The Next Day

Honno City

COVERS silently wandered the streets of the once populated Honno City. The silence that the COVERS created was suddenly destroyed when the sound of a loud motorcycle engine echoed throughout the silent streets. The COVERS instantly turned to face the source of the noise, revealing it to be Ryuko riding a motorcycle through the streets.

Ryuko: Here I come!

The COVERS instantly started to converge on Ryuko.

Senketsu: Here they come!

Ryuko *smirk* They won't stop us! Life Fiber Synchronize: Kamui Senketsu!

Ryuko transformed and revved the motorcycle forward. As the COVERS got in her way, she'd cut them down with her Scissor Blade or run them over with the bike. As Ryuko made her way through the streets, Senketsu began to shine a bright red.

Ryuko: Hell yeah!

Senketsu: Ryuko!

Ryuko: Huh? What's wrong?

Senketsu: It's the opposite. We've never been in such good shape. You and I have become completely one! This is truly life and fiber synchronization!

Ryuko: You can say that again. This feeling is out of this world!

Explosions, caused by Ryuko, made their way up through each district of the city and eventually to the main entrance of Honnouji Academy. Ryuko bursted through the entrance, and brought her motorcycle to a stop in the center of the courtyard.

Ryuko: Ragyo Kiryuin! I've come! Just as I said I would!

At the center of the courtyard was a huge tower, with Life Fibers intertwined in its construction. As the COVERS slowly began to surround Ryuko, they stopped when a girly voice spoke out.

Nui: Amazing! You're just so wild a cool today, Ryuko!

Ryuko: *glares* Spare me the small talk, where's Y/N? I'm here to get him out of here and kick your ass.

Nui: Oh my~ so scary!

Ryuko revved the engine of her motorcycle.

Ryuko: Like I said, spare me the small talk! Bring Y/N out here and maybe I'll be quick about ending you!

Nui: *giggles* Why don't you make me?

Ryuko: Let's go, bitch!

Ryuko drove the motorcycle at Nui and started her attack against her.

Honnouji Academy Underground

Nonon: Ugh... it stinks down here...

Mataro and guts were leading three of the Elite Four through the sewers beneath the Academy. While Mataro led, Nonon and Sangeyama held their noses with sick faces on, behind them, Gamagoori carried a large bag on his back.

Mataro: Hey, you wanted to get in unnoticed.

Guts: Guts! Guts!

Nonon: Figures the slacker's little rat knows about this place...

Sanageyama: Be thankful it's the smell that's attacking and not any of those COVERS.

Nonon: Shut up monkey.

Gamagoori: Silence! We need to be quiet!

Nonon: Your yelling doesn't help!

Sangeyama: Wait... You hear that?

The group stopped and heard the explosions overhead.

Gamagoori: I guess Matoi has made her entrance...

Nonon: Let's hurry this up, I don't want the trouble-maker to take all the credit!

Mataro: We're almost there.

Honnouji Academy Service Entrance

As COVERS slowly floated around the large garage, two shadowy figures dashed by each of them unseen.

Tsumugu: (whisper) Two more by the door.

Satsuki nodded and threw a rock away from the door, drawing the COVERS towards the noise.

Satsuki: (whisper) Now.

The two managed to rush into the service door and thus into the Academy.

Satsuki: The easy part is over. Now comes the most crucial moments...

Tsumugu: Right.

Both Satsuki and Tsumugu unzipped the back packs they had on and pulled out plastic explosives.

Satsuki: You know what to do.

Tsumugu: Let's get this done.

Both nodded to each other and dashed down different hallways deeper into the academy.

Honnouji Academy Schoolyard

Ryuko and Nui clashed in the center of the schoolyard, both seemingly evenly matched.

Nui: Wow, so fast!

Ryuko: I'm not done yet!

The fight between the two women grew more and more intense, the COVERS that were too close ended up getting shredded to ribbons.

Nui: Say, Ryuko... aren't you lonely?

Ryuko: What!?

Nui: You believed you were human, but inside you are the same Life Fibers you considered your enemy. So, who exactly are your allies? Who exactly are your enemies? Is there any human out there who can understand you?

Ryuko: Yes there is.

Nui: Huh?

Ryuko: *smirk* Being human was never about what you are, but who you are! It doesn't matter what I am! I have a group of friends and family who care about me and I care about them!

Nui: But-

Ryuko: Face it bitch, your mind games won't work on me.

Ryuko gained the upper hand and managed to kick Nui away from her.

Ryuko: I'm here to get Y/N back, and nothing you say will change my mind!

Nui: You!-

Ragyo: My, my~ You've become so determined.

A bright light shone down from the top of Honnouji Academy's huge tower, revealing Ragyo.

Ryuko: Hmph. So you've finally shown yourself...

Ragyo slowly began to walk down the tower's stairs towards the school yard.

Ragyo: I'm so impressed by your abilities, my daughter...

Ryuko: Cut the crap! Where's Y/N!?

Ragyo: Straight to the point hm? Very well.

Suddenly the school yard opened up revealing a huge stage, similar to the one used at the Grand Culture and Sports Festival. At the center of the stage was Y/N, chained to the same cross Ragyo was impaled on during the festival.

Ryuko: Y/N!!!!!

Y/N didn't respond, his head was slumped down like he was unconscious.

Senketsu: He's wearing that Kamui again...

Ryuko: Y/N!!! You whore! What did you do to him!?

Ragyo: It was so horrifying. I found him, bloodied and beaten in the middle of the city, I just had to show him some "hospitality".

Ryuko: He's not even moving! What sort of "hospitality" did you give him!?

Ragyo: *giggles* One fit for a hero~

Ryuko: I'm going to tear you apart!!!

As Ryuko charge at Ragyo, she was stopped by Nui.

Nui: We haven't finished our play date!

Ryuko: Grrrr!

Above the schoolyard, looking down from one of the windows of the Academy, Satsuki surveyed the grounds. After the stage was brought up, and revealed Y/N, she reached for her radio.

Satsuki: Y/N located. Is everyone in position?

Beneath the school grounds Gamagoori, Mataro, and Guts, sat patiently.

Gamagoori: Yes my Lady! All charges are set, and we await your signal.

On one of the massive walls surrounding Honnouji Academy, Tsumugu set up his sniper rifle.

Tsumugu: I've planted by charges, and have set up position. All good here.

At one of the ground level entrances to the school yard, Nonon and Sanageyama readied themselves.

Nonon: Me and monkey are also finished and awaiting your signal.

Satsuki: Good. Inumuta, are you ready on your end?

Back aboard the S.S. Naked Sun, Inumuta and Aikuro were in the control room, coordinating the operation.

Inumuta: Yes, we have a target lock.

Aikuro: Give the word.

Satsuki took one more look at Y/N.

Satsuki: Alright, do it.

Back in the school yard Ryuko was trying her best to push past Nui, but was unable to do so.

Ryuko: Get out of the way, you bitch!

Nui: Hahaha! No way! We've got so much catching up to do!

Ragyo: Why stay with those humans? We are TRUE family, you should come with us.

Ryuko: No way!

Senketsu: Ryuko!

Ryuko: Huh? Is it time? Alright.

Ryuko pushed away from Nui gaining some distance from her.

Nui: Aww. Why are you running away?

Ryuko: *smirk* You have bigger problems. *points up*

Nui looked up and saw a large missile directly in front of her.

Nui: Eh?

The missile collided with Nui and a huge explosion filled the yard. Ragyo avoided the full force of the blast by using some nearby COVERS as a shield.

Ragyo: Hm.

A heartbeat later, another set of explosions bursted through the walls and ground. Instead of a regular explosion, however, a white mist spread throughout the arena.

Ragyo: What is-?

Suddenly the COVERS surrounding Ragyo began to freeze and fall over.

Satsuki: This is the fruit of those you call humans!

Inumuta: Iori's Life Fiber Tranquilizer Coagulant. While not as potent, it will serve it's purpose for this operation.

Ragyo: Do you think I'll let you do as you plea- *bang*

Ragyo was cut off as Tsumugu began to fire his Life Fiber tipped bullets at her. While she was distracted by the volley of bullets coming at her, Ryuko took the opportunity to strike.

Ryuko: Eat this!

Ryoko swung her Scissor Blade at Ragyo, and while she still managed to block it, she was sent flying away from the stage.

Satsuki: Gamagoori!

Gamagoori: Yes!

Gamagoori bursted from beneath the school yard and made it to where Y/N was chained up.

Gamagoori: Extracting (L/N)!

As Ragyo recovered, Satsuki stood on the stage with Ryuko.

Satsuki: Remember this day! Ragyo Kiryuin! The day mere humans bested you!

Ragyo: So, you didn't come alone...

Ryuko: What? Did you think I'd be dumb enough to come here by myself!? Idiot. Like I said, I have a whole family to help me! Now we're taking Y/N, and you get nothing!

Ragyo dusted herself off and looked at her daughters.

Ragyo: *smirk* Are you really?~

Ryuko: What the hell are you smiling abou-

Gamagoori: GAAAH!

BOOM

Ryuko and Satsuki were caught off guard when they heard Gamagoori scream and then fly straight into the wall of the school yard.

Satsuki: What!?

As the smoke cleared, it is revealed that the one who struck Gamagoori was Y/N.

Ryuko: ...Y/N?

Y/N stood for a moment longer before his hair began to change color to silver, and Reiketsu's eye shot open. The would be rescuers froze in their tracks as they watched Y/N stand silently, his eyes were glazed over, his normal hair was now silver, and his face was had no emotion on it.

Ragyo: *smiles* Go, Y/N~

(Y/N): Yes.

Y/N lifted his arm to reveal a needle in his hand.

Ryuko: No...

(Y/N): Life Fiber Command...

Satsuki: Everyone get back!

(Y/N): Kamui Reiketsu!

In a flash of light Reiketsu consumed Y/N's body and transformed into a suit of armor.

LIFE FIBER COMMAND: KAMUI REIKETSU

Ryuko: Y/N!!!

Senketsu: Ryuko, We need to get back!

Ragyo: If you would, Y/N.

(Y/N): Yes... My lady...

Y/N lifted his left foot and then slammed it down on the stage, causing a huge shockwave to send debris and people flying away.

Satsuki: AGH!!

Ryuko: GAH!!

When the dust cleared, the schoolyard had a massive crater where the stage used to be. Slowly walking out of the crater, Y/N stood before Ryuko and Satsuki, looking at them.

Ryuko: Y-Y/N...

Satsuki: Y/N, it's us! Stop this!

Ragyo: *laughs* This is very amusing.

Ragyo appeared behind Y/N and wrapped her arms around him. She placed her head on his shoulder and caressed his chest. She smiled as she looked at the expressions her daughters made.

Ragyo: He's mine now~

Ryuko: You bitch!

Satsuki: Truly, you are a monster without equal.

Ragyo: You wound me.

Ragyo smiled and then whispered into Y/N's ear.

Ragyo: (whispers) I want Ryuko, kill the other one.

(Y/N): Your will... my... command...

Y/N began to march toward Ryuko and Satsuki, his fists clenched and an intimidating aura radiated from him.

Satsuki: Ryuko, we need to retreat.

Ryuko: What!? There's no way I'm leaving him like that!

Satsuki: Ryuko-!

Ryuko dashed at Y/N, Scissor Blade in hand.

Ryuko: Y/N! You IDIO- ACK!!!

Y/N dashed forward and gripped Ryuko by the neck, before she could even react.

Ryuko: *choking* Y-Y/N! *gasp*

Y/N didn't respond and and started to squeeze her neck.

Ryuko: *gasp* I can't- *choking* breath!

Senketsu: Ryuko!

Satsuki: Tch! Tsumugu!

Tsumugu: Roger!

Tsumugu fired a shot at Y/N's head, the bullet hit Y/N directly in the head, but all it did was cause him to turn to where the bullet came from.

Tsumugu: Uh oh...

Still choking Ryuko Y/N picked up a large block of cement and tossed it toward Tsumugu.

Tsumugu: Shit!

BOOM

The rock tore away a huge section of the wall where Tsumugu was previously, luckily he barely managed to dodge it.

Satsuki: Y/N!

While Y/N's head was turned, Satsuki attempted to attack him i his blind spot. Before she could even register what happened, Y/N caught Satsuki by the neck and squeezed, hard.

Satsuki: GAH!! *choking*

Ragyo smiled sadistically as she watched Y/N slowly choke her daughters in his hands.

Ryuko: *choking* Sen- *gasp* -ketsu!

Senketsu: Ryuko!

Senketsu transformed into his bladed form and extended one of the blades at Y/N's arms. This caused Y/N to let go of the two girls and take a few steps back.

Ryuko *cough* Thanks *cough* Senketsu! *breathes*

Satsuki: *cough* We *cough* we need to leave! Now!

Ryuko: I'm not leaving him!

Satsuki: Matoi!

Senketsu: Satsuki is right! We need to retreat!

Ryuko: Shut up! I promised I'd get him out of here, so that's what I'm going to do!

Ryuko dashed at Y/N again, this time she preemptively swung her blade at him. Y/N raised his arm and blocked the blade, using his other hand punched Ryuko in the face, sending her into the wall.

Ryuko: AGH!!!!

Satsuki: Ryuko!

Y/N then turned his attention to Satsuki, she attempted to strike at Y/N who merely dodged and once again grabbed her by the neck.

Satsuki: *choking* Y-Y/N!!

Y/N slowly squeezed Satsuki's neck, causing her to struggle in his grip. Satsuki could no longer breath and began to lose consciousness.

Sanageyama: Lady Satsuki!

Nonon: Lady Satsuki!

From behind Y/N, Sanageyama and Nonon jumped at Y/N from behind. Both brandished their weapons in an attempt to free Satsuki.

Nonon: Let go you stupi-!

Y/N spun around and struck the two of them away, sending them flying to the other end of the arena.

Ryuko: *pant* Y/N! Your opponent is me!

Y/N looked to where Ryuko was and then turned his attention back to Satsuki. Satsuki was now weakly struggling in his grip.

Satsuki: *choking* .....S-......Stop.......

After holding her for a moment longer, Y/N brought Satsuki up and then slammed her into the ground where he stood, this caused another explosion of force.

Ryuko: SATSUKI!

Satsuki: AGH!

Sanageyama: L-Lady Satsuki!

Nonon: Satsuki!

Ragyo's smile grew wider at watching Y/N's brutal way of dispatching her daughter. Even Nui, who had recovered from the missile, was enjoying herself.

Ragyo: Magnificent!~

Nui: *giggles* Oh my!

Ryuko gritted her teeth as Y/N walked out of the crater her made and started to walk towards her.

Ryuko: I guess you're not joking around anymore...

Senketsu: Ryuko, this isn't like back at the festival...

Ryuko: I know. Heh. I actually miss his dumbass comments.

Senketsu: Ryuko... You know we can't possibly win against him...

Ryuko: I know... I just... I can't leave him...

Senketsu: Ryuko.

Ryuko: I said I was going to get him out...

Senketsu: Alright, but be prepared, this will be far from easy.

Sanageyama and Nonon, looked in shock as they saw Y/N choke-slam Satsuki into the ground with more than enough force to kill her.

Nonon: Satsuki!!!

Sanageyama: Lady Sats- Ack!!! *grips side*

Both, Sanageyama and Nonon, were injured from when they were sent flying away.

Tsumugu: (on radio) I called for extraction! We need to get out of here! Now!

Nonon: We need to find Satsuki!

Sanageyama: Yeah! I won't- Ack!!!

Aikuro: (on radio) You're both too wounded to do anything else! A huge swarm of COVERS are coming your way! You need to leave!

Nonon: I'm not-

Tsumugu: (on radio) We have no choice! I grabbed Gamagoori already, he's still out cold. Now's your last chance, get to the extraction point.

As Nonon was about to leave, she looked back and saw Sanageyama struggling to stand.

Sanageyama: *pant* He hit me pretty hard... *pant* don't worry about me, find Lady Satsuki! *pant*

Nonon looked to where Satsuki was thrown and then saw the huge swarm of COVERS in the sky.

Nonon: *grits teeth* Let's go, monkey!

Sanageyama: What about-!?

Nonon: Shut up before I change my mind!

The two members of the Elite Four made their way to the extraction helicopter and escaped.

Y/N stood in front of Ryuko, silently, the only noise Y/N made was from his very quiet breathing.

Ryuko: Y/N... Can you hear me?...

Y/N didn't move nor respond.

Ryuko: ...Y/N, I-

Y/N disappeared the instant Ryuko spoke.

Ryuko: !?

Ryuko darted her eyes around her to find where Y/N had went. Moments later, Y/N appeared behind Ryuko and kicked her in the back.

Ryuko: AGH!!!

While Ryuko was still in mid-air Y/N appeared in the way of her trajectory and uppercut her towards the sky. Ryuko attempted to recover, but Y/N appeared again and struck her in a different direction. Y/N juggled Ryuko around in the air, landing punches and kicks onto her body.

Ryuko: AGH!!! *hit* AH- *hit* Sto- *hit*

Y/N juggled her around for a few more seconds, and then grabbed her by her leg and spiked to straight down into the floor. Ryuko landed with a huge BOOM, and created a small crater. As she looked up she saw Y/N's fist flying right at her. With another loud explosion, Y/N's fist landed directly into Ryuko's stomach.

Ryuko: AAAAGH!!!!!

Nui: Oh my! What a lovely sound!

Nui made it back to Ragyo's side, who watched with bliss, as Y/N hit Ryuko hard enough for her to scream in pain.

Back with Y/N, he once again grabbed Ryuko by the neck, and lifted her up into the air. Ryuko was no longer transformed, and her Scissor Blade landed outside the crater. She weakly struggled against Y/N's grip.

Ryuko: *wheeze* ...Y/N.... *pant* ...please.... *wheeze*

Y/N didn't respond in any way.

Ragyo: Y/N!

Y/N looked toward Ragyo.

Ragyo: Get my daughter out of those "unfashionable* clothes.

Y/N turned back to Ryuko still struggling in his grip.

Ryuko: *wheeze* ....Y/N... don't do this.... *wheeze*

Y/N grabbed the uniform's collar, Senketsu watched in fear at Y/N was about to do.

Ryuko: *pant* Don't-!

Y/N, with a loud ripping sound, tore Senketsu from Ryuko's body.

Senketsu: AAAAAAAGHHHHHHHH!!!!

Ryuko: STOP!!

In a matter of seconds, Senketsu was torn away completely. Y/N held the shredded uniform for a moment longer, and then tossed it aside. The moment Ryuko was out of Senketsu, Ragyo flicked her finger and dozens of Life Fibers pulled at Ryuko, extending her limbs outward.

Ryuko: S- ACK! -Sen-Senketsu!

Senketsu: R-....Ryuko!

Ragyo hoisted Ryuko into the air.

Ragyo: Hmmm~ Ah. I know... Y/N, destroy that piece of trash of a Kamui.

Nui: Oooooooooh~ I know! Use her own Scissor Blade!

Ryuko: No! Y/N!

(Y/N): Yes.

Senketsu watched in horror, as Y/N grabbed Ryuko's Scissor Blade and brought it over his head.

Senketsu: No! Stop!

Ragyo smiled as she watched Y/N bring down the Scissor Blade.

Senketsu: DON'T-!!!!

BOOM

Another large explosion kicked the dust up into the air. The last thing Senketsu saw, was the red Scissor Blade.

Ryuko: SENKETSU!!!!!!!!

Satsuki watched in complete shock, and tears flowed down Ryuko's face, as Y/N climbed out of the cloud of dust, Scissor Blade in hand.

Ragyo: Hahahaha! Excellent! Excellent! That was beautiful Y/N!

Nui: That was amazing!

Ryuko: ...Senketsu...

Ryuko silently cried as she watched Y/N bowed and revert to his dormant form. She was brought out of her trance when, the Fibers restraining her, pulled tighter.

Ryuko: AGH!!!!

Ragyo: Don't be sad, you're my precious daughter, and I can't have you wearing a cheap outfit like that Senketsu.

Ryuko struggled fruitlessly and her restraints.

Ragyo: If you're going to wear clothes, you should make them the very best.

Ryuko: Stop it!

Ragyo: Godrobe Junketsu! That is the garment that bests suits you.

A bright blew light engulfed the whole arena. Junketsu closed in around Ryuko, forcing her to wear it. Ryuko struggled as Junketsu tightened around her.

Ragyo: Entrust your heart to Junketsu, Ryuko~

With a huge flash of light, Ragyo weaved her Life Fibers into Ryuko, altering her mind. Memories started to flood back to Ryuko, each of them showed different times of her past. Slowly however, each one changed slightly. Ragyo was slowly altering Ryuko's memories to make it appear as though she was the one to raise her, and that she was her perfect child.

Ryuko: ...Mama?

Ragyo: Yes. that is your happiness, the good fortune of being worn by clothing!

After a huge flash of light, the last of Ryuko's resistance disappeared and Junketsu fully fused with her.

Ryuko: Ah...

Nui: My! My! You look amazing Ryuko!

Ragyo: Indeed~ You look extravagant, my daughter.

Ryuko: Thank you... Mother. 

After a moment, Ryuko picked Nui up and brought her to her face.

Nui: Your not still mad about your father, are you?

Ryuko responded by bringing Nui closer and kissing her. Ragyo smiled at her daughter's show affection. When she finally broke the kiss, Nui giggled. Ryuko smiled and then looked at Y/N, who stood at attention beside them. 

Ryuko: I've been waiting for this one...

Ryuko walked up to him and brought him in for a kiss.

Ragyo: Oh?~

Nui: Awwww.

Ryuko kissed Y/N for a few more moments before letting go. Y/N showed no reaction to Ryuko's sudden show of affection.

Ryuko: That felt good... *smiles* That was worth the wait...

Ragyo: *giggles* He's yours if you so choose~

Ryuko: Really?

Ragyo: What sort of mother would I be if I got in the way of my daughter's courting?

Ryuko: *looks at Y/N* Thank you, mother...

Rei: Forgive me, I could not capture Satsuki or her conspirators, but we managed to track them back to their ship.

Ragyo: Excellent.

Ryuko: ...Satsuki?

Ragyo: Yes~ I want you to go.

Ryuko: *smirk* I gotcha, mother.

Ryuko flew off toward her former friends. As she flew off, Ragyo, Nui, Rei and Y/N watched her leave.

Rei: Lady Ryuko has finally awakened.

Ragyo: Life Fibers are most active when the host's life is in danger. Regardless of how deeply Souchirou sealed them away. Subjecting the host to an intense near-death experience makes it incredibly easy to awaken them.

Ragyo glanced at Y/N when she spoke about the intense near-death experience.

Ragyo: Hououmaru, have all employees gather at REVOCS headquarters. I'll head to the mansion, the climax is finally upon us.~

Nui: I'm getting goosebumps! Time to put a wrap on what I've been working on!

As Nui jumped off, Y/N looked back at the crater he made of Senketsu and Satsuki. After a moment, Y/N turned around, and followed behind Nui.
