"A very fine good morning sir, your appointment with Dr. Uzma got fixed for today at 11'o clock am. Thank you for consulting. Have a great day and she hung up the phone".

Arohi, Arohi, Arooohiiii.... Naksh started screaming.

Hearing him screaming her name, Arohi got frightened and immediately rushed towards her bedroom. Finding him all well *thank god* she asked breathlessly, "what's the need to scream? You took my breathe away. We all got so worried thinking something wrong happened with you and meanwhile all were up to look for him, all fine or not". Later after getting assured of his wellness, all went back doing what they were or they had to and then, Naksh came closer to Arohi and asked, "to get ready soon". "Ready? she puzzled".

He, then, started bursting all her doubt bubbles little by little softly saying, "as we planned to take our marriage to a next level, I want us to get done with all the medical tests, so that we get to know, 'how healthy are we'?". Before she could utter a word, he interrupted her in the middle, "I know Mango, all will be well and the doctor whom we're consulting is an old friend of mine. We studied together and then, she completed her medical in  gynecology specialization and I, in cardiology so fret not, just calm and relax and else leave it on god. Whatever he chosen for us will be good for us." Trust him....

Few days later-

Naksh phone rings up twice, this time he attended the call... 

Naksh- "Hey Uzma.... Wassup"?

Dr. Uzma- "All good here. well... Can I have a word with you"?

Naksh- "Sure say, what's the matter? How may I help you"?

Dr. Uzma- "Do you mind if I ask you to meet me tomorrow morning in the hospital along with Arohi, please, she pleaded".

Naksh- "No need to plead, Uzma. I'm your patient this time, you can directly order me, he said and asked, "why are you sounding so stressed? Tell me please".

Dr. Uzma- "I will, Naksh but tomorrow morning, and don't you dare forget to meet up along with Arohi. I need to have a word with both of you, regarding your reports, and I think Arohi must need to know about it".

Naksh_- "Pretty please, Uzma. You killing me, he begged".

Dr. Uzma- "Just be patient. Relax and meet up along with Arohi, sharp by 12:30 pm. By the time I be done with my other patients and she hung up the call saying, buh bye, see ya tomorrow".

"The call got disconnected but he was still connected with her words, recalling what she said again and again, stressing over it so much, trying to find meanings of her words so hard, that he couldn't able to close his eyes for a single minute, and so he stayed up all night. The more the night getting darker, the more his thoughts, rewinding her words in his brain.

"It wasn't even 12'o clock and he was already up there along with Arohi, right infront of her Dr. Uzma's consulting room, scared, frightened and bit jittery too. He even keeps an eye on his watch continuosly since the moment he entered". Arohi kept on asking him since last night, "what has happened to you?" He kept ignoring her question and if answers then, in one word saying, "nothing". 

"Finally, the moment came up, which Naksh was eagerly waiting for, the receptionist calls out their name and now it was the time to have a face-to-face conversation with Dr. Uzma". They stood up, proceed towards the consulting room and entered smiling, Arohi, whereas Naksh still tensed."

She asked, them, "to be seated and minute later, handed reports of their both to Naksh and gave him his time to go through the reports carefully". While on the other hand, she asked Arohi, "did she met with an accident lately? She nodded her head in approval".

Naksh appalled seeing the reports. He checked twice, then thrice to be assure and found Dr. Uzma already looking at him when raised his head up. Dr. Uzma blinked in consolation, saying nothing but assuring him, all will be well, soon. 

Dr. Uzma said, "now that even Naksh too, is aware about it and now it's your time to be, lemme be very clear especially to you, Arohi.  Please listen to me very very carefully". Firstly, stop looking to Naksh, as he too got to knew about it now itself. I can understand his situation. 

Arohi found Naksh in tears and she sniffed out the smell of something abysmal in the room so she asked, "Dr. Uzma, he ain't gonna say me anything so I request you to please let me know, what is so bad about the reports?"

Actually... Dr. Uzma speaks up and stopped in the middle, looking to Naksh, as he was silently pleading her, to not to say anything to her but being a doctor, she had to let her know about the situation so she continued, look.. Arohi, the thing that is disturbing the peace of us is about you especially, as far as Naksh reports, he's both physical as well as mentally healthy and stable but not you, my dear". 

"What's so horrifying in my reports", she panicked. "Why are you guys making it so complicated? Just blurt out, please".

 Dr. Uzma vividly started to explain her her  reports. She said, "it seems like just because of your recent accident you've got an injury in your uterus and due to that you aren't able to conceive, not now, not in future too, as there's a minute chance of you conceiving, which is nearly next to impossible, can call it a miracle if it did, and also if you did you'll come across to umpteenth complications, so I advise you to chose recent advance technique of medical in this case like surrogacy or IVF or you want you can try adoption too. Now it's upto  you both to chose which way".

 Arohi petrified and was total blank. She neither could believe on what she heard nor believe on her eyes, what they saw in her reports. She, deeply wished it to be a printing blunder but it wasn't. She anyhow manage not to cry because Naksh was already wiping his tears silently without facing her. She stood up to leave and just then Dr. Uzma stopped her , "I  can't feel your pain but I do understand it, Arohi and a tear rolled out from her eyes listening to this". Dr.Uzma added saying, "personally I don't advise people but in your case, stop crying now Naksh, dude you cardiologist and crying like a patient does in pain, you mad af, look at me you both and listen, I don't advise my patients to take such risks but I want you both to take up the risk of those minute chances, it worth out in most of the cases after all it's just an injury but again, it's risky. I recommend her some medicines but decisions is all yours and I will pray for you both and they left".

On their way to home, none of them spoke up to each other, trying to accept the fact but it indeed, is too bitter to. 

Life always challenges us hard, not to break us but infact to make us more strong, more confident to face the world but it's upto us, how to cope up such difficulties in life, either in a positive way to make up the solution, or in a negative way to broke down into pieces.

Imagine making a castle out of a sand, you planned out your life living in it and then, suddenly a heavy water flow comes up and took away your castle with it and when it's gone, you find your castle too, vanish. Guess how'll you feel.....? Just the same they feeling or may be more, can't describe in words. How excruciating it be for Arohi.

Next day, early morning Naksh packed up his bag and went to attend a seminar, leaving a note for Arohi. Arohi woke up, looked for Naksh, hither and tither but was out of her sight and  there, she found a note on the dressing table, written in it, "I apologize to leave you alone in this situation but have to attend the seminar, as it too important. You please, I beg you to take care of yourself and I be back in three days. Please don't cry, Mango". P.S: Sorry again, do take care and love ya.

Alone, now she felt like crying and she burst out in tears. She controlled her emotions a lot and a lot but not anymore, so she burst out. She cried, and cried and cried a river and called Samaira, her sister. She narrated her the whole story and requested her, not to shared this with Mom, please. Samaira distraught and said, "please don't cry. we all are here for you and I'm coming to see you tomorrow. All will be fine.Just trust god and don't cry. She calmed her alot and later hung up the phone".

On the following day, again she looked at her reports and started crying again too. Now she called her, 'pearl in an ocean', her nieces, Kyra and Anvisha. As soon she heard a hello from the other side, she sob and hearing her voice, Kyra started asking,"what happen Maasi? why are you crying?" Kyra handed the phone to her mother, listening the whole, her eldest sister advised, "not to worry. There will come out a way. If there's a problem there be a solution, too. Just be patient and trust god.

Here, the same was with Naksh, too, was there physically but mentally still thinking about it, about Arohi, he couldn't able to concentrate anywhere. So, he went out of his hotel room for a short walk near sea-side, sat down near to it, feeling the serenity of the view and then, he saw a kid smiling back to him. He was playing hide and seek with his mother and now it came his turn to hide from his mother and started running but then, he fall down.  RIght at the moment he fall, his mother screamed in pain than the kid himself and came near running to him and asked, "did you got hurt? I'm so sorry and she checked for any wound and *thank god* there wasn't any".

The scene hit him harder than the bus. He, now actually can feel, how much pain Arohi will be in but still not expressing her pain. He, on the spot booked a plane ticket and on his way to home, he mailed an apology letter to his administrator and within next 5 hours, he reached home.

He, surprised Arohi with his presence and directly went near and hugged her tightly, asking an apology that he left her all alone in such a cruel situation, but was necessary that's why. You know, Mango.. "I don't care about anything except you. All I need is you. I don't need a kid as a proof of our 'love symbol'. We're happy and will be, I promise he said, making a puppy face".

But Naksh.... Arohi uttered. No but and all Arohi, Naksh said heavily.

"Naksh, I've made up my mind. I want our kid", Arohi requested. She added saying, "you remember Dr. Uzma said, at least for once we should give it a try and I'm having my medicines time-to-time. I'm ready to take up the risk, Naksh".

"What? Gone nuts? No way... No means No. A clear and a big NO, Arohi. I am not going to risk your life in danger, he refused".

"Please Naksh Please... be little positive. Think what if it'll worth out? she said with a glimmer in her eyes".

"And what if it doesn't? I can't afford to lose you in any cost, Mango... Trynna understand. You're too precious for me than anything, be it this also, and I can't danger your life just to have a kid. Please don't act like kid just to have a kid, he ordered".

"I totally agree with you, Apple-Pie. Be positive and I'm sure god will do all well, just testing our patience. And if a single complication you find then I promise you, I do whatever you say, but pretty please, hope for the best from god, she assured him".

After alot of discussion, Naksh finally bow down and said a YES, just to see her happy. all he want is, she to be happy, forever and ever and rest all doesn't matter.
