I woke up to find my parents with cameras out, taking pictures of the scene. I sit up and wipe my eyes and mouth, attempting to dry any drool. Instead I found chocolate all over my face. I roll my eyes and get up off the couch. I felt something bubbling in my stomach. Oh no. I rush to the bathroom and close the door behind me. I lost my lunch and dinner from yesterday. Great. How much longer was this gonna last?

It's been almost a month since the doctor told me the news. I was going to an ultrasound today. The one where they tell me what I'm having. But I want it to be a surprise.

I was up and leave the bathroom. I wobble into my room. I get out Augustus' old jersey that he wanted me to have. I slip it on along with some capris and my usual converse. It was about 3 hours till I had to go, so I went to go get my mom. "I want to go shopping. For some neutral clothing for the baby." She smiled and nodded in delight. She ushered me onto the car and we were off.

I walked into Baby's R Us and was surprised. So. Much. Baby. Crap. I see the section labeled "Unisex". The isle was huge. People rushing around. I squeeze through the mob and manage to get to a cute clothes rack. I pick out 5 onesies. One with a giraffe, one with a penguin, one with a green stripe, one with one that says, "Adorbes!", and one with stripes. I grab some washrags and some bottles on the way out.

We go to the front and a beautiful girl about my age stood at the register. "Hello my name is Sidney. Did you find everything ok?" We nod and she gives us a warm smile. I see her rubbing here stomach and see a faint baby bump. "Are you pregnant?" My mother gives me a stern look in disapproval. "Yes I am! 8 months now. It's a boy." We have a nice conversation and we exchange phone numbers. We head out and get ready to go to the hospital.

The middle aged woman spread cool gel all over my stomach. I laughed a bit, for it was cold and kinda tickled. She places the microphone like object over it and moves it around. I look at the screen and see a wonderful child, slowly breathing. I let a tear fall. This is my child. My beautiful child.

"Do you want to know the sex?" I shake my head. "No thank you. I want it to be a surprise." She nodded and got me all cleaned up. We wave goodbye and head back home.

I sit in the dining room, squished in between the table and the chair. I excuse myself to go watch T.V. in the living room. I turn it on and watch some C.S.I stuff. While I'm watching, I decide to invite Isaac over. I text him and he replies a quick yes. About a half an hour later, I hear a knock. I go to the door and see Isaac and his mother. "Just text me when to pick you up." She kissed Isaac's cheek and waved. I waved back and closed the door. I guide Isaac to the couch. Sure, we may have broken stuff on the way but my parents won't mind.

I look at Isaac and he smiles."I may be blind, but I can see your beautiful face clearly." I look away, a faint red appearing on my cheeks. I start to watch T.V again when I feel a sharp pain in my abdomen. I wince but then realize something. It was the baby. I laugh and yell for my parents. They come rushing in messy and shocked. I roll my eyes and motion them over. I place one of my mom, dad, and Isaac's hand on my stomach. Then I feel another kick. They are all in awe of how the beautiful child, my beautiful child, is soon to come. The amount of happiness I feel is impossible to measure. I start to slowly cry. Tears of joy, obviously. After the kicking stopped, I lay down. My mother asks for everyone to let me rest. I say goodbye to Issac and wonder. I am gonna have an amazing child. Soon too. And I cannot wait.
