CHAPTER-9 : The Protector

PIERCE'S ENTRY

ARJUN'S POV

Well yesterday was a lot to take about and now I'm yawning like a duck besides mah princess. She looks so cute while sleeping. Her mate should be able to take care of her otherwise I'm not sending her away. I'm capable of caring for her lifetime. And with that I placed a good morning kiss on her forehead not before placing her neatly in the duvets.

When I was about to leave, a soft touch stopped me and my angel whispered a good morning in her sweet voice by placing a sloppy kiss on my cheek. Well sloppy because due to our father's nice behavior she was too good for herself that initially when we shifted she used to throw up her food. On asking, she said that she never had a proper meal in presence of him. So this was too much for her. So she was set on her low diet along with a long list of pills to support her weight. Well everything about her was fragile and delicate. But she was recovering which was a good sign. I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't notice her going in the lawn for gardening. An loved nature as it was her second home and that's why she chose this place as her new house, as it was close to the deadly wild woods.......

After a lot if arguing and pouting I pushed her to get ready for College and made my way to kitchen. She came in an hour or so, all well dressed for her first day..... Since we have moved here ,her face has a glow whose reason only she knows. All she does is count her time to learn things about us being hybrids. As I'm busy with the emi's and work stuff she took the responsibility to learn the stuff and then feed it to me via mind clash.........

Now enough of me ranting let's take my sissy to college.........

ANIKA'S POV

Today is my first day and I'm quite nervous. It's been years since i left studying. As I was a bright student I had skipped most of the years of schooling and before mom died I had completed junior schooling. And now it was time for high school. Since I'm registering as a younger one I m more nervous.

Bhai stopped at a particular building and guided himself to the principals office leaving me behind.....

As I was taking in the scene of the college I bumped into a wall ,well not a wall but into someone. But that someone wasn't someone because when I looked into his eyes, we both gasped at the sudden sting on our wrist......

When I saw what was it

I was shocked would be an understatement bcoz he too had the same on his hand and at same place. When I looked upto him he seemed to calculate something and then gave me a boyish grin.

I was deciphering as too what was happening when he spoke,

"So princess how am I your protector. Do u have a prophecy in your name???", he asked me.

I was too boggled to answer him that I stood still to respond. I guess bhai sensed my uneasiness ,bcoz I was soon pulled into familiar arms of my brother which seemed to calm me a bit......

"Oh so u are mated to him......"., he said with amusement .

I explained everything to Arjun and he seemed to have a battle with himself but finally he nodded to him.

Soon bhai pulled us out to a nearby cafe and sat their discussing about how,when......... is that poss blah blah blah blah

I was so lost that I didn't know I drifted off to sleep and

"Where am I? ?? Wasn't I supposed to be with bhai and the guy whose name I learned to know was Pierce. Then how come I'm here".

'Sorry to disturb u baby but I called u here so I could tell u what's happening with u. Well starting with I'm Aurora the Moon Goddess and my mate is Arthur the Moon God. The reason that I have come is that. ,u are our daughter Athena whose has a prophecy with her, to kill the most dangerous vampire in existence. Well since u had a task with u , we had to give u away to Em and Clyde so u could fulfill it. But circumstances weren't good that u landed with that mutt and we couldn't do anything...

I'm really sorry for all that u suffered', she said in a broken voice and cried out. Soon a man came from the Dark and sat beside her speaking soothing words to her. When she had calmed down the man looked at me and I was stunned bcoz he was an older version of Arjun. On realizing my confused stare he spoke,' Well ur Mom forgot to say that u and Aiden are twins and that is why he is attached to you in a more protective way.....'

'''Well does that means I'm Athena, ur first born of twins and Aiden is my twin....... And I have pierce as my protector. So in all this mess do I have a mate.....''', I blurted. Since curiosity got the best of me.

The man chuckled at my sudden outbreak but answered,

'U do have one and he is the powerful one over there. Since u are our first born u are more strong then ur brother. But Em conceived ur brother first and u second so that ur brother could look out for the environment around u but as i see he failed so...... That doesn't mean that ur brother is not strong.

Well u are born with power and u will live with power. So u will be his Luna Queen Athena. And he is waiting for u since 7 years and practically now ,he is fighting of the rogues to get to u. He has sensed that u are here and he has gone on rampage since the rogues are keeping him away from u. I can even say that he loves you even though u two haven't met. His actions show that. Well now it's time for us to leave ''

And with that they left the place and I was welcomed with the white walls. Well the cafe didn't had white walls. When I strained my eyes a bit I saw two pair of eyes looking at me. One was obviously my bro and the other pierce.

By their looks I could say they needed an explanation but I was in no mood so I clashed my mind with Arjun s.

He quickly grasped all the incidents and flashed a cheeky smile to pierce who was looking between me and Arjun.

Arjun explained him about his role in our life keeping the twins part to himself and they did a manly hug and set off with plans to protect me when danger comes.

Seriously one wasn't enough to care that I got one more..... Ahhhh and the head of all is still to come......MY MATE
