Today is the 2nd Annual Wattpad Writeathon - where our entire team gets together to write stories and spend the day using Wattpad. 

We've all spent a lot of time thinking about what we want to write, and I keep coming back to the same idea. I recently started watching the MTV show, Catfish - about people who fall in love with someone they meet online, and want to take the next step of meeting them in person. 

Overwhelmingly (though probably because it makes for better tv), the person they met online doesn't turn out to be who they presented themselves to be online. I wanted to write a story from the point of view of the pretender, and think about what makes someone start the lie that becomes so hard to end.
