Chapter 16: Ride of Death
*Virgil's POV*
Never in my life have I hated car rides more than I do now. Ever.
Let me just make it clear, little spaces in a car is a biiiiit nerve-wracking and uncomfortable.
But with these guys all crammed in the car, it's a living nightmare.
Roman belting our lyrics to a song called Stitches on the radio, Logan practically backseat driving, and Patton litterly clinging onto me in his exaustion.....
I didn't think I could imagine anything worse than that...but was I wrong. Oh so wrong.
Thomas's driving skills completed this litteral nightmare fuel, as he swerved slightly to avoid hitting a stop sign.....for the fifth time.
I don't think I can take much more, as I felt tears pricking my eyes, on the verge of an attack. My breathing started to get weird, but I didn't think anyone noticed. The loud pounding sound of my heart came rushing back to my ears, drowning out the sound of Roman's singing. My fingertips we're getting cold, but my body was burning, like someone soaked me in kerosene and shot a lighter at me out of a cannon.
I was alone
No one really cared
It's too.....
Patton squeezing my hand at that moment was the only thing keeping me grounded from continuing that thought process, as my finger tips slowly got warmer.
After what felt like hours of just focusing on Patton's touch and an interesting moldy spot in Thomas's car, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, having calmed down enough to give a snarky reply to Thomas's amazing driving.
Patton, noticing my breathing relaxing, gave me a small smile and closed his eye again.
"Thomas, how exactly did you get your license?" I chastised as loudly as my throat would allow, as he frowned at my comment.
"The same way everyone else does, I took the test and I passed." Thomas said loudly over Roman, rather confused.
"I am quite doubtful in that, Thomas. Your driving technicality is utterly horrendous, to say the least." Logan half shouted, butting in.
Thomas turned away from us, as he looked at Roman and his ungodly loud singing, before swerving once more because he was distracted.
Thomas muttered something under the sound of the music, as he huffed, before clicking off the music, causing Roman to scoff and me to internally praise the Lord Satan for my salvation.
"What in the Aphrodite was that for, Thomas swerve?" Roman asked, dramatically outraged.
"I can't concentrate on driving with you singing so loud, Roman. It's very distracting!" Was all Thomas said at first as he paused to stop at a light, before continuing. "Plus, Patton might be asleep." Thomas said, looking back because he was fully stopped.
I glanced down at Patton, who was unknowingly cuddling closer to me. When he heard his name, his one unbruised eye fluttered open halfway.
"Verge...." Patton mumbled, a sleepy smile on his face that was so adorable, I couldn't help but give a small smile back to him.
"Hey Pat, how you feelin?" I asked, quietly, as the whole car was blissfully silent.
"Goooooood. I'm tired *yawn* not sure if I'll make *yawn* it to the movie." Patton said, his yawn a bit infectious, as I stiffled a yawn too.
Glancing over, I saw that it affected both Logan and Roman, as I chuckled after my yawn.
"That's ok, puffball Padre." Roman chimed in, after he was done yawning. "We can wait till you wake up." He finished.
"Just relay your house address and we will awaken you when we arrived at the destination." Logan informed, as Patton have a small nod.
"Um.....it's....it.." Before Patton could say anymore, he was out like a light, fast asleep on my shoulder.
Roman looked dumbstruck in amusement, as he glanced between me and Logan. He struggled to bite back a laugh at how quickly Patton fell asleep, earning a glare from Logan.
I sighed, wrapping an arm around his shoulder slightly, fixing the awkward position he fell asleep in.
"But we still don't know his address?" Thomas said, as the light finally turned green and he was on his way.
"Does Patton have his phone on him?" Roman asked, and I didn't bother to respond.
"I believe so." Logan replied, rather confused, before an idea lit up behind his glasses, blinding me with the glare.
"I'll refer to his address on the phone, Thomas. Once I have retrieved them, please locate and transport us there." Logan continued, unlocking the phone with ease, and sure enough, there was an address.
"Well, Specks, what the address?" Roman asked.
"16 Picani Rd, Thomas." Logan confirmed. "And I am not Specks, I am Logan." Logan continued, but Roman turned away, clearly ignoring that.
"Alright." Thomas said, as he skidded, seeing the road sign was this one and turned immediately left, causing Patton and I to smash into Logan.
Logan grunted from the force, and Patton's eye shot open, as he gasped in pain like someone painfully ripped off a band-aid.
I didn't say anything, as I quickly straightened myself up, looking out the window for anything that could distract me from how much I wanted to get out of this dämn car.
"Patton, are your injuries ok? Do we need to go to the hospital?" Logan asked, steading Patton upright, as Patton moved his hand rapidly to his side, wincing.
"I....I think my injuries...are ok....my side just started hurting a bit, no big deal." Patton said quietly, not looking into anyone's eyes.
Logan was about to say something, probably about how Patton dosen't need to act like that, but an abrupt stop from Thomas cut him off completely, as we all slammed forward in our seats.
"We're here!" Thomas said, brightly, putting it in park before he turned off the car.

Greetings!!
I know this chapter is bad. I'm not sure what direction I want to go with this anymore.
If you guys want ships, comment your favorite ships here, and maybe I'll do them.
But....I might just.... stop writing it because no one cares about it anymore.....
Maybe I'll go edit it....make it better....
I'm not sure how to.....
I don't know, I'm in a weird mood. Sorry.
Love, duck.
