Y/n Pov 9 years old

Yang was 10, Y/n was 9, and Ruby was 8

I was down in my 'room' as they call it, while it was actually the basement, after another beating from my da- I mean Tai. After my only good sister Ruby panicked after she accidentally broke a lamp when playing with my other sis- I mean Yang. I know she doesn't do it on purpose, Yang on the other hand would tell Tai that I hit her or broke something and even sometimes join in on the beatings. My uncle Qrow was very kind to me, he would teach me little hand to hand when he visits, he would even stop the beatings even if he got hit in the process.

Y/n: I bet you lovey readers would love to know why the Xiao Longs of my family started this abuse, so I'm gonna tell you. I bet you're also wondering why I know Ruby doesn't do those things to hurt me on purpose.

Flashback 

Yang was 6, Y/n was 5, and Ruby was 4

Everyone was wishing mom good luck on her mission. I was the last to say something.

Y/n: Mommy kill all the bad grimm so people can be happy.

I ment that, but I would soon regret saying that in time.

Summer/Mom: Sure thing my little Thorn, I want everyone to be happy. Even you.

She ruffled my blonde red tipped hair while saying this. She opened the door saying the last thing we will ever hear her say.

Summer/Mom: Bye everyone I love you.

Timeskip one month since mom left

Mom hasn't come back yet and I was wondering when she would be back. So I went to dad and asked him. I saw him in the kitchen making dinner. So I walked up to him and asked.

Y/n: Daddy when will mommy be back?

Tai: Don't worry she'll be back soon I'm sure.

I put a smile on my face and went outside to play with Ruby and Yang.

But that will be the last time he was that kind to me.

Timeskip one month later

It was horrible a week after dad gets a message saying mom was dead. After while I was getting abused by Tai and Yang and they were saying it was my fault that mom died. I was in my old room laying on the floor bloodied and bruised after a beating from Tai.

Tai: Now stay up here and think about what you did to your sister! And don't lie to me again! And forget about dinner tonight.

He slammed the door as he left. I just layed there not moving just staring at the door as it slowly turned night. Soon I heard the door slowly opening, I was expecting Tai or Yang to beat me more. I sighed in relief when Ruby came in with the first aid kit which was the size of her torso at the time. She found out the week after it started. She started noticing the cuts and bruises. I would lie and say I got the cuts from playing and the bruises from falling downstairs or running into the door. She believed me at first and left it at that but she walked on Tai beating me and joined in scared thinking he would do it to her if she doesn't. After that she was slightly hurt that I wouldn't tell her the truth but shrugged it off and would patch me up late at night ever since. She layed the first aid kit down next to me about to open it before we hear Yang coming. 

Yang: Ruby foods ready.

Ruby quickly hides the kit under my bed and as she was about to leave when Yang entered the room and saw us.

Yang: Ruby you beating this loser? Can I join?

Ruby: Uh yeah.

The both walk up to me and started kicking me. 

Y/n: Please stop.

It was a good minute before they stopped and went downstairs to eat without me. After a long wait I heard everyone come up to most likely to go to bed. I waited for Ruby since she never forgets about me which she didn't. She quietly opened the door and came with food. She set the food down next to me and got the first aid kit from under the bed as I try to get up.

Ruby: Big bwother, pwease don't get up it will hurt more.

I just lay back down as she just opens the kit and starts bandaging everything that wouldn't be visible which was under my clothes. Which I was wearing a long sleeve f/c and black pants. She quickly takes off my clothes minus my underwear and started patching me up. She was getting better at doing it since she only started almost two weeks ago. She finished as I finish the food she brought. 

Ruby: I'm so sawwy big bwother for hurting you again.

Y/n: It's ok you're just scared of it happening to you.

Ruby: Can I sleep wiv you big bwother?

Y/n: What if they find out?

Ruby: Pwease. *doing puppy eyes*

Y/n: Fine.

Let's just say the next day they were mad and they put their rage to me and again Ruby had to help in the beating again. After that incident I was moved to the basement.

Timeskip one year later

At this point I would have to do everything from cooking to cleaning to doing dishes. It didn't help that Yang would mess up the room I just cleaned or breaking a dish or two when I was doing them, but when she really wanted me to get beaten badly she would trip me and make me spill the food I make on Tai or Ruby. When it's Tai, he beats me much worse then ever. One day uncle Qrow walked in and saw me getting beat and stepped in only to get Tai's fury when his punching bag time gets interrupted but Qrow did beat him barely. He told me if he could take me away from here he would but he is always on missions so he couldn't properly take care of me. Which only made me sad that he couldn't take me away from this place. But he said when everyone leaves he would teach me to fight hand to hand. And let's just say he and Tai aren't all buddy buddy since then. 

The present

Y/n: And that brings us to here dear readers or should I say me?

Author: Ok can you stop breaking the fourth wall now.

Y/n: Why didn't you stop me earlier?

Author: Because I was going to tell them anyway but you beat me to it.

Y/n: Can I do it again at some point?

Author: Depends I may allow it at some points but for now can you get back in your bloodied body.

Y/n: Fine .*muttering* I liked that I wasn't hurting like I have in four years.

Author: You know I heard that.

He looks back at the Author and noticed the blue wolf ears.

Y/n: When were you a faunus?

Author: Since I like the faunus and that they actually get some abilities and/or enhanced senses from what faunus they are. Also I would always pretend to be a dog or wolf when I was a kid. And you got me rambling now go through the fucking hole in the fourth wall and get in your damn body.

Y/n: Ok ok fine mom.

Author: In a way I am. And stick to the personality I give you.

Y/n: Fuck you mom.

Author: Why am I agruing with myself?

Y/n: You're not arguing with yourself, you're arguing with me.

The Author just stands there with a deadpanned expression on his face. He then notices the wall had a bigger hole behind me.

Author: GET IN YOU'RE FUCKING BODY!!!

With that I rushed through the hole and before I fully got in I look back at the wall and one thought crossed my mind.

Y/n: NOW THAT'S A LOT OF DAMAGE!

The forth wall completely shatters.

Author: FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!

With that I get in and time resumes. Which I hear the door to the basement open showing Ruby with sad eyes. I get up and painfully walk over to her.

Ruby: I'm so sorry I did that Y/n. I panicked and blamed you, I'm so so sorry.

Y/n: Ruby we go over this every time I don't mind you're just scared.

Ruby: I'm not scared.

Y/n: Tai's behind you and heard everything.

Ruby just jumped and ran behind me.

Ruby: Please don't hurt me dad.

I just lightly chuckle as full on laughing would hurt and get the others attention. But I wasn't safe from Ruby punching my arm as she could hear me.

Y/n: Ok I deserve that.

Author: Thanks for the supplies for the wall readers.

Ruby looked around, she must have heard that.

Ruby: Did you hear something big brother.

Y/n: Um no no I didn't.*whispers low to the point to where Ruby could barely hear it* Shut up.

Ruby: You say something big bro.

Author: Damnit you broke the fourth bricks I was going to use for the frame.

Y/n: *Whispers* Oops.

Author: There goes the fourth wall glass.

Y/n: *Whispers* Sorry Author.

Author: And the lifetime supply of fourth wall duct tape just exploded.

Y/n: *Whispers* I'm just gonna stop taking to you or direct my words towards the reader/Author.

Author: That wasn't to bad one thing of flex seal exploded buuuut it was in my face.

The author notices that Ruby was looking around frantically trying to find the noise.

Author: Right random characters other then Y/n can barely hear me or understand me with the fourth wall completely destroyed.

I faceplam when he says this.

Ruby: Seriously how do you not hear that Y/n?

Y/n: Could be the slight draft coming from the outside door to here.

Ruby: Maybe you're right.

Y/n: So is there anything else you need?

Ruby: Oh yeah Dad wanted you to make dinner.

Y/n: Right I'll go do that.

We both go up to the living room, I head to the kitchen. As for Ruby she went upstairs to play with Yang. When I get in there and I get a fist to the face knocking me to the ground. I look to the direction it came from and saw Tai with a slightly angered expression.

Tai: Finally thought you worthless piece of shit would never come. I was just about to go down there and beat some sense into you and bring you up here myself. Maybe even beat a bit of it into Ruby too for taking so long.

We he said he would do it to Ruby something inside me snapped. I make a fist and punch him straight in the gut and it actually did something. But it was short lived as Tai hit me again sending to the counter.

Y/n: I don't get why mom would ever marry such an abusive ass-

I was cut off by a knife going across my left eye blinding it. I screamed in so much pain. Which got the attention of Ruby and Yang. Ruby was look at you with wide eyes, while Yang cheered Tai on. Ruby did cheer him on too but wasn't very enthusiastic.

Yang: Go dad beat the loser's butt more.

Ruby: Yeah, dad beat him.

Tai stabbed my leg and picked me up and threw me out the back door he went up to me grabbed the knife and stabbed the same leg again, which made me scream in pain again. He punched my face more he continue till I was barely conscious. I barely hear Tai before he went back inside.

Tai: Your staying out here tonight you piece of shit.

I blacked out. I wake up, it was still night. I felt like shit. But I felt like something was pulling me towards the forest I was too tired to care so I follow it and this trance however when I reach it I find some gold looking gauntlet having its fist dug into the ground. I remember Tai saying he found this while checking for grimm trying to get to close to home. When he tried to pick it up though it wouldn't budge and he took his frustration out on me when he got home.

Y/n: Y'know what screw it.

I put my hand in it and pulled it out of the ground.

Y/n: Dang Tai you couldn't pull this out. But I pull it out with one hand. Damn Tai you're weak no wonder Raven left you too.

I was inspecting the gauntlet it was cool for sure. But I was brought out of my trance when I heard growling. I look and saw that three beowolves circling me. They must have smelt the blood and I'm pretty sure they smell something else now.

Y/n: No why cruel world. There's only one person I'll never get to say goodbye to.

They pounce at me. All I could think was one word. 

Y/n: STOP!

I just waited for the end but it never came. I slowly open my eye and what I saw shocked me, the Beowolves just in the air like they were frozen.

Y/n: Did I do this?

I just walked up and looked at them. They weren't moving at all I also notice the cool breeze wasn't blowing. I even say a leaf just floating in the air too. I turned my attention back to the beowolves as I wondered how much punch is in this thing. I get in front of one punched it square in the face but nothing happens, I did the same with the second one same result, the third however I hit it where I heard a guy call his mommy/daddy button.(I'm sure you'll figure this out) but again nothing. I start shaking my hand that had the gauntlet on it cause it felt like punching a brick wall. A folded piece of paper fell out when I opened the hand of the gauntlet. I pick it up and unfolded it and it read 'Whoever is the next wielder of the Infinity Gauntlet protect it with your life it is a powerful weapon if wielded correctly. If you choose to do wrong then good luck trying I scattered the four most powerful of the Infinity Stones across Remnant. If you would do good and be a better man then me I'm sorry I couldn't let someone evil use the full power of the Gauntlet. I know this may be stupid but every wielder must know what each stone is and the power it has. On the back of this paper has a brief but descriptive explanation of each stone and its color.' I turn the paper over as I look at the gauntlet again and noticed that are four empty sockets. I look and saw that there is a soul stone!? I look at the description it said it can steal, control, manipulate, and alter living and dead souls. I could bring mom back with this one. I look to see if I have it but no it's orange, while I only have green and yellow. I continue to read the others the yellow one I have is the mind stone it says it enhances the users mental and psionic abilities and I can access dreams and thoughts of other beings and at full power I can read everyone's mind at once, nope never using that ability when I get it fully powered don't want to have everyone's thoughts in my head. The green one I have is called the time stone it says it allows the user to see into the past and future, I can stop, slow down, speed up, or reverse the flow of time. After I read that I reversed my own to get rid of a certain smell I had when the beowolves came. I can also travel through time, change the past and future, I can age and de-age beings and trap people in unending loops of time. At full power it says the user has ominscience and full control over past, present and future. I did see a warning saying you will die if you try to steal Stones from past and/or future wielders. Ahh there goes that idea. 

Y/n: Uhhh resume?

As soon as I said that the breeze came back and I saw the beowolves fly two went through several trees before stopping as for the other he went for a long flight. As I was about to head back I saw something a vision I think. I look around and I see I'm in a park in Vale and a group of four boys were picking on a faunus boy with a blue wolf tail.

Young Cardin: What a freak.

I walk over to the boy and try to pick him up just to go through him but soon after they were leaving only for a beowolf to fall right in front of the leader which fainted after it landed in front of him as the other boys started running around screaming 'it's raining grimm'. I was just laughing my ass off from what I basically did. 

Y/n: They so deserved that.

I was thinking wether to leave or stay, if I stay the would definitely try and steal the gauntlet and if I go Ruby might get abused. I couldn't choose but I remember something and I have a plan.

Timeskip 

I make it back to my 'home'. I speed my body up and ran up the wall of the house and got in through Ruby's window since all the second floor windows were always unlocked. Once I got in I preceded to wake up Ruby.

Ruby: Y/n what are you do-

I cover her mouth and made a quiet gesture.

Ruby: *Whispering* What are you doing up here? You're gonna get beaten by dad again.

Y/n: *Whispering* No I'm not cause we're running away.

Ruby: Why are you- you said we? But I don't know.

Y/n: I know but I want you to come, cause I think Tai will abuse you if I leave and I have to go.

Ruby: Why?

Y/n: Because of this.

I gesture to the gauntlet on my arm which she didn't notice.

Ruby: Whatisit? Whendidyougetaweapon? Whatcanitdo?

Y/n: I'll explain later. Now what do you want to do?

Ruby thinks for a minute before asking one last question.

Ruby: Can we bring Zwei?

Y/n: Yes.

Ruby: I'll come.

Y/n: Ok you get Zwei, some clothes, and dog food.

I quickly and quietly get downstairs and grab some food for us and the few pairs of clothes I have and put them in a bag. I sneakily grab Tai's scroll for a moment to look up psionic abilities and saw conjuration so I make my own scroll and put Tai's back. I head to the front door as I see Ruby ready to go. We go through the door and start running.

Author: Ok I hope you guys-

Ruby somehow gets in here.

Ruby: Where am I?

Author: How did you-

Notices the still broken fourth wall.

Author: Riiiight still need to fix that. 

Ruby: Who are you?

Author: I am the author and your in my little world. You can call me Bacca God.

Ruby: *Snickers* God of idiots.

Bacca: THAT'S NOT WHAT THAT MEANS!!!! I am a Wookie.*Wookie Roar*

Ruby: Is that a type of cookie?
