Ash was looking at Sceptile in worry. The fully evolved Grass-type Pokémon was glaring at Darkrai, one of the Legendary Pokémon of Sinnoh. The Pokémon was a lot stronger than the ones that Sceptile had passed in the past. Ash looked at Tobias, the Trainer he was facing. Tobias was emotionless in his face, but his voice was filled with emotion. "Darkrai, Ice Beam!" He shouted. Ash quickly made his move.

"Dodge it, Sceptile!" Ash cried. Sceptile obeyed his Trainer as he dodged the Ice Beam. Darkrai had used other Ice Beam and Sceptile struggled to dodge the new Ice Beam. This is too much for Sceptile. I have to finish this match now! Ash thought in worry. He looked around the battlefield, causing Pikachu, his trusty Starter to be concerned.

"Pika pi?" Pikachu asked. Ash's gaze fell on the yellow rodent and Ash shook away his worries.

"I'm fine, buddy," Ash answered Pikachu. Pikachu wasn't convinced, but he left the matter alone.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu started to cheer for Sceptile. When Sceptile heard Pikachu's cheer, he became filled with more energy.

"Sceptile!" Sceptile cried out his name. Ash smiled. Alright! He happily thought.

"Sceptile, full-power Leaf Blade!" Ash ordered. Spectile's leaves on his arms turned bigger, sharper and they glowed green. Sceptile ran to Darkrai.

"Dodge it, Darkrai," Tobias ordered, but Darkrai couldn't dodge the attack. Sceptile attacked Darkrai with one blade and then he turns around and attacks Darkrai with the other blade.

The attacks wiped Darkrai out and the Legendary Pokémon fainted. The crowd went wild.

"Darkrai is unable to battle! So Sceptile wins!" The referee says, making the crowd act even wilder.

"This is the first time we've ever seen one of Tobias's Pokémon knocked out! Ash Ketchum has done the seemingly impossible!" The announcer had said.

"Darkrai, return." Tobias returned his Pokémon. This boy is something alright. He thought.

"Alright! Sceptile had beaten Darkrai!" Dawn had said. She was really happy that Ash was able to defeat one of Tobias's Pokémon.

"Yeah, Ash is doing great!" Brock had said.

But, Dawn and Ash both knew that Ash wasn't going to win this battle. It was impossible without all six Pokémon and Ash only had two. However, Ash was ready to face Tobias full-heartedly. He wasn't about to go down like some loser.
