After answering the distress signal, the Interceptors made their way to the Colony of Sobrik. As the Interceptor's flagship landed at Sobrik, the Interceptors exited the ship and began exploring the colony. What they found was devastated colony with no survivors. 

Carth: Damn. The Murk Raiders sure did a number on this place. 

Starling: Keep your guard up. The Murk Raiders might have left a few surprises for us. Let's not give them any opportunity. 

With that, the Interceptors began exploring the colony. During their search, Argus noticed something strange.

Argus: That's odd. The place hasn't been picked clean. 

Mason: Maybe these colonists put up more of a fight than they expected.

O'Niner: But I'm not seeing any Murk Raider bodies. 

Starling soon grew suspicious. There was no signs of pillaging. It seemed as if the Murk Raiders only attacked without stealing anything. 

Carth: I've got a bad feeling about this. 

Starling looked around for any signs of a trap. She found no signs of a trap, but she couldn't help but feel that she was being watched. As the Interceptors kept their guard up, they soon came across the body of Leondros. Mason checked Leondros's body. 

Mason: He's dead. Whatever killed him did so recently. 

Argus: I don't like this. We're too exposed. 

Starling looked around Sobrik for any signs of a trap. Meanwhile, Repton and the Raptors stalked the Interceptors from their hiding spots. They watched as the Interceptors continued t osearch Sobrik. 

Argus: Whatever happened here is over. We better head back to base. 

Suddenly, a shot rings out. O'Niner screams in pain he fell to the ground. Mason pulled O'Niner to cover as the Raptors unleashed a barrage of blaster fire on the position of the Interceptors. 

O'Niner: Shit! My leg! Bastards got me good!

Carth: What the hell is going on?! 

Argus: Can anyone see where the shots are coming from?! 

Starling peaked from cover to catch a glimpse of the attackers. She quickly realized that the Raptors were attacking. 

Starling: It's the Raptors! 

Argus: They got us pinned down! We need to get moving!

Mason: That's gonna be a problem, Argus! O'Niner's hurt bad! He can barely walk!

O'Niner: I'll....I'll be fine! 

Starling quickly realized that she and her squadron were in a difficult position. The Raptors had them pinned down and left little room for them to move. 

Starling: Interceptors! Ready your shields and form a phalanx around Mason and O'Niner! 

With that, Starling along with Carth and Argus readied their shields and formed a phalanx around Mason who carried the wounded O'Niner on his shoulders. As the Interceptors moved forward, Repton gestured to a group of Raptors. As he does so, a group of Raptors pounced on the Interceptors and broke through their phalanx. The Interceptors were completely caught off guard as the Raptors attacked them. During the attack, O'Niner was attacked by a Raptor. 

O'Niner: Is that the best you got, you bastard! COME ON! GIVE ME SOMETHING WORTH DYING FOR!

As O'Niner attempts to fight off the Raptor, the Raptor overpowers O'Niner and stabs him in the chest with a Crystal Blade. 

Argus: O'NINER! 

As O'Niner was killed, the Interceptors were barely able to fight off the group of Raptors. But their victory was short lived as the Raptors began to swarm them. 

Argus: We're outnumbered, Starling! We need to get out of here!

Mason: Argus! Raptors are coming up from the ridge! We can move....

Before Mason could finish his sentence, a blaster shot strikes Mason in the head. As Mason collapses to the ground, Argus rushes over to Mason, but he dead before he hit the floor. Argus was soon pounced by a Raptor. Though Argus was able to push back the Raptor, he was severely wounded in the process. Eventually, the Interceptors were pushed to the building near the Interceptor's flagship. 

Starling: We need to get back to the ship and get out of here! 

Carth: Cover me! I'm going for the Skimmers! 

Carth then ran for the flagship while using his shield to block the blaster fire. As Starling and Argus provided covering fire, Starling noticed a Raptor loading a rocket launcher. 

Starling: Carth, look out! 

Just as Carth reached the flagship, the Raptor fired the rocket launcher and hits the ship, causing a large explosion that caught Carth in the blast. Starling watched in horror as she only saw Carth's charred shield. 

Starling: CARTH! 

As the Raptors closed in on Starling and Argus, they were eventually cornered near a waterfall. Starling and Argus made their stand, but the Raptors were too many. Knowing the battle was lost, Argus turned to Starling.

Argus: Starling, get out of here. 

Starling: Don't even think about it, Argus! I'm not leaving you behind! We're getting out of here!

Without warning, Argus pushed Starling off the cliff. After doing so, Argus made his final stand. The Raptors quickly closed in on Argus and overwhelmed him. Refusing to give up, Argus kept on fighting until he came face to face with Repton. Despite his valiant effort, Repton quickly overpowered Argus Repton soon readied his Crystal powered Boomerang and looked upon the wounded Argus.

Repton: Die with your head held high, Interceptor!

Repton then thrusts his sword into Argus's chest, killing him. After killing Argus, he looked down the waterfall. Believing Starling was dead, Repton grabbed Starling's discarded shield and claimed it as a trophy. In that moment, the Interceptors were wiped out with Starling as it's sole survivor.
