CHAPTER-23 : Wolfie Love

JACE'S POV

I was so engrossed in looking at my baby sister that I forgot about the two almost naked males standing in front of me. I growled furiously at them as they were watching my baby sister which wasn't a good sign. And to top that since Aiden was tired he had cut off our kink so I had no idea who were they.

Sensing the confusion, one of the two shifted in his wolf and I felt someone trying to get to me. I opened the link and memories came flooding of Ace and us. I felt the protector bond oozing out of him towards Athena. He was looking at her worriedly. Then my eyes snapped to the other who also shifted into his wolf. And no wonder he was radiating so much power. He was an Alpha wolf and not just any Alpha, the Alpha King.

But he had eyes trained on my sister in a very intense way. I growled at him and pulled Athena towards me away from his prying eyes and he just let out a growl.........

We were into a staring competition when I felt his eyes soften on seeing Athena snuggling in my side and seeking comfort. I again looked at him and his eyes reflected pure love and adoration for my sister. His eyes showed pride but at the same time they were full of ego. No doubt he was a cocky bastard and I felt him drawn to Athena in a way only a mate can.

I tried creating a mind-link between us and he whimpered at my presence in his mind. He looked up at me and glared while I just snorted at his immatureness. After setting up the link, I ran through his memories......

He was a cocky bastard as I said earlier but he had a soft spot for his loved ones. He was ruthless to those who hurt what was his..... He was loving and caring to his pack. He was a good boy as there was no memory of a girl in his mind. Then there was his wolf who was intimidating but still he was powerless in front of me. Then there was a picture of my sister deeply craved in his mind. His thoughts about her were true and he did love her. He was one hell of a possessive Alpha male. And then and there I knew my sister had found her mate......

I was staring at his face when he shifted back along with the other whose name I learned to was Pierce..... I too wanted to shift back but Aiden wasn't ready to take over. He was too tired to think about anything. Besides Athena too was sleeping. Sensing my dilemma, Damien pushed his presence in my mind ........

"Dude, just think of your human form and that's all..........." he said softly.

I nodded by big wolf head and shifted to my human form and grabbed Athena from falling as she was practically leaning on my tall wolf form.

"Man, you have become all bulgy and strong" Pierce joked from behind.

I took a look at myself and grinned .......

"Athena, wakey wakey sweetie..........." I cocooned her while shaking her form.

She flapped her hands in air and then groaned in pain. I was alert at her groaning but then she started thrashing in my arms. I was startled at her behavior and pushed myself in her mind.........

Stop Dad........... It hurts.......... Ahh.......Ahhhh.................. Dad I don't know about Mom......... Why she left us??............ I don't know why Arjun doesn't behave normal..............

That's it I can't see more than that.... So I came out of her mind and she was more bawling her arms out..........

Damien tried to grab her from me but the more protective brother I'm I didn't let him take her... I picked her up in my arms and tightened my arms around her as her thrashing increased.....

Damien tried to but one glare from me and he stopped. I knew he was hurting but being a royal your emotions are too high. He whimpered at every shriek that came out of her mouth. His eyes were rapidly changing colors and he was keeping his wolf away. His hands were clutched in a fist after all he was her mate.

I can't help it now can I. So I misted and brought her home. Till now she was a mess and needs to be cleaned. And sensing that we didn't had any female with us, I had to do that. I hope her mate doesn't flip.

After changing her into a fresh set of clothes, I scooted close to her and patted her forehead. Meanwhile both Pierce and Damien were here looking at her...

"What man , why isn't she waking?" Pierce asked being impatient.

I don't know. It's never this late for her to wake from her slumber.

"Why don't you try some of your magic and try waking her up. Besides your bond can heal her." Pierce suggested.

I can't do that. Aiden is not responding. He and I have not bonded so I don't know what you are saying?

"Does that mean you can't link her??? No that doesn't sound good. She needs to feel your presence in her mind and so do you. You know right you are lone wolves and you have each other to be sane." Pierce shouted.

"Guys, if you are done then can I check on my mate" Damien asked dismissing their quarrel.

Both nodded and Aiden got up from his previous position.

Damien tried going close to her and was pushed away. Pierce and Jace both saw that and were shocked. Jace tried linking with Aiden and hopefully he returned. He took control and............
