The Singer Meets The Infamous

"10 minutes, we leave at 1, Remington!"

"Calm down Seb, I'm ready." Remington yells putting his boots on, he went downstairs quickly.

"Doubt it, you always forget something." Sebastian sighs.

"Oh, shit!" Remington yells, realizing Sebastian was indeed right.

"I knew it. What'd you forget?" Sebastian laughs.

"I- Where's my jacket at?" Remington asks.

"I hung it up last night," Sebastian sighs throwing Remington's jacket at him.

"So, Em, are you coming?" Remington asks his younger brother, who was sitting on the couch wrapped in a blanket scrolling through twitter.

"I- No, I'm not really in the mood." Emerson sighs.

"Alright. We'll be back around 4 maybe closer to 5 or 6." Sebastian says.

"Sounds good." Emerson mumbles.

Both brothers knew Emerson wasn't the biggest fan of going out, so they didn't force it on him. Emerson is more of a stay at home and chill type of person. He usually stays in his room or is in the living room. Emerson was the most antisocial one of the three, he always had a lot to say around people but he never really did.

He wasn't interested in saying every, if he didn't have to he wouldn't. Instead he would write it. That's how a lot of their songs were written. Just thoughts onto paper, songs on documents.

"Bye Em."

"Bye guys..." Emerson sighs, he looks up at the TV, a smiling face staring back. It was some advertisement to hype up the iphone 7, it was months from being released and honestly Emerson wasn't intrested in these long advertisements he just sighed changing the channel.

"Bailey, it's nice to finally meet you." Sebastian says. Bailey smiles and hugs Sebastian. Bailey and Sebastian got to know each other better and they had a lot in common. But she wasn't intrested in him in that way and doubted she ever would be. She was right. She briefly talked to Remington, getting his number from Sebastian.

"It's nice to meet you too, Sebastian, you too Remington," she looks up at Remington, both boys towering over her, he barely reached 5'6 and they were both over 6ft.

Remington was wearing boots, she noticed, Sebastian was wearing dressy shoes which went well with his dark red suit. She thought nothing of what he wore because she knew this was how he always dressed. Remington was wearing his leather jacket unzipped with a black and white striped shirt underneath it. Black skinny jeans that were still unable to perfectly wrap around his legs. She noticed he wore eye makeup, the look suited him well, he was much more mesmerizing than in the photos.

She was wearing a black, long sleeved, cropped sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and knee high boots. Her dyed silver hair reached just below her midback. She had winged eyeliner on with a light red eyeshadow. She didn't think her personality nor style fit her name much but she had to deal with who she was.

"Thank you, it's nice to see you as well." Remington sighs, shaking her hand.

"You mentioned Emerson, is he going to come?" Bailey asks.

"No, he isn't" Remington says.

"Oh," Bailey sighs.

"Don't take it personally, he just isn't comfortable with going out. Since we're going to be in town all day he didn't think it'd be best to come." Sebastian says.

"I understand. Thank you for all of this Seb." Bailey says, she opens the car door open and gets into the back seat.

Remington was in the passengers seat, Sebastian, of course, drove. Remington looked out the window his foot tapping to the beat of the song playing. Sebastian asked Bailey about where she lived before, which was a small town in Ohio. She told him the story of how she met Cole, and Sebastian listened. They talked, until they reached their first destination.

"A coffee shop?"

Remington smiled, "It's the best coffee shop."

"Rem goes here at least twice a week usually three, I'm sure when we start filming again it'll be where we all go before hand." Sebastian says as they enter.

"Well, I'm getting coffee if you guys want something you might want to get it now, around this time a lot of people come in."

"You really come here a lot, don't you?"

"Yeah, sometimes Emerson comes here to write with me, but it's usually just me."

Remington goes to the counter Bailey follows reaching in her purse for her wallet. Someone grabs her wrist. She looks up to see Remington, her heart beats faster, he let go knowing it made her uncomfortable.

"I'll pay," that's all Remington says,

Bailey shakes her head, "You don't have to, I can pay for myself."

"I want to,"

Suddenly Bailey's phone rings, she tells Remington her order quickly and answers it. Stepping a couple feet away from where Remington was.

"Where are you Bay?"

"Out with a couple of friends, I left a note on the fridge,"

"I know you did but where are you at and who are you with?!"

"I'm with a couple of members from the band I'm going to work with."

"Are they girls?"

"No, they both guys."

"You're hanging out with GUYS!"

"Cole, calm down, I don't see the problem with me making friends."

"Don't speak to me that way Bailey! All you are is a fucking slut!" Cole shouts from the other line.

"I-I'm sorry, I-I'll be back around 5, just d-don't hurt me..." Bailey says quietly.

Remington heard her say this and was immediately concerned. He didn't exactly hear what Cole said but knew he was yelling, he was pretty sure it was nothing good. Sebastian got them a table not really wanting anything. Remington had just ordered and was moments from getting their drinks. Bailey shook her head saying  bye to Cole and ending the call.

"Bailey, what was that?" Remington asks.

"It was nothing, don't worry about it." Bailey sighs.

Remington hands the girl at the counter money as they grab their drinks. Bailey goes to the table and sets her drink down excusing herself to go to the bathroom. When she left Remington turned to Sebastian. He shook his head looking down at his drink. He told himself not to assume things about who Bailey is with but he just couldn't help the thoughts.

He could just be having a bad day, Remington thought. If he was having a bad day would she really be scared of him hurting her? Would she really lie if he wasn't dangerous? Remington looks back up at his older brother.

"What are you thinking about?" Sebastian asks.

"I- It's nothing," Remington sighs standing up.

"Really? You told me that multiple times within the week, what's wrong?" Sebastian asks.

"I don't know how to say it or if I should say it."

"Just say it Rem," Sebastian sighs

"I don't trust Bailey's boyfriend." Remington admits.

"What? Why?" Sebastian asks.

"They phone call she had with him, it's not my business but if he hurts her th-"

"Rem? You're getting carried away, are you even sure he is going to do anything to her." Sebastian asks.

"She asked him not to hurt her, this isn't a one time thing Seb. He has a problem with us I'm guessing, jealous maybe? Look, if he won't let her be with who she wants and if she's scared of him what are we supposed to do?"  Remington questioned.

"Remington, I agree that she shouldn't be scared of the person she loves but this isn't our business and we can't take action unless we know for sure what is happening."

Remington nods seeing Bailey walk over, she looked upset. When Remington saw her eyes he figured she'd been crying... She didn't smile, she looked more upset than anything. Sebastian looks at Bailey, he knew something was wrong as well.

"Bailey, are you okay?" Remington asks.

She shakes her head. She could say she was fine but no matter what she would still feel like shit. It was useless. Remington looked into Bailey's eyes, her eyes were, of course, red and puffy. Her naturally light blue eyes looked dull. She didn't speak, she couldn't. Without really thinking Remington hugged Bailey. She wrapped her arms around Remington tight, tears threatening to escape again.

"Bailey, what's wrong?" Remington asks.

"I- It's useless." She mumbles.

"Bailey your feelings aren't useless they never will be, if you don't want to say what is going on I won't make you. If you want to we'll listen to you."

"Thank you, I-I just don't want to say what it is..." Bailey sighs.

"I understand, if you ever want to talk just call or text me, please."

Bailey nods. She lets go of Remington and wipes her teary eyes with her sweatshirt sleeves, she didn't cry again, but she wanted to. Remington gives her a soft reassuring smile. She gives him a broken smile. Remington hated seeing her so upset, he felt close to her already. They texted a little during the week but Remington didn't know her well, now he knew something he wished he didn't.

"I'm sorry for being a mess," Bailey sighs.

"Don't be sorry, it's okay," Sebastian says softly.

"We should get going, we still have many places to see." Remington says changing the subject.

Bailey nods grabbing her drink and following them outside and to the car.
