"Hey, how are you feeling?" Seiji asked as the girl woke up
"Where am I? Where are my parents?" Was her predictable reaction
"They left me didn't they? They abandoned me because I'm a monster." She ranted and tears started swelling up in her eyes
"Hey, Hey. Look at me, you're okay now. Why did they say you're a monster?" Seiji whispered as not to upset her.
"One day I set our house on fire by accident, i-i-it k-k-k." She tried to say but couldn't hold back the tears and started crying.

"You're going to be fine, don't worry about what they said. They don't understand people like you and me." Seiji comforted by hugging her and rubbing her back.
" You see, me and you are special. People don't like others who seem weird or are different from what they are used to." Seiji explained before forming a small flame in his hand, making her jump a bit.
"Don't be scared, I won't hurt you. You can do this too right?"
"Yes, but it burned everything before. I can't control it, I'm scared. If I do it again I'll hurt more people"
"You can learn, like I did. You can control it but never let it control you, I was bad at the start too. My teacher was tough on me but he helped me a lot."

"If you want, I could be your teacher. I'll let you think about it, eat this food. The doctor will come by later" he said before giving her a tray of different foods and leaving.

"Well the good news is that she seems a lot more calm now, but she still has some bad memories. I should be able to go in and view them later but I don't know with her current mental state. You guys can see her later, the commander just extended our stay. So if you have anything to attend to, you can go." He announced to the team.

"I think we will all just tour around town, tell us when she is ready to talk to us though." Wolf said and everyone agreed before discussing where they would go. Seiji simply left them to do their things while he went back to his hotel room to see if his plan got approved.

There was nothing so far but he did receive one interesting email from Shiro it read:
"Where have you been? We haven't seen you lately and are worried, everything alright? You should come and hangout with us this Saturday or Sunday!" He simply replied that the new classes he was taking was an accelerated class and it was 3x harder, he did say that Sunday would be good though. (Btw it is currently Thursday for him)

With that being said he also checked if he had gotten any hits for a missing child matching her description, then he realized he was an idiot and didn't even ask for her name or tell her his. He could be the smartest guy in the world but still be absentminded some times. He got no hits but the DNA test he ordered would come back soon enough. He still wondered how a girl who looked to be 5-7 years old could have that much power.

After doing some other classwork and homework he decided to step out into the hospital gardens for some fresh air, he always did love flowers. They had all different sorts and some not even from the continent, each area had its own unique setting for the flowers. Ranging from basic red roses to cherry blossom trees, he admired the scents and vibrant colors of all the sweet smelling flowers. He decided to actually pick a few and buy them, the hospital did have a limit per month though. He decide to get a (line? Idk what they would be called) of wisteria flowers, 3 blue roses, and a small part of a orchid branch.

After getting some he went back to his hotel room to drop off the flowers, then decided to take a small nap. However he didn't get any rest, in fact it was quite the opposite. He woke up with a start, noticing he was sweating a lot and breathing pretty hard.
"That's impossible, the operation was complete successful. Damnit." He thought wearily as he stripped and went to take a shower.
You see, in this day and age PTSD was almost non-existing due to how far surgery had come. There was a specific operation that was offered to all vets, and people coming back from service to essentially give them better control/ total control over their bad memories. So they could only remember when they wanted to, it greatly reduced the number of people with PTSD. It was almost always successful too, with its rate being 98.5%.

He had gotten it after every major battle in the first couple of years, it was completely successful and he had never heard of symptoms coming back. While he was showering he travelled back to his first years of military service, the first time he had been sent in. It was a war between the UN and some 5 countries of the Middle East, they worshipped these beings and had used nuclear weapons against Russia and China. The UN decided to end them for good. He still could remember his first time experiencing real battle.

FLASHBACK
The battle was at it's peak, gunfire roared across the field. Saviors and Valkyries falling to each other, engaging in the bloody combat. He remembered the horrible smell of all the blood, countries were reluctant to send in their Saviors and Valkyries but once the other side had. Russia and China jumped at the chance, the battle was progressing well, they were getting heavily pushed back. That is until they launched some kind of new weapon, he remembered how terrifying it was. Not being able to control yourself, this weapon turned everyone against each other. Even the other sides forces were affected, they were forced to face each other and kill themselves or kill the other person. He watched as several of his comrades in arms took up the sword against each other, utter terror on his face as his body started moving towards his closest friend at the time.

He remembered the first time he felt pain, he had stabbed himself to prevent him from killing anyone. Since he hadn't been shot or stabbed his first time hurt like. Then he looked around, everything was on fire. Jets had crashed, tanks fired crazily, missiles going out of control. The ringing in his ears growing louder, he could barely hear the retreat order despite the fact that the General was yelling and screaming. He forced himself up as made his way to his friend who had been shot in the abdomen, he realized how bad this was immediately and threw him in a fireman's carry before speeding off using his Savior skills. He could almost feel the bullets from his comrades firing on him, when he finally made it there he collapsed and was taken into surgery along with his friend.

Once he awoke the doctors told him that they both would be fine but the war had deteriorated a lot, the other side had started using everything they had, including nuclear weapons. Then Russia and China decided to use theirs too, radiation was everywhere and sickness spread. He looked over at his friend Kazuhiro, hoping they would both make it out.

Flashback end

"The damn bastards" he screamed as he punched the glass wall of the shower, making it shatter. He still remembered how they had nuked the city, their last-ditch effort. He slumped down to the floor and sat there, trying to calm himself. He was successful in doing so and got out of the shower before dressing himself and going to meet with the team.

"So let us go then," Seiji said as he opened the door to her room.
"Hey there, how you doing? This is my team, don't worry you can trust them as much as you do me" He said before letting them introduce themselves.
"So what's your name? Mine is Seiji, sorry for not introducing myself before. I can be forgetful sometimes" he introduced
"My name is Kotomi Gray, my mom was Japanese and my Dad was British." She introduced.
"So Kotomi, do your Parents names?" Mist asked
"My moms first name is Ayano, her friends call her that but I don't know my dads" she replied, Berserk signaled that he would go check and left.

"Well then Kotomi, the doctors say you are fine now. So how about we go to the park or the gardens?" Acid asked
"I would love to go to the park, if that's not a problem for you all." She said excitedly before blushing in embarrassment, Wolf chuckled a bit and brought a wheelchair around and wheeled her out to the park nearby. She had a bit of trouble but in no time at all she was running around before getting Flash to push her on the swings.

"So boss, what's been bothering you?" Joker asked noticing his odd or more introverted personality than usual
"Nothing at all, just wondering what kind of people her parents are." He lied and Joker seemed 50/50 in believing him
Then Berserk came back with some interesting results,
"Apparently they flew here 3 days ago and booked an Airbnb, they left on the day you found her. The reason she wasn't with them is because she was apparently "staying at a relatives house for a week".
"Wow, they flew all the way here to abandon her, that is abandonment to a whole other level" Joker commented as he looked over the file on the parents who were both successful business people.

"Well I say we got pay them a visit soon, forward everyone the address." Seiji ordered before everyone's cell phones rang. They all picked up and ran into the hospital to turn on the news and get geared up.
"Sorry, but we have to go now. The bad guys are coming. Don't worry, I promise I will come back or have someone come and get you later today." He said to her before she reluctantly nodded and went with a nurse.

"BREAKING NEWS,________ ATTACKS EAST ACADEMY OF JAPAN" was the title, he saw the entire school on fire and a new type of monster. A helicopter came and sent them to the airport where they took off at the fastest and safest speed. Traveling at Mach 3, which was still dangerous in its own right but they had to get there. It would take 2 hours but it was better than nothing.

They slowly came to a stop and saw the thing, it was fully new type. It had completely engulfed the.....

"Oh, f**k," Joker said as he looked over to Seiji who looked downright furious at what it crushed, it was the boys' dormitories. Then the thing noticed them and all of a sudden they were sent flying out of nowhere, they had to eject in order to just survive. They were met with a less than pleasant landing but quickly encircled it and tried to probe it for its abilities which were met with a huge wind force blowing them into the air. 

"All it's been showing us is this wind ability and the rest of them are getting pointlessly killed," Berserk said, anger bleeding into his voice because he could land a hit.

"All Saviors and Valkeries retreat, fall back and surround the school."  They all heard shortly after Berserk made his statement. "666, you are to keep fighting". 

So they did just that before realizing that it was an impossible order to complete, they regrouped in the girls' dorm building.

"Wait, you guys hear that?" Mist asked, and everyone listened in. Only to hear a very subtle humming, they then promptly looked outside and saw something horrifying. It was melting and absorbing everything in the bounding field it had put up, then a minute later it reformed. Same old same old humanoid shape, then it let out a deafening screech. Its body glowed and stuff flew out of it, whether it be a bed, a rusty pipe, even entire walls. All it flew everywhere, causing immense damage to the campus. 

"Damn, it's going to keep absorbing stuff and shooting it back out. How the hell are we supposed to get close" Flash said as he looked at the behemoth. 

"It probably had all the other basic features too, including shields so we would have to break them too," Wolf said as she zoomed in with a scope to try and scout for any visible weak spots.

"There is also the problem of where the core is, usually its visible or at least protruding and kind of obvious. Now it's completely hidden, any ideas boss?" Berserk asked impatiently, and everyone looked over at him. Only to see Seiji looking around in the air trying to look for something like he was in VR.

"No visible weak spots, impossible to x-ray or see-through. Possible locations; Inside Skull, solar plexus, or pelvic area. 

Absorbing and projecting it back out, Fix: Easily evadable objects, if not shielding will suffice. Objects are also easily breakable.

Shielding; Follow the standard procedure." That was his entire process, visualizing its body and using what he had to visualize possible outcomes. Aka is known as: 

"Perfect Vision" The Captain's special skill that allows him to solve impossible problems". Acid said as they looked on and saw him snap out of his trance, he then cast strengthening talismans on all of them.

"We will forcibly break through the storm of objects, Berserk and Flash you two will check out the head area for the core. All the rest will divert its attention." Seiji ordered and they did just that. Berserk picked up Flash and jumped very hard towards the titan, which broke through its storm of objects and damaged its shield. Wolf took a sniping position and distracted it from afar, while Acid threw irritants at its eyes. Mist then proceed to speed around it while slashing it in random places, while Seiji guarded Berserk and Flash against any incoming attacks.

"All clear over here, where next Ice?" Flash asked

"Solar plexus" was the simple reply and they went up to crack it.

Suddenly it turned into goo again, so they fell back and then it reformed but it had wings. It took off into the air and holes opened all over its body.

"Impossible, how?!?!?!" Wolf panicked as she saw all the corrupted Saviors and Valkyries coming out of it. They immediately started attacking the team, meanwhile, it started shooting giant metal spikes out of them.

Seiji then decided to experiment once again. He had been trying to channel Blaze and the others into his body directly so they could take over and unleash their power.

"Koi! Blaze!" The field was covered in a bright flame before it settled and Seiji had disappeared only to be replaced with a 7 foot very muscular man, with a red mantle, short red hair, and a red beard. He was also wearing brown armor and had a sword at his side. (I'm lazy, guess which character from which anime I took)

"Charge!" The man yelled before jumping into the fray, the rate at which he was killing put Berserk to shame. Drawing his sword covered in flames, tens fell with each, Dash, Slash, and Thrust he made. Then the swords engravings lit up and a dragon formed, quickly traversing through the crowd setting everything on fire. It then finally crashed into the titan, setting it ablaze. It screeched in agony and this only seemed to motivate the man.

He threw his flaming sword at it but was caught mid-air by strings that lopped off his limbs, he managed to regrow them and tried again but there were simply too many strings to slice. The wings started flapping really hard and they were all blown into the air while it flew off, after it left they all crashed into the ground. The bright pillar of flames shot into the air for a second then disappeared as fast as it had come.

Seiji was found collapsed on the ground and EMTs moved in with search and rescue efforts.
