Ash was enjoying the breakfast Delia cooked for him. He knew his mother was the best chief he had ever known. Mom beats Brock by a whole 100 miles! Ash thought. He glanced at his pokemon, who were enjoying the homemade sweet treats and pokemon food that Delia had fixed for them. When Ash had his full of breakfast, he glanced at Delia. "Mom? What's wrong?" He noticed that she was swaying a bit in her footsteps. 

"Huh? Oh, nothing, Ash. I feel a little faint, that's all," Delia answered. Ash noticed the way his mother was moving and he quickly caught her before she fell onto the floor. 

"Mom? Mom!" Ash screamed in worry for his mother. 

A few minutes later, Delia was in her bed with a wet towel on her forehead. "Ash?" She whispered. Said young man was sitting right beside. 

"Mom, you should have said something," Ash lightly scolded Delia, who giggled at his light scold. 

"I know, but you were so happy. I didn't want to ruin it," she told him softly. Ash shook his head. 

"You don't ruin anything. You're my mother," he reassures his mother, who gave him a soft smile.

"Oh Ash, I'm so happy you're back," Delia tells him. Ash grins at his mother. 

"I know. I missed you when I was done," Ash wasn't afraid to admit it to his mother that he missed her. 

"What about Dawn?" Delia asked. Ash gazed down at the ground.

"Yeah, I miss her too. I still do," Ash tells Delia.

"You need to tell her," she advised Ash.

"Yeah, I know I need to tell her, but how do I go about telling the girl I love that I love her?" Ash asked his mother. Delia laughed at how worried Ash was.

"Just ask her out on a date and confess your feelings for her," Delia tells Ash and her smiled at her. Mom has the best advice. He thought, smiling at Delia.

"That sounds perfect! Thanks, Mom. Now, get some rest. You are sick and you need to rest," Ash tells Delia. Delia grinned at Ash and she closed her eyes to sleep. Ash grinned at Delia as he got her a new wet cloth to put on her hot forehead.

Ash stayed near his mother's side just in case she wakes up and need something. Ash and Pikachu just watched Delia as she slept and Ash even woke her up when she needed to eat and take medicine. After Delia took the medication that Ash trusted to help with her fever, she was back to sleeping.

After a while, Delia had woke up again and there was a bowl of hot soup on the nightstand behind her. She sat up and Ash came back into the room with some drinks and crackers. "You awake already? I was going to wake you, but you're up," Ash smiled at his mother.

Delia smiled at him and Ash helped her eat the soup and crackers. After her dinner was done, Delia didn't want to go back to sleep, but she did just lay back in the bed.
