let me go and I'll prove I can fly."(Mark)

"Alright alright fine, but we're landing on the ground first."(Hawks)

"Fair enough."(Mark)

Time skip

(Authors note:Did I include this because I simp for Hawks? Was this just an excuse for the title card? Why am I writing this? Well you see)

"Today we're going to the USJ."(Aizawa)

Immediately a hand shot up

"Yes Mark?"(Aizawa)

"What's a USJ?"(Mark)

"The Unforeseen Simulation Joint, we'll be practicing rescue training."(Aizawa)

Swirling black energy pooled around the USJ and left a sinking feeling in Mark's stomach

"Shit."(Mark)

"What? I thought this was rescue training! You guys brought fake villains too!"(Eijiro)

"Everyone get back! These are real villains!"(Aizawa)

Mark heard the teacher's decision, but given as it's a stupid ass decision he decided to ignore it. He shot lock a rocket into the sky to scope out how many had come.. the place was covered in vi- 

BOOM

Before he could realize it, he was in a crater in the ground and felt a sharp pain in his ribs.. Huh.. he had almost forgotten what pain felt like- the last time he got hurt was- 

He looked up at what was on top of him.. No.. No.. Not again- stay away- get away- 

"G-Get away!"(Mark)

He yelled as he thrashed on the ground, his mind screaming at him to fly away. Fight or flight response- he felt the beast's hand connect with his face and.. It didn't hurt as much as he had expected- Granted it still hurt like hell but.. It wasn't who he thought. Upon closer inspection-

There was no red cape, there was no J Jonah Jameson mustache, there was no hateful glare. For a split second he thought his father was back.. He sighed in relief.

"Nomu, kill him."(???)

"Yeah it ain't that easy Crusty!"(Mark)

He yelled as he punched the monster in the face sending it flying away

"Let me guess, crazy scientist doctor dude made him in a lab? What's the D.A Sinclair knockoff's name eh?"(Invincible)

He said with a grin, so what if the goggles of his costume had been shattered.. again- Damn.. Arthur couldn't even repair them this time- He'd have to rely on one of the people at UA for the goggles.. The Nomu was back in a second. Mark couldn't help but appreciate the speed, almost as quick as him- Well probably not bu- 

BAM

Okay, he needed to pay attention, time to act like dear ol' dad.

BA-

He caught the monster's hand mid-swing

"Need a hand? You will in a second."(Invincible)

He said before he squeezed, shattering the monsters arm

"Mark! Stand back this thing is a villian!"(Aizawa)

The monster screamed in pain and Invincible flinched slightly.. Oh god- He's acting like a viltrumite.. but this thing isn't human- And it's too humanoid to be an alien so.. He assumed it was like the reanimen. To Mark's surprise the crusty ass villain began laughing.

"Nomu! Return the favor by crushing his skull!"(Crusty)

"Yeah that ain't gonna work chief."(Invincible)

Relying on vocal commands, less advanced than Sinclairs work, as much as he fucking hated him, this thing was just sloppy. Mark felt his head get grabbed and squeezed.. He stood his ground, something his dad had told him a while ago

"Well.. Invincible is a bit of a.. self-indulgent name, but if you showcase your Invincibility enough, people get the message. If your ever in a fight against a strong opponent, act like their every attack either doesn't hurt or tickles, it scares whoever your fighting and their reactions are always funny."(Nolan)

Today

"Grabbing my face? Kind of kinky~"(Invincible)

So he decided on the approach that might land him in horny jail.

"The fuc-"(Crusty)

He remembered something else his dad did.. something less family friendly. He made a motion with his hand like a karate chop and brought it straight through the beast's arm, loosening it enough for him to pull it off his face. He laughed a little to add onto his false confidence persona

"That the best you got? I mean if a 16-year-old can stop this thing it's clearly pretty damn weak!"(Invincible)

He said as he laughed before the sound of an explosion filled his ears, enveloping him and the monster

"MOTHER FUC-"(Invincible)

He had stopped floating and fell to the ground clutching his, now bleeding, ears. Trying to ignore the ringing as he felt the beast's fists punching him over and over-  He screamed in pain as another explosion shot out

"STOP FUCKING EXPLODING ME KATSUKI!"(Invincible)

He screamed in both pain and anger. He shot up into the air, straight through the glass ceiling of the USJ, bringing the Nomu with him, and kept flying. Higher and higher, higher than the buildings, higher than the clouds, higher than Snoop Dogg in the white house bathroom. Reaching the end of earth's atmosphere. Then he turned and started flying down, as fast as he could straight towards the ground, flames covered his body and the Nomu's as well as he shot towards the ground like a missile. miles away from the USJ, far enough away to look like a shooting star in the middle of the day. He made sure the monster's head was sticking out and then he impacted the ground. 

BOOOM!

Something he had learned from his dad was that flying fast enough out of earth's atmosphere cleans off blood. So he did that before flying back to the USJ. He was a bit out of breath as he landed

"Mark! You alright!?"(Aizawa)

The homeroom teacher was currently fending off at least 20 villains at once

"Yeah, the monster thingy couldn't survive a fall from the atmosphere- I think I accidentally atomized it or something? I threw what was left into the sun so it wouldn't come back."(Invincible)

"...The Nomu's gone?!"(Crusty)

Before he could begin cursing the same portal from earlier circled around his legs and then the villain was come, along with the portal man. 

"Wait what?"(???)

"That thing that was supposed to kill All Might?!"(??)

"Fuck this I'm leaving!"(?)

"Me too!"(????)

"Well that solves that.. Kind of."(Invincible)

He shot through the air grabbing as many villains as he could and throwing them into the nearest body of water.

"Huh- Oh hey Midoriya! Purple boy! Uh- Frog!"(Invincible)

"Kero."(Frog)

"You.. You need a lift out of here?"(Mark)

"Grayson? You got sent here too?"(Midoriya)

"WE'RE SAVED! THANK GOD!"(Purple Boy)

"..God huh? Hold on let me go check!"(Mark)

He said as he shot up through the roof again
