CHAPTER-20 : MATES

WRITER'S POV

Damien woke up with the sun rays bathing his face and dashed to get ready. He had decided that he was going to confront her and was hell bent to do so.

As soon as he was ready, he went to his farmhouse and was about to knock when he smelt the mouthwatering smell of his mate more strong then Pierce's or that man. So he concluded that his mate was alone and that he can have a nice talk with her.

He knocked on her door and was waiting patiently for her to come...

Anika opened the door and was dumbstruck to see the most handsome guy standing in her patio. She was literally checking him out and Damien was smiling on seeing her swooning over him. He so badly wanted to tell her that he was all hers and she could do more than just eye-raping him. He ever so politely asked that whether he was welcomed in her house.

She broke out from her reverie and was smiling shyly but allowed him to enter. He was grinning on seeing the pink coating on her cheeks. He so wanted to caress them with his fingers but controlled himself.

He made himself comfortable on the love seat where her scent was a bit more than other seats and then told her to sit with him as he was here to talk to her.

Before sitting with him she asked him would he like to have something. He nodded his head in denial but seeing her fallen face he immediately yelled a 'yes' and her face lit up like a child on getting his Christmas gift. She immediately hoped to the kitchen and grabbed a mug of coffee and lasagna and a few cheese rolls and placed it in front of him.

He took a sip of coffee and his taste-buds burst in joy. He instantly fell in love with her coffee and then he took a bite of the cheese roll and he became a fan of her handmade food. He was happy to know that she knew to cook and was more happy knowing she could make a good Luna. He undoubtedly tasted the lasagna and in an instant he was drooling over it.

She was happy to find him content after seeing those expressions. She felt as if feeding him was her duty and she had done it rightfully. But out of curiosity she asked him about his meet.

He was happy to see her conversing with him and told her................

"Hiiiii. I'm Damien Ryi, Alpha King of the werewolves and future Alpha of this pack in which you are living and I am here to ask a few things about you."

She was at first shocked at his name but composed herself and finally settled with the thought of telling him everything.

"Hiiii. I'm Anika Jason Matthews and I'm a hybrid." She spoke sensing his behavior.

He was shocked at first but then told her to say the truth because somehow he felt her name wasn't real.

She was bewildered at his sensing skill and smiled a bit and told.....

"I'm Anika, daughter of Luna Queen Evelyn and Alpha King Clyde and I stay here with my brother Arjun. So since our Dad is a hybrid so are we being his kids. I'm a werewolf but I still didn't get my wolf, then I'm also a vampire and her name is Alexandria and at last I'm Fae Queen. Same is my brother and his vampire's name is Tyson."

Damien sighed in relief and was over-flowing in happiness when he realized that why didn't she felt him. He asked her if it was ok to shake hands. She nodded and they shaked their hands. Damien felt the sparks waking his body to lean in his desires whereas Anika remembered something and a gasp left her mouth. She recalled their first meet and was looking at him with love and adoration.

Damien was puzzled to feel the love oozing from her and remembered about meeting her back at Noah's. He was grinning like a Cheshire cat and waved her to come near. She stood from her place and was looking at him. He caught her thoughts and himself pulled her in a hug and cherished the feeling of completeness.

Damien's arms snaked along her waist and pulled her more closer and she placed her head in his crook and nuzzled a little and felt Damien shudder under her touch. And on instant she felt something poking her stomach. She pulled away a little and saw Damien Jr. a little excited and when she saw Damien's face it was red in embarrassment and was looking at the ground.

She made him look in her eyes and he calmed a little and pulled her in another bone crushing hug. He made a promise to himself that he would never let her go.....

After pulling away he didn't let her go away but pulled her to her room and sat on her bed. He asked her what she would like to do and was ruffling her hair.

She asked him that whether he would watch movies with her. He nodded at her and got up to set up the screen while she left to get the snacks. After sometime, Damien made himself comfortable on her bed and was waiting for her and when she arrived he placed the tray on the bedside and pulled her in front of him and laid back on the bed rest.

Damien was happy that finally his mate was near him and he was feeling like a lucky person. He saw Anika sleeping peacefully in his arms, so he put off the screen and pulled her up besides him and cocooned her in his warmth. She sighed in return and snuggled in his chest. He placed a kiss on her crown and slept peacefully....
