A Few Days Later

Honnouji Academy: Classroom 2-K

Ryuko: *Stare*

(Y/N): *sweats* (whisper) please stop.

Ryuko: (whisper) Not until you tell me how you got to class so fast the other day.

(Y/N): (whisper) There... There was another cable car!

Ryuko: (whisper) Bullshit!

(Y/N): (whisper) Aliens.

Ryuko: (whisper) Tell me damnit!

Ryuko had been pestering Y/N ever since he had miraculously showed up to class on time during No-Late Day. She couldn't figure it out for the life of her and she wanted to know how. Y/N would either ignore her, deflect the question, or just outright run away. However, Ryuko wouldn't give up so easily. The bell rang and the students left the classroom. The trio walked out together, as usual.

Ryuko: Tell me how you did it!!!

(Y/N): I said I "ran" didn't I?

Ryuko: You expect me to believe you "ran" all the way to the class room with less than 30 seconds until the bell rang!?

(Y/N): ...Yes?

Ryuko: You're wearing a Kamui too, aren't you!?

Ryuko jumped on Y/N and began trying to rip off his shirt.

(Y/N): Waaah! That's sexual harassment!

Mako: I'm so happy you guys are getting along!

(Y/N): Mako please help me get her off! Wah! S-Stop that tickles! *Laughs*

Ryuko relented and got off.

Ryuko: Hmmmm... You're not wearing a Kamui.

(Y/N): There is no way in sin, that I would be caught dead wearing one of those "Kamui".

Ryuko: Hey! Senketsu is a great piece of clothing!

(Y/N): With THOSE kind of transformations!? No way.

Ryuko: I didn't choose that! Mako back me up here! Mako?

Ryuko turned around and Mako was no longer there.

Ryuko: Mako? Mako!! Y/N did you see where-

Ryuko turned around to see Y/N being carried off by the biology club.

(Y/N): I really hate this place... -_-

Ryuko: Hey! Get back here!

Ryuko transformed and chased after the club members all the way to their lab and confronted their leader.

Ryuko: Taking hostages is pretty low!

Mako: Ryuko, you're so cool!

(Y/N): Why am I always being taken too!?

Biology Club President: They are not hostages! They are the Biology Club's precious Guinea Pigs!

Ryuko lunged at the club president with her Scissor blade and cut off his uniform as well as the other club members. The attack ended up sending everyone outside and into the courtyard.

Ryuko: I guess that wraps it up.

Mako: Thanks, Ryuko!

(Y/N): Yes, thank you for rescuing us... again.

Ryuko: Don't think you've escaped my questions!

(Y/N): Poo. -_-

Ryuko collapsed her blade to a significantly smaller size.

Mako: Wow! You can change the size of your scissor now, too!

(Y/N): That is actually really handy.

Ryuko: Pretty much. It's no big deal.

Senketsu: Your blood's been pretty salty lately. Don't you think you're getting a little cocky?

Ryuko: You can tell that from how my blood tastes?

Senketsu: I can immediately spot any change in your physiology. Everything from your weight to you BMI.

Ryuko: Butt out of private stuff like that!

Senketsu: You've been eating too many of those croquettes.

Ryuko: No, that's called butting in where you're not wanted!

Senketsu: Calm down. Impatience is bad for you. As is greasy food.

Ryuko: Give it a rest, damn it! Wipe that smug look off your face!

Senketsu: I do not have a face.

Ryuko: Quit nitpicking every little thing I say!

Mako: Wow that's amazing! You're doing a comedy duo act all by yourself!

(Y/N) "Act"? I thought she was just crazy.

Ryuko: Shut up!

Mako: Thank goodness you rescued us! If they had cut open my belly all of my lunch would have fallen out, here Y/N! Let's share!

(Y/N): Oh. Thank you, Mako.

Ryuko: Worry about your life more than your lunch.

Before they could start eating, Y/N and Mako were shot with dozens upon dozens of needles, pushing them off the chain they were sitting on and onto the floor.

Ryuko: GUYS!! Hey, guys! Say something!

A man with a red mohawk came walking out of the shadows.

???: I got them out of our hair for a while. They are unharmed. Thanks to the effects of the needles, when they wake up any fatigue they had will be alleviated, any sickness cured, and they will be full of vim and vigor.

Ryuko: Oh. Thanks for that.

???: Your uniform, however, will get no mercy!

Senketsu: Run, Ryuko!

Ryuko dodged to the side and tried to run from the hail of needles coming her way. However, She was eventually pinned down by the mysterious man, unable to move. The man pointed his gun directly at Ryuko's chest.

???: At this range you'll die, take off your uniform.

Ryuko just glared at him.

???: Then you leave me no-

The man was interrupted when he heard Y/N get up.

(Y/N): Ooooh my god. I am covered in needles. Hoooooly shit.

Y/N was trembling and had his arms out, his body still covered in needles.

(Y/N): Holy shit, this is freaking me out. This is ACTUALLY freaking me out. Someone help me. Q_Q

???: What the- You shouldn't be able to move!

(Y/N): Oh my god, why would you fire THIS many needles at someone!?  I'm not really afraid of needles, but THIS!? No. Please take them out.

The man took a few steps back, surprised that the person in front of him was moving.

(Y/N): I can actually FEEL all of these needles IN my skin. PLEASE take them out. Q_Q

Before the man could say anything he felt a small needle hit his hand, and began walking away.

Ryuko: Hey! Get back her-

The man fired a needle past Ryuko's head, stopping her in her tracks.

???: I'll be back... to strip you tomorrow.

Ryuko and Y/N watched as the man disappeared into the same shadows he came from.

(Y/N): Ryuko...

Ryuko: Huh? Yeah?

(Y/N): Please help me get these off. Q_Q

Honno City No-Star Slums

Aikuro was drinking at a bar by himself, when the man with the red mohawk sat next to him.

Aikuro: "I hate being interrupted". That's what you wanted to say, right, Tsumugu?

Tsumugu: Why did you call me?

Aikuro: Pull up a seat! The Kiryuins don't have eyes down here.

Tsumugu: Why did you call me?

Aikuro: *sigh* Leave Matoi alone. We're at a crucial point. Dr. Matoi's plan was to use the Kamui to thwart the Kiryuins' plans.

Tsumugu: That uniform is too dangerous.

Aikuro: What if Matoi proves herself to be a powerful ally?

Tsumugu: If she's consumed by that thing, it'll create a threat even greater than the Kiryuins. That's why I'm gonna terminate it now.

Aikuro: "People and clothing aren't enemies." Isn't that what Kinue said?

Tsumugu slammed his fist against the counter.

Tsumugu: I owe you a debt. I'll do anything you ask. Except when it comes to a Kamui.

Tsumugu sat down, but didn't look at Aikuro. Aikuro raised his brow.

Tsumugu: Who's the boy with her?

Aikuro: Who?

Tsumugu: You know damn well who!

Aikuro: *sigh* I'm not sure. His name is (F/N) (L/N), he transferred in the same day as Matoi.

Tsumugu: Is he a Kiryuin spy?

Aikruo: Doubt it, with the way he acts, he seems like a regular kid who's in over his head.

Tsumugu: There is nothing regular about that boy.

Aikuro: I know what you mean. For now, I'm going to keep an eye on him, but my primary focus is still Matoi.

Tsumugu: Hmph.

Tsumugu got up and walked out of the bar, leaving Aikuro to finish his drink.

The Next Day

Honnouji Academy

Y/N was walking to school by himself, a little tired but otherwise just fine.

Mako: Y/N!!!!

Mako came running at Y/N and catapulted herself onto him, Y/N didn't attempt to dodge this time and instead just caught her.

(Y/N): Good morning Mako.

Mako: Morning Y/N!

(Y/N): Where's Ryuko?

Mako: Oh! She went on ahead to face down that mohawk guy from yesterday!

(Y/N): Ok. So, what's up?

Mako: It's our turn to clean the school!

(Y/N): What?

Mako: Yeah! In order to keep the school clean, random No-Star students are selected to clean up the place!

(Y/N): *sigh* And it's me and you, huh?

Mako: Yup! Let's go!

Mako handed Y/N a mop and bucket and began walking toward the courtyard. Y/N noticed Ryuko with her Scissor Blade out staring at the front entrance to the Academy.

(Y/N): Hey, there's Ryuko.

Mako: Aw Yeah! She looks ready to kick butt!!

(Y/N): Well let's get out of the way and start cleaning the school.

Mako: Awww. I wanted to watch.

(Y/N): *sigh* I have a feeling that you're gonna get your wish.

Mako and Y/N walked up the stairs and began to clean. However, when they got closer inside Y/N pulled Mako away from the hall.

(Y/N): Mako wait!

Mako: Huh? What is it Y/N?

Y/N looked closely and then sighed. He threw an eraser at the hall and a series of needles and grenades flew from the sides and ceiling.

Mako: Oh my gosh! What are those!?

(Y/N): Some asshole decided to booby-trap the hall, and from what I can tell the whole school...

Mako: Wow!

(Y/N): ...We have to clean them up don't we?

Mako: Yep!

(Y/N): *sigh* Give me a break!

Mako and Y/N slowly began to clean up the school. Y/N would disarm and clean up the traps, and Mako would clean the floors. After a little while a series of explosions rocked the school.

Mako: Wow! Sounds like Ryuko is giving it her all!

(Y/N): Which means that we'll have more to clean. Come on!

When Mako and Y/N walked to the next hallway, they saw the corpses of all the students who tried to fight Tsumugu.

(Y/N): Seriously!?

Mako: Welp, they won't clean themselves up!

(Y/N): Yeah, yeah, I know. -_-

As Mako and Y/N continued cleaning they heard voices coming from the boys restroom.

Ryuko: Senketsu was...

Tsumugu: Life Fibers!

Ryuko: Trying to protect me.

Tsumugu: Are parasites!

Mako rushed in and stuck her mop in the man's back.

Mako: This uniform is the only clothing Ryuko has. And look what you've done to it. Don't you have any idea how people who only own one set of clothes feel!?

Tsumugu: Who is this?

HALLELUJAH

Mako: Ryuko loves this uniform more than anything! She's always whispering to it. Pretty creepy, huh? But that's what people who only own one set of clothes are like! Taking the clothes off the back of someone like that is the same as taking away a friend! That's right! This uniform is Ryuko's friend!

Tsumugu: People and clothing can't communicate. It's impossible for them to become friends.

Mako: They can so! Up until now, the only friends I had were in my head. But then I met Ryuko and Y/N and made real ones! A girl like that could totally make friends with clothing! More to the point, she already has!

Mako ripped Senketsu free from the needles pining him and gave it back to Ryuko.

Mako: Shame on you. You have to take better care of your friend!

Ryuko: Thank you, Mako...

Just then Y/N came through the door, Tsumugu glared at him.

Tsumugu: You!

(Y/N): You jackass...

Tsumugu readied his needle gun.

Tsumugu: Come to try an fight me?

(Y/N): Why did you put so many traps around!?

Y/N brought up a massive trash bag filled with the disarmed traps he had.

Tsumugu: How did you-!?

(Y/N): Do you know HOW many traps you set up!? There were over a dozen in this hallway alone!

Tsumugu: Uh...

(Y/N): Aaaaaand I have to clean up all the bodies in the hall! WHY IS SOMETHING LIKE THAT A THING I SHOULD BE DOING?! ...Oh, hey Ryuko.

Ryuko: H-hi Y/N...

(Y/N): Any who, let's go Mako! We still have to clean the rest of this section.

Mako: Got it! Bye Ryuko!

Mako rushed off, Y/N chased after her.

(Y/N): Mako wait! I haven't cleared that area of traps yet!

Tsumugu: ....

Tsumugu turned back around and aimed his gun at Ryuko.

Tsumugu: Where were we before we were interrupted? Right. Now, let go of it.

Ryuko: You'll have to pry him out of my cold, dead hands!

Tsumugu: You want to go through all that suffering again?

As Tsumugu was about to pull the trigger, Senketsu spoke.

Senketsu: Don't you dare lay a finger on Ryuko. Do, and I'll make you pay.

Tsumugu: Did it... talk just now? The uniform talked? These two... care for each other?

As Tsumugu processed what he just heard, the sound of drums came from behind him.

Nonon: Your battle against the Kamui was magnificent. However, I've grown bored of the melody you play. Hand over the girl.

Tsumugu: Hand over the Kamui to the likes of you?

Nonon: And turn yourself in.

Tsumugu glared at Nonon, and before she could react, he activated a smoke bomb and grenade, and escaped with Ryuko.

Outside, Mako and Y/N were sweeping the courtyard, when the explosion blew open the wall. Y/N glanced over and saw Tsumugu escape with Ryuko in his arms.

(Y/N): *smiles* Good... wait I just cleaned that area! -_-

Mako: Oooh, now we have to clean it again!

(Y/N): ...I want to die...

Later that day.

The outskirts of Honno City

Aikuro: Well done saving Matoi. I suppose this means your debt to me is repaid.

Tsumugu: That isn't enough.

Aikuro: It's plenty. Besides, I only put girls in my debt.

Tsumugu: Let me tell you two useful pieces of information. One: I'm only giving her a chance. Two: If I see things coming apart at the seams, I'll be back to rip it off her.

Aikuro: Heh. See you around, Tsumugu.

Tsumugu: One last thing.

Aikuro: Hm?

Tsumugu: That boy that hangs around Matoi, what are your plans for him?

Aikuro: Just observation, Matoi is the key to Dr. Matoi's plan.

Tsumugu: Be prepared to improvise. I get the feeling that he's going to change the game, in a big way.
