CHAPTER-24 : The Sleeping Royals

AIDEN'S POV

I took back control from Jace as I saw Damien being pushed and I remembered when she pushed me away in past. Even though I was weak, I had to take control because Jace and I weren't familiar with each other and needed time to bond. Since he was dormant from several years he was feral and wanted to protect who was his but little did he knew he just had this cute little girl to protect. Jace also needs to be familiar about my fae side and so my vampire so i let them to bond and pushed their link at the back.

"Damien, stay away, her body is taking too much of her energy in pushing you away." As soon as those words left my mouth hurt flashed his face but he masked it and smiled faintly.

I made place near her and concentrated in all the remaining energy in awakening her tormented soul. Several minutes passed and she woke with a jerk and started shouting in fear. Again her thrashing had started and tears ran from her cute doe eyes. I held her arms and pulled her to look in my eyes. Her swirling eyes stopped at my green ones and zeroed once she knew I was there to help her. She let go and fell on the pillow.

"What ?" I asked her carefully keeping my arms on either of her side and bent a little down.

It hurts. She croaked in pain. Tears flew from her eyes and she shifted uncomfortably on the bed. That action itself made me alert and I knew she had to rest but not without proper medication.

"Pierce can we call your doctor to look upon her. I don't think the human doctor could treat her anymore as her wolf is awakening....."

Pierce : Okay...........

Damien : She is on her way........ But I can't feel her wolf.

Aiden : That's because you are not bonded with her.

To that Damien huffed but remained still as he felt someone's immense gaze on him and he looked at her and blushed slightly. She chuckled at his antics and he gave her a lopsided grin.

Katie : Alpha, I'm here. You need my help.

Damien : Well Katie we have called you for an important work. The girl over here just consumed someone's pain while they were shifting.

On that Katie sighed in helplessness and urged Damien to continue.

Damien : So now that shift is over she is not recovering. In fact she is still whimpering in pain.

And with that Damien moved to look at his mate and a chuckle left his lips. There was his mate and her brother playing cutely with each other. Aiden flicked her nose with his and she gasped at him in horror. But in return she kissed his nose and he made a disgusting face. But returned her kiss by kissing her chubby cheeks. She smiled at his action and pushed her face in his neck and sniffed him to feel calm.

Besides us Katie squirmed in despair and we broke out of trance and I nodded her to continue. As soon as Aiden pulled away she whimpered in pain and Aiden tensed at that...

Aiden : I guess you have to look at her with me beside her...

Katie looked at her Alpha and he nodded helplessly.

Katie checked her as well Aiden as Athena told her.

Katie : Alpha, there isn't any external injury but both are wear emotionally and physically. I guess it's best if we sedate them for sometime.

Pierce : Sometime means..........

Katie : They will be up on their own....

Damien growled at her statement and all looked at him but Athena just rolled at him. He glared at her but sighed in response. He ordered Katie to do what was needed..... Katie searched over her equipments and sedated the two....... Soon both the brother-sister duo slept but not without Aiden wrapping his arms over her in a protective way. Athena too responded him by snuggling close.

Pierce : It's not safe for leaving them alone like this.... We have to put up security over here........

And then light emitted from their forms and they were covered within an invisible layer... Katie gasped at that and turned to look at Damien who was equally shocked.

Pierce chuckled looking at their surprised faces and said, "These two royal wolves as too clever, they know someone will hurt them so they are protecting each other.........."

Katie : Royals......... Do you mean I just treated the royals.........

Damien : Yes.......... and you aren't telling anyone about that....

Katie : yes Alpha...

Damien : Go back to the pack house and she left.

Pierce : So, its just you and me Alpha. What are we doing???

Damien : I don't know but for now let's sleep.................

And they slept there itself on the couches........
