Day 1
This is my first day at Destroya, first impressions are not well done. For starters, the students are forced to wear uniforms, some have chains on, and worst of all the teachers are scary looking... I don't want to be here... I want to go back home. But maybe it's not too bad... let's give it another chance.

Kali, turned her communicator off and jumped out of her bed. She raced over to her room mate and shook her awake.
"Sky! Sky!" Kali called. "Wake up! X is coming to our school!"
Sky opened an eye and looked at her friend.
"Kali... " Sky mumbled. "five more- wait? X?" She jolted up and bumped her head against Kali's by mistake.
"Gwah!" The two mimicked each other simultaneously falling back.

Sky jumped up, followed by Kali and raced to the closet and tried on as many different combinations of clothing. Clothing flew everywhere. Finally, they had chosen their outfits: The blue and grey checkered sweater vest top over a white short sleeved blouse, a short black skirt, knee high white socks with blue bands around the top, black dress-flats, a black tie and a blue and black head band. Which was also the school's mandatory uniform.

"So, when do you think we'll meet X?" Sky asked as she tied her long blue hair into pig-tails; on on each side of her head, with red cherry hair ties that have red balls at the top.

"Not sure." Kali responded as she headed towards the door. Once Sky was done, the two headed to the main hall of the institute; which happened to be in the centre of the planet's core.

Sky and Kali joined the rest of the students and stared up at the platform where the head master would stand.

The main hall was a giant sphere with connecting hallways to the rest of the school. It was mainly used for assemblies and the beginning of the year orientations which were mandatory for all students.

An old looking lady walked up to the podium, which stood in the centre of the hall, and knocked onto the mic. Boom. Boom. Boom. The taps echoed through the hall. There was a slight screech before the lady began to speak.

"Good Morning students." She paused so that the students could respond back to her. Just as expected, the student body responded back to her. "Today is the first day of classes. You have 10 minutes to find your class and to claim a seat. Any students left in the halls after the bell, will have to visit the detention rooms."

There was a mur mur amongst the students, most knew the detention rooms were code for the moons: the place of no return.

The lady tapped on the mic again to settle the students down. "You have 10 minutes to get to class. Your time starts..." There was silence as she paused for dramatic effect. "Now!"

Suddenly everything broke out in chaos. Students ran in every direction, headed for their classes as fast as they could. No one wanted to enter the place of no return.

Sky grabbed Kali and the two took a short cut to their class, getting their so much faster than the other students. Sky and Kali had been at the school for most of their lives, more than even the senior students. They know every knook and cranny that the institute has and the know where all the passages lead to.

Kali and Sky were orphans, they had no family but themselves. They were taken from their planets and brought to the Destroya at a young age with other orphaned kids from other planets and even other galaxies. It was a beta project to see how the students would fair in the planet-school. If they survived, the school would open the next year. But if they did not survive, the administrators would wait a couple of years before opening the school. No one died. But most of the beta's have graduated and have become strong adults.

Kali and Sky sat at the very front of the class and were usually the smartest in the class, besides the teacher. The two were inseperable, they were more than friends, they were sisters. They watched as anxious students rushed into the class room, each ran to a desk and sat down at it as if their life depended on it, and to them, it did.

Once all the students were safely inside the class and the bell had rung, the teacher stood up in front of the class and examined each and every student.

"This is a very special year!" The teacher spoke with command and strictness. "Can anyone tell me why?" His eyes gazed around the room. When no one raised their hands, he took the power to choose a student to be voluntold. "Miss Fawn. How about you?"

All the eyes stared at the small red headed girl who sat in the centre of the class.

"Um." She mumbled softly. She looked down at her hands and to the ground.

"Well?" The teacher pressed against his desk.

"It's.... -" The girl shook with fear for she didn't know the answer.

"It's the 101 anniversary of the school's opening." Sky whispered to the girl with red hair.

"That is correct Miss Skyla! But I was asking Miss Fawn." The teacher boomed before continuing with his lesson.

Once the clock struck 12:00-noon, the bell rang, excusing everyone from their class so that they could all head to the café to get some lunch.

"You may go now class." The teacher packed up his things and headed to the staff room where the staff went to eat for lunch.

Both Sky and Kali got up out of their seats, but as they headed for the door, they were stopped by the girl with red hair.

"Um." She stared at the ground in front of them. "Thank you for helping me back there."

Sky smiled. "No problem, you looked like you needed some help."

"We love to help others," Kali added. "Oh and by the way, I'm Kali and that is Sky! I don't think I've seen you before, are you new here?"

The girl with red hair looked at them and smiled a bit. "I'm Fawn. It's nice to meet you two. And yes. I'm new, is it that obvious?"

"Nah, but my girl Kali knows everyone here at Destroya." Sky wrapped an arm around Fawn's shoulders.

"Since your new, why don't you come join us for lunch, and we can show you around!" Kali wrapped the opposite arm of Sky's the other way around Fawn's shoulders.

Fawn smiled brightly for she was happy to be with the two girls. "Sure, I would love that. Thank you." She replied politely.

With that, the three left the classroom and headed off towards the café.
