Dawn was holding Piplup in her arms after she had remembered the great memories that she had had of her, Ash and Brock travelling together and she hopes that they could do it again one day. She really missed Ash with all of her heart and she regretted not confessing her love for him when she had the chance. She always wondered if he had feelings for her back. She then thought herself as silly as she thought that Ash didn't even like in her that way. Unknown to her, Ash loved her a lot. She longed to see him again and she wondered when she was going to get the chance to meet the young man she loved once again. Johanna saw her daughter brooding over not being able to see Ash Ketchum and she giggled at him. Dawn heard her. "What's so funny, Mom?" She asked her mom.

Johanna calmed herself and she grinned at Dawn. Dawn gave her an confused look and she decided to answer Dawn's question before the girl became impatient with her. "You have the same lovesick look you always have when you are thinking about Ash. Why don't you just go to Kanto? I'm sure he's there," she answered Dawn's question and she watched Dawn light up like a fire hydrant and she laughed at how red Dawn's face was. 

"Mom!" Dawn cried out in embarrassment as she covered her face with her hands. She had let Piplup walk around the grass outside of the house. Piplup watched the interactions between his trainer and her mother and he spoke very happily. When Dawn noticed what her mother had asked, she calmed and she sighed. 

"Do you think that's a good idea?" She asked Johanna. Johann then saw the uncertainty in her eyes and she smiled softly. 

"I know going to Kanto to visit him would be the perfect idea," she advises Dawn. Dawn smiled back at her mother as she knew that she was right. What's the worse that could happen? She thought as she knew that no matter how mad Ash could be about losing to Tobias, she knew that he would never hurt her.
