CHAPTER-27 : First Kiss

Another day at Obsidian Pack...

Damien was up pretty early as he wanted to meet his mate after the beautiful dream he had. Getting ready in a jiffy he made a mad dash to his Rover and drove to his farmhouse. Shutting the engine he ran to the door to find it unlocked and on instinct Ryder was alert. After sniffing Ryder let Damien take control as he felt Pierce was here.

Damien climbed the stairs to his mate room to see Pierce sleeping in a chair near his Luna. A smile crept on Damien's face as he felt Pierce's protectiveness over his Luna. He moved to where Pierce was sleeping and ran a hand in Pierce's blonde hairs, immediately waking him from his slumber and pushing in a alert mode. Pierce's eyes flared black along with silver as his wolf was also in control. On sensing his Alpha he took full control and smiled in return.

Pierce : Good Morning Alpha. I thought your mood would be yuck after yesterday night so I had come to take you here but you were sleeping peacefully and didn't had that in me to wake u up so I came alone.

Damien : Actually your Luna over here had some other plans to keep me from running here.

Pierce nodded in understanding.

Pierce : So I guess you would be here now and I must leave.

Damien : Not just leave buddy. You are taking care of the pack in my absence.

Pierce huffed in disagreement but one stern look from Damien and he ran on his heels.

Damien chuckled at his buddie's childishness and sat himself beside Anika whose smile adorned a cute smile sensing him near.

Damien kept looking at her smiling face and thought to himself that could her smile grew even bigger than this while Ryder muttered 'whipped ' in their link. Damien chuckled at his own self and pulled her one hand from Aiden's torso into his hands. Her hands felt soft on his rough ones and looked so tiny in his big palms. He intertwined their hands and a glow erupted from their union and Athena's skin rejuvenated to its original state. Mates tend to heal each other , Ryder muttered in the link. Ryder nudged Damien to pull Athena to their side as it would help her heal better but Damien was thinking about her comfort. It was just one day they had spend as a mated couple and now pulling her into them would make her uncomfortable so he kept mum.

"You know you should listen to your wolf. Whatever he is saying is right" a voice from besides Athena and in shock he left her hand and Athena's smile dropped.

"See she too felt that you left her hand" again he heard.

Damien looked besides Athena to see Aiden up but his eyes were glowing black and red meaning his wolf and vampire both were in control. He blinked his eyes and the vibrant green returned much to Damien's relief.

"I too want to hold her but I don't know whether she would like it or not. I don't want to make her uncomfortable" Damien tried explaining.

"But it's crystal clear that she needs your touch instead of mine. And whatever I could do for her, I've done and now its your turn. Try to hold her and see her face, it gives away most of her feelings" Aiden assured Damien. Damien nodded politely and again linked their hands and the smile returned to her face. Seeing that smile both Damien and Aiden smiled. Before Damien could say something to Aiden he saw that his eyes were changing from black to green and vice versa and he was clutching his head in his heads.

"You need to let your wolf out. He preferably wants a run or hunt" Damien suggested slowly.

Aiden nodded and misted through the window.

While Damien got comfortable on the bed besides Athena and her smile widened sensing her mate too close. He ever so carefully cradled her in his arms and placed her head near his heart while her legs were in between his and his arms were tightly wound on her stomach holding her close. Anika smiled at the gesture and snuggled more in him.

"She is sensing the bond. The bond is growing between us and it won't be long when she will feel the tingles and sparks from the bond" Ryder growled in the link.

Damien quickly checked her from top to bottom to find her fully covered in clothes and a frown appeared on his face. Then he remembered the day he saw her from the tree house and the day they spend together before the shift, every time she was covered fully. So he pushed her sleeves up and rage filled his heart. There were scars running all over her hand and got lost in the covered portion. Ryder growled fiercely and Athena flinched at the intensity. Few tears left her closed eyes and that was it for Damien to loose his anger. He quickly wiped her tears and placed a long kiss on her forehead. Her breathing evened out and a smile formed on her lips.

Damien vowed to himself that he will find the one who did this to his mate and kissed her forehead again. Her hair that were tied in a bun, he let them loose. As her silky soft hair flowed to its length, Damien's eyes twinkled in awe. He was proud to say his mate had the beautiful hair in the world and it was his heaven. He placed his face in her hair and breathed in her rosy scent. He was drowned in her hair when he felt her shiver in pleasure. He instantly knew that she was feeling the mate bond and in no time would be awake in his arms.

He placed a chaste kiss on her crown, then her temple and snuggled her close to his body. He kissed her both eyes and her eyes rolled under the eyelids. He pecked her nose and she sniffed in return. Ryder laughed at her act while Damien smiled. 'Adorable' both mumbled together and pink clouds coated Athena's cheeks. Damien kissed her cheeks for a long time and her lips parted in response. Damien looked at her full pink luscious lips and his wolf flashed dirty images of what he could do to her lips. Damien blinked his eyes and let his thumb wonder over her lips. Her lips trembled under his touch and he shivered in pleasure. He cradled her head close to his and placed his lips on hers. For a few minutes he kept them still on hers and slowly pulled her lower lip to kiss and on instinct her upper lip touched his and a current passed through both of them. Damien left her lower lip and kissed her upper lip and her body jolted in his arms. He kept kissing her softly and her body shuddered in his arms. He tightened his hold on her and kissed her passionately. He knew that it was time for her to wake up and kissing her would just fasten the process. He kissed her with all the love that he had for his mate since seven years. The wait, the longing, the pain, the sadness, the jealousy everything flowed through the kiss as if telling her that he waited for a long time for her and now he couldn't wait anymore.

During the kiss Anika's eyes opened wide to see Damien, her mate kissing her so passionately. She could sense his worry, his love and his longing in the kiss and she did the right thing that anyone would do to assure their partner.

She wound her hands on his neck while her legs tightened around his waist and she returned the kiss with equal fervor and passion. Damien felt her hands and legs around him, cocooning him in her warmth and the zeal of passion that rode his senses in desire through her kiss.

His arms tightened around her and he worked fluently on her lips making her crave for more. Finding her breathless he pulled apart to see her breathing hard and glowing in his love. He pecked her forehead and she looked in his eyes. He found her eyes were glowing black while returning to blue that he loved. He knew her wolf was awakening and it won't be long for her to rule beside him. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. She returned his hug with the same intensity and his happiness knew no bounds.
