CHAPTER-5 : The Shocking Revelations

FEELING EACH OTHER'S PRESENCE

ANIKA'S POV

After what seems long 13 hours sitting in a cramped position we reached California. Soon after I touched the ground, the winds blew past me as if welcoming me and I was embraced in a lovely feeling what we call home......

Besides me Arjun too was grinning.

Then he pulled me out towards a Black Mustang. I looked over to him so he said pulling his invisible collars,"THE company where I'm supposed to work provided me with it but soon it would be ours. I only had money to buy the house. So......"he trailed off. This was just too much. So I hugged him tightly and whispered in his ear that this is too much for me. But if everything Is OK with u then I'm fine. After getting a positive reply from me he pushed me to the passenger seat and hopped in the driver's seat and the car roared to life.

I leaned towards the window and looked past the tree when I felt a familiar feeling, as if something left me...... I was so lost that I couldn't hear what Arjun told until he applied the brakes to which I hit my forehead to the windscreen and I swear I got a cut so I placed my hand on my head only to find nothing. Wow mean nothing.

Someone shrieked beside me and I saw that bhai was looking at me with curious eyes.

"We should find out what's wrong with us",he said. To which I nodded and closed my eyes and let darkness takeover me.

DAMIEN'S POV

After having goodbyes from all pack members I rode my Range Rover and was reaching the borders when I felt something left inside me and it was all homely. My wolf stirred inside me and we were engulfed with a white fog. Soon it resided within me and whoa everything was as normal as ever. But no my wolf was extremely restless. He kept on budging that the fog was familiar to him but he couldn't get it. Pushing his thoughts aside I crossed our pack boundary and was caught by a heart writhing pain shoot through my body.

My mind wondered to how is this possible. This pain comes when we are going far away from our mate but I haven't reached for her then how.

There again comes this fog and covers me with its essence and soon the pain waves off.

Good now something is definitely wrong with me but Ryder is now howling in happiness as if he got something he was waiting for......

I shook my head my head to my tragedy filled life and drive towards the pack house.

As soon as I came out of my car all I mean all even the Alpha bowed to me which caught me by surprise. Soon the beta assured me to a room where I would stay but Ryder couldn't stop nagging. He wants to let out. So I quickly freshened up and met alpha noah so that he would know my whereabouts.

We both left for the woods in our wolf form when I caught a glimpse of a girl looking at us as we made in the woods. In front was a 6ft large grey wolf with its eyes swirling gold and ears with black stripes. Being an alpha comes with a muscular body but I stood their outstanding.

I was 7-8ft tall so I could tower him easily. Besides I was a pure black wolf with white ears and paws and not to forget my cool deep blue eyes.......

I always found this strange that why my ears were white when every other part was black. ....

Leaving these thoughts behind I let Ryder to take control.

As soon as the control shifted Ryder growled what seemed a powerful since he was an alpha but what caught off guard was that alpha Noah's wolf bowed in front of him......

I mean wolf don't like to bow in front of another wolf and here we are talking about another alpha. This is strange but Ryder said this is what is rightfully ours.

I seriously didn't understood a thing so settled behind when Ryder shifted back to human letting him control me for a few hours.......

But I guess that was the worst decision I ever made bcoz after reaching back to the pack house he strode through the hallways and landed straight in alpha Noah's office and sat in his chair. Like seriously, dad has not even announced that I am next alpha of our pack and he is behaving like one. But his next words scared the living daylights out of me.....

Not not with continuous growling and i-will-kill-u-look of Noah.....

I mean which alpha would allow his sit to another one when he is not even declared as one. God Ryder has messed up these for a long time......
