I will be free till Saturday. So if u guys complete the target soon u will get the chapter or else the update will be postponed to next week. BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER will be updated only after the target is completed.

After that they drove to the office. On the way Laksh was again teasing Raghav. When they entered into the office they both got shocked seeing the person standing at the reception. Raghav was still in shock when Laksh smirked and went near to Raghav's ears....

Laksh: i said na dada that Raghav is destined to meet his Maithili....he whispered still looking at Maithili.

Raghav: yeah...he whispered and Laksh giggled.  but  Raghav composed himself.

Raghav: did u planned something or what...

Laksh: huh...dada...this is not fair ok...i was with u all the time and how can u suspect me like this...actually its not me...its the one who is up there planning everything...i would like to give some tips....

Raghav: Laksh...he said sternly and he went silent giggling.

They went towards the reception. Raghav was about to talk but Laksh beat to him...

Laksh: hi dii...what a surprise..i didnt expected u here so soon...he said and Maithili along with the receptionist looked at him shocked and confused.

Raghav: Laksh...he called for him sternly stopping him from blabbering something more. Laksh realised what he said and tried to patch up..

Laksh: huh...i mean what are u doing here...yeah i was meant to ask that...are u here to thank us...if it is no need at all...hainna dada....

Raghav: whats going on here shasha...he asked the receptionist ignoring him.

Shasha: sir she is here for the interview...but she is late..

Laksh: what but its-....

Raghav: Laksh..go to our cabin and start preparing for the report of the previous deal..i want it in one hour...

Laksh: but dada...

Raghav: i said in 1 hour Laksh...he said in slightly raised voice. Laksh slightly flinched on the voiced which Raghav always hates to use it on him but now he cant let him speak any non sense before the girl they met yesterday. 

Laksh: ok dada...he said in a low voice and left from there silently with his head hung low. Raghav knew he has upset him..but it was necessary now and he knew how to pacify his kid.Maithili saw the interaction between and was surprised and also confused. But now her interview was important.

Raghav: dont u know that u should come early for interview process Ms.Maithili..

Maithili who understood Raghav was one of the important person in the office started speaking.

Maithili: sorry sir...i really caught up in the traffic...and u know what happened yesterday...she said last line as whisper but he got it.

Raghav: but now the process would have started right Shasha...

Shasha: yes sir...i was also telling her that only...

Maithili: Sir please...i really need this job...please give me a chance please...please sir..

Raghav: but Maithili i-...he stopped when he saw his father and his chachu going inside towards the cabin discussing something. Now he has to go or else he knew what will happen in the office.

Raghav: ok...Shasha let her attend...Ms.Maithili let this be the first and last time u are getting late...go attend the interview all the best...he said and left from there in hurry not even giving her a chance to thank him. She looked at his retreating figure in confusion but shrugged it off and went to the interview.

Raghav reached the cabin and sighed in relief seeing Laksh doing the work he gave. His father and chachu was on the other side of the cabin discussing something. One look at Laksh and he knew he was upset. Laksh can take all the insults and torments even beatings but he can never withstand with Raghav's anger and his raised tone. He sighed and went to him.

Raghav: Laksh....he called him in a soft tone.

Laksh looked up from his laptop and saw him. Raghav sighed again. He always hated to see tears in his eyes. And now he was just a few minutes away from crying. He went to him wiped his unshed tears. Laksh remained silent. Raghav was about to talk when Amal called him there. Raghav closed his eyes in frustration. Out of all the time his dad has to call him now.

Raghav: complete the work....we will talk afterwards...ok...he said softly to which he nodded in ok.

Raghav left him to meet his father. They started to discuss on some upcoming deals. But Raghav was looking at Laksh then and now.

Raghav pov.

I am sorry baccha...i had to stop u...i know what u are thinking and desiring in ur mind. Even i too got attracted by her...may be i like her too...but no...i don't want anyone in my life who will make distance between us...i can't afford to lose u...but i am really sorry for scolding....

After nearly an hour Laksh completed the work and went to Raghav's table. Raghav was going through some files which was related to the interview process. They have shortlisted 3 people out of 24 and he was quite impressed by Maithili's performance, even her academics were also too good....she really deserved the job so he selected her.

Raghav saw Laksh standing infront of him with the report. He knew he has to pacify him in his way...so he silently took the report and went through it hurriedly and signed it. Then he called the clerk and handed the report and also the interview process file to him. Laksh was waiting silently all the time with a sad pout. Raghav smiled a little seeing his kid was getting agitated as he was not talking with him. He wanted to rile him up more to see for which extent he will remain strong but also he knew when to stop. And now his kid needed comfort.

Raghav: come....let's go to cafe...he said getting up taking his mobile. laksh looked at the watch. It wasn't even breaktime. Raghav answered his unasked question.

Raghav: come on baccha....he said guiding him out of the cabin slowly. Amal and Ankit saw them and kept silent.

In the cafe.

Laksh was sitting with a pout when Raghav came with a plate of hot samosas, a cup of coffee and a milkshake... Laksh saw the plate but remained silent. He was upset no he was angry...may be trying to be angry on his Dada for yelling on him.

Raghav saw his dilemma of taking the snack and suppress his smile. But when he find Laksh not touching it he sighed and went to sit beside him.

Raghav: Laksh...

Laksh: don't talk to me...he said in low tone ready to let his tears roll down any time.

Raghav: huh....that much angry....ohh then it's ok...he said and was about to get up when Laksh hugged him tightly making him sit back with a thud. Raghav looked around the people who looked at them with adoration. They have witnessed this so many times...they knew how much sad or how much badly crying Laksh was when they will leave the cafe Raghav will make sure to wipe off the sadness from him. The one thing all the employees fascinated about was the brothers and their bonding...no one knew that Laksh was their boss's illegitimate son but also they were confused in their boss's behaviour towards Laksh and the way Raghav nurtures him and protects shows how much he loves him.

Raghav tried to pull back Laksh when he felt his shirt getting wet due to his tears...he was clutching his shirt tightly like his life depends on it. In a way it was true....his life only depends on his Dada ...

Raghav: i am sorry baccha....u know right...i don't like when u make urself too attached to strangers...he said successfully pulling him back and wiped his tears

Laksh: but it was Maithili di ....he said innocently...

Raghav: apart from her name what else u know about her...tell me....he said and he looked down sadly.

Raghav: i know u like to make friends Laksh but not this fast...it's not safe....i can't afford to lose u...i don't want anyone to create distance between us ...he said trying to make him understand what he desires will not happen.

Laksh: u scolded me dada....he said pouting more making Raghav chuckle

Raghav: ok baba....i am sorry for that...now don't make this face...i can't see u like this...he said taking the samosa and forwarded to him.

Laksh took the bite and smiled and again he was hugging him.

Laksh: i am also sorry....i was so happy seeing her here...i just got enthusiastic....

Raghav: i know....he said and feeding him again.

The whole scene was witnessed by one person and the love between the brothers baffled them. The way the elder one scolded and the way younger one obeyed immediately. And the way he was pacifying him for scolding him and upsetting him. Maithili looked at the brothers duo with so much adoration.

She was so happy that she got selected for the job. She wanted to thank Raghav and found he is in cafe from a peon. When she came here she witnessed the most cutest brothers scene in her life. She slowly approached them.

Raghav: so Laksh now u are going to our leisure room and take out ur Economics book and start studying....i don't want u out of the room for next 2 hours....he said making him pout again. Pacifying session was over and now again the father in his Dada woke up....

Laksh: but Bharath bhaiya said he will help me with economics during the exams....

Raghav: how...by teaching how to copy in the exams without getting caught...if it's true...trust me he is so bad in that...u can ask for tips from Ripu in this matter....

Laksh: dada....he said laughing on his brothers words and stopped when he saw Maithili standing infront of them. He didn't knew she was still in the office. He thought his brother would have sent her out.

Maithili: shall i have a second....she asked hesitantly and Laksh looked Raghav for permission.

Raghav: what's it Ms. Maithili...

Maithili: i got selected sir....i just wanted to thank u for giving me the chance.....

Raghav just nodded in ok.

Laksh: congrats di...he said a low voice sipping his milkshake. Maithili smiled at him.

Rahav: when are u joining....

Maithili: from tomorrow...

Raghav: ok...have something and carry on...u look exhausted...he said standing up followed by Laksh still the straw of the milkshake in his mouth and he waved a bye at her.

Raghav: Laksh...straight to our room and take the economics book....

Laksh: can i study it with Bharath bhaiya please....

Raghav: then statistics book it is....

Laksh: no...i am fine with economics....he said making a face and Raghav suppressed his laugh as he knew how much Laksh hated the subject. He will only study it in his presence ...

Maithili was still looking at the retreating figures going out of the cafe. She could see how protectively Raghav was holding Laksh. She could witness a funny and loving brother when he pacified him and at the same time a loving and a strict father when he scolded him in the morning and also now when he ordered him to study. It was clearly an order but the love in that tone will make anyone obey to it....the way he was wrapping his hands around him clearly showed one thing Laksh was more than a brother to him...and he will do anything to protect him.....

Maithili: who is this Raghav actually....why are u attracting me this much....she thought to herself and smiled a little....

Maithili: Raghav....Raghav Singhania... she said smiling...
