CHAPTER-30: DOUBLE POSSESSIVE MATE

DAMIEN'S POV

How dare he to close the door on my face? He has my mate in there and that didn't settle well with Ryder and he started growling. He wanted control and wanted Athena back in our arms.

Hearing all the growling Pierce came up and took me down to cool down but I can't, I wanted her here with me. Goddess what a pure torcher, my mate is here under the same roof yet I'm not able to have her close. My patience is wearing out as time is ticking. What the hell is he doing with my mate?

Soon the sound of turning the shower on was heard and I cooled down to a bit knowing they were not together, but soon my temper spiked up when I heard their giggling and banter. Damn, what are they doing in there? I wanted my mate back in my arms. Shit, man I feel so desperate for her touch, but what will happen when you meet your mate after 7 long years.

After another few torturous minutes, the door open and came the brother-sister duo with Athena in Arjun's arms. Now that's not an appealing site to see for an Alpha wolf.

Ryder growled thunderously and took full control when he saw both Athena and Arjun's wet hair and they smelled similar. And that was enough, I stalked over to them and called out to her.

Feeling my Alpha command she shivered and snuggled more in her brother while he turned around and took her back to her room. I stood their blankly and another growl tore out from my chest. Ryder was furious. He wanted answers and that to now.

But Jace mind linked me,

Jace: Hold your horses and get something to eat. You know right how much and get for yourself too. Besides, you are staying with her.

Damien: That you could have told me when you were in the living room.

Jace: Just do as I said and come here.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a plateful of Alfredo and started walking to her room.

There she was sleeping while looking out of the window while Jace was at the door waiting for me. As soon as I came he went out without a word and locked the door from outside while I latched it from inside.

I placed all the things on the table itself and called out to her. She heard me and gestured to come near while Ryder had enough of following others so he just stood there still.

She got the gesture and started pushing the comforter away from her body while huffing continuously as if her hands pained while doing so. Then she tried sitting up which seemed impossible looking at her but she sat with the support of her hands and then started wriggling her legs as if they had got still. After so much effort she put her left foot down and was trying to get her right foot but she seemed out of breath. So she stopped for a few moments and grabbed her breath and again started putting her right foot down. She somehow managed that and then put all her pressure on her legs and tried to stand up but why was she doing, what was she doing.

Somehow she stood, wobbling on her feet with the help of the bed and as soon as she stepped her foot forward without the support, she collapsed on the floor and my heart skipped its beat. I felt as if I was trying a paralyzed person to walk.

I ran up to her and took her in my arms and I felt her entire weight on me.

Athena: I'm too weak. I can't walk in this situation. Besides my heart is beating wildly and.....

Me: Shoo, it's okay. I have got you. Now tell me what's wrong with you. And with that, I picked her in my arms and placed on the bed with her sitting on my lap, legs on either side.

Athena: Whenever, I've dreamed, this happens to me but don't worry tomorrow I'll be okay.

Me: I'm so sorry love. I thought you are intentionally ignoring me and Ryder doesn't like being ordered around and Arjun had ordered him for a lifetime.

But baby, that means you didn't take a bath on your own. Arjun did help you right.

That means he saw all of you.

Athena: Noooooooooooooooooooo, he had his eyes closed. Damien, for God's sake, he is, my brother.

Me: But you were smelling like him and Ryder didn't like it.

Athena: Okay, next time onwards I'll call you and only you if that's okay with you.

Damien's eyes gleamed in happiness when his mate said that to him.

Me: Can we bathe you now because Ryder doesn't like his smell all over you.

And with that, he picked Athena in his arms and started to the shower.

Athena: No shower, tub, please.

Me: As you say, Mia

Then he lowered her in the tub and filled it with lukewarm water. Then he got rid of his clothes, in front of her while she was looking everywhere other than him and was blushing profusely. Then he settled himself opposite to her and started playing with her toes.

Athena: Ermm, why you got naked... And now you are sitting opposite to me.

Me: Mia, you are going to see me bare somewhere in the future so why not now and about sitting opposite to you, I know you are not ready for me, and having you this close, will break my control on ravishing you right here, so...

On hearing his response, Athena beamed in pride and pushed her entire self on that of his and hugged the life out of him. He soon came out of his shock and reciprocated her hug by pulling her over him. She shivered under his touch while he kept rubbing her back soothingly. His hands stopped on her zip waiting for her to push him away but she pulled him more to her thus telling him to go ahead. He pulled her zip down to find there wasn't any barrier between his hands and her bareback. He placed his palm over there to feel the sparks from their touch while she kept squishing more in his neck. He pulled her top from its confinements and made her upper body bare while she was looking at his naked torso. He slightly touched her twin assets while she moaned softly in his ears. He loved her soft calls that were calling his soul from the depths of his heart. He pulled her flush against him while getting rid of her lowers. He placed her legs on either side of his waist and held her tightly by his waist as his eyes filled in the scariest look of her. Her entire torso was marked with scars. His heart was bleeding on taking in her frame. His eyes filled with unshed tears, as he felt responsible for her this state while she could see him crumbling in front of her eyes.

Athena: Damien, look here, it's not your fault that I have these scars. Besides as time passes, they will fade away.

Me: No Mia, it hurts to see you like this. Ryder says, he can heal you only if you want to.

Athena nodded to his plea while Damien started with his work. He nibbled on her collar bone where there was a huge scar that was enough to scare him. He lifted her in his arms and came outside. He placed her gently on the bed and got some towels to clean her up. The whole night he was awake loving her everywhere his tongue could guide him and healed her with his love while Athena slept due to his sweet love and he cocooned her naked form in his arms tightly.
