CHAPTER-16 : TRAINING THE LUNA

Pierce, Arjun and Anika settled for a wide clearing just near Damien's territory for the training purpose when suddenly the entire clearing was shielded by a covering which usually fae's do when hiding something crucial. Anika looked at the shield and found some fae's chanting words for covering the fields. When they were done they landed in front of her and bowed to both Anika and Arjun.

"Welcome Princess Athena and Prince Aiden for your arrival in our land," chanted the fairies to them.

"It's nice to meet you little fairies but what is the need to cover the field." asked a confused Athena.

"Well it's to keep your moves in hiding and it has been asked by your mother." replied the fairy.

"And Prince Aiden we would like to steal Princess daily for 5 hours so that we could get her ready to accept the Fae Queen crown." asked the fairy .....

Aiden's eyes fogged as he was having a conversation with Pierce on her training schedule when they came to a solution to let her go.

"You can take her away but you will take her in either my or Pierce's presence and the same way escort her back to us. If that's okay then you can take her anywhere in the world. But one scratch on her and you will see the beast in me." Aiden cleared the air with his possessiveness.

Athena just rolled her eyes on her brother's love and glanced at Pierce who was nodding to every verdict that leaved Aiden's lips.

She just chuckled to their response and bid bye to the fairies promising to join them by tomorrow,

So, started Pierce.... Let's start with the warm up first. Athena, a bit stretching for 15 minutes would be okay.

Anika shrugged in response and got on her work. Meanwhile, Aiden and Pierce were having a arm-to-arm combat.

When she was done stretching, Athena was ordered to do 40 laps of the ground by Pierce.

Aiden glared at Pierce for giving her task but was pleased when Athena moved in a swift and was completing her first lap.

Both were shocked and confused on her display of stamina that they were having it hard to digest the fact that the Luna in her was awakening at a faster rate and so do her wolf.

As promised the fairies took Athena away from her brother's protective glance to an unknown land which belonged to her granny several decade ago and now she was graced to be the next descendant of her precious heaven.

On reaching there, each fairy was supposed was imprint their thumb impression on the lock just outside the door. On having no clue, Athena also gave her imprint to find the door illuminating with a bright light and thereby opening for its owner.

With each step, the air changed its direction and danced along with Athena as in a way to welcome her.

Several fairies got accumulated to have a glance of their new owner. Athena had already proved herself of being the owner by illuminating the door and changing the wind's direction as both were controlled by her emotions. The entire environment depended on the owner's mood.

And now only the coronation was left which would be accomplished as soon as her mate would arrive.

For about a month Athena was undergoing both her physical and mental training and was emerging way better than any other day. But her scars and memories weren't fading which was a major downfall on her part.

She knew she needed to pour her heart someday but she also didn't wanted to be judged by the other person. She was hoping that her mate would be the one who would be knowing her in and out and not a mere spectator. So she chose'd to close her heart.

On the other hand, Damien had almost wiped out most of the rouge population in the grief of not tending to his mate and was heading back to his pack.

The only motive to his existence was being with her. He was happy to find her unknown of the lurking danger on his mate, Mason.
