Smith and Jones

I'm back and this is the second book in the series the first is The Time Lady Who Waited and I urge you to read it or it will get a little confusing. Anyway welcome back to my past readers and I hope you enjoy :)

Martha Jones was instantly startled when in the middle of a busy ground a brown haired man in a blue suit looked her in the eye and took his tie off while saying.

''Like so. See?'' Then just like that he walked away again.

However not long after a woman with straight curled at the bottom brown hair walked in up to her and said.

''I'm so sorry, but you'll understand our strange actions later I promise,'' Martha was left stunned as the woman walked away or rather ran to keep up with the man in the long brown coat.

---

''Now then, Mister Smith, a very good morning to you. How are you today?'' The Doctor pulled back the curtain that surrounded the bed to reveal that Mr Smith was actually the Doctor. As well as the Doctor being there Violet and Jones where both sat in chairs next to the bed.

''Oh, not so bad. Still a bit, you know, blah,'' The Doctor replied.

''John Smith, admitted yesterday by his children because of severe abdominal pains. Jones, why don't you see what you can find? Amaze me,'' Jones instantly became confused, but when a woman replied he realised the Doctor had been talking to her.

''That wasn't very clever, running around outside, was it?'' She replied moving over to where the Doctor lay on the bed.

''Sorry?'' The Doctor questioned a little confused.

''On Chancellor Street this morning? You came up to me and took your tie off and you said I'll understand his strange actions later,'' Martha answered looking over at Violet as well.

''Really? What did I do that for?''

''What did we do that far,'' Violet corrected.

''I don't know, you just did,'' The woman replied.

''Not me. I was here, in bed. Ask the nurses.''

''Well, that's weird, cause it looked like you. Have you got a brother?'' She asked.

''No, not any more. Just me,'' He replied a smile growing on his face.

''As time passes and I grow ever more infirm and weary, Miss Jones.''

''Sorry. Right,'' Martha replied moving her stethoscope to his chest, Violet notices her face scrunch up as she realised the Doctor had two hearts. When she looks up at the Doctor again he winks.

''I weep for future generations. Are you having trouble locating the heart, Miss Jones?''

''Er, I don't know. Stomach cramps?'' She replied a little unsure.

''That is a symptom, not a diagnosis. And you rather failed basic techniques by not consulting first with the patient's chart,'' As the Doctor goes to pick up the clipboard the metal clip gives him an electric shock. Violets sees and glances uncertainly over towards Jones, they both knew what was causing it.

''That happened to me this morning,'' Martha piped up.

''I had the same thing on the door handle,'' Someone else added from the group.

''And me, on the lift.''

''That's only to be expected. There's a thunderstorm moving in and lightning is a form of static electricity, as was first proven by. Anyone?'' The Doctor asked expecting his students to answer, but instead 'Mr Smith,' answered.

''Benjamin Franklin.''

 ''Correct.''

''My mate, Ben. That was a day and a half. I got rope burns off that kite, and then I got soaked,'' Violet groaned as the Doctor begun to ramble unaware that to everyone in the room he was acting a little crazy.

''Quite,'' The other Doctor replied taken aback by the sudden outburst of his patient.

''And then I got electrocuted,'' Violet face palmed as the Doctor finished his story flashing a smile towards the group of medical students, specifically Martha.

''Moving on. I think perhaps a visit from psychiatric. And next we have,'' Martha looked back towards the group and smiled at them all, well mainly the Doctor, before she turned and followed her group out the room.

---

It had been around fifteen minutes since the medical students had been in the room and Violet had become extremely board. Jones had left a while ago to look around the hospital, to find out where the person they had come for was indeed in the same building as they were.

The rain hitting the window made Violet jump out of her chair and run towards the window. The view out of the window was exactly as she had expected the rain seemed to be just falling around the hospital building, because she could clearly see that on the roads below the cars driving past weren't being bombarded by water falling from the sky,

''Doct...'' She huffed as she turned around to see that her father was no longer laying on the bed, or even in the room. Taking the hair band from around her wrist she tied her brown hair up into a pony tail, before she then left the room in search of her father.

As she was walking down the halls in search of a wandering Time Lord she passed a window that had a figure stood in front of it and they seemed mesmerised by the rain outside. Violet became instantly confused wondering why someone just stood looking out at the rain as if it wasn't common. Then upon closer inspection she realised why, the rain was going up.
Violet was about to carry on walking when thunder and lightning sounded overhead, but it wasn't that that had made her scream and fall. It was the fact that the building itself had begun to move from side to side, a little to violently for the Time Lady.

''Violet, come on, it's ok,'' Violet was slightly shaken, but was able to take the hand that had been offered to her.

''Where's the Doctor?'' She asked as Jones helped her up off the floor.

''Back in his room I think, well that's what he told me when I passed him in my search for you,'' Jones replied while taking Violet by the arm so they were now stood by the window that Violet had seen the figure look out of earlier.

''We're on the moon, oh how wonderful,'' Violet stated sarcastically as a few people around her begun to scream as they finally realised what had happened to them.

''Look it's the Doctor,'' Jones pointed out as they looked downwards out the window the two had a view of the Doctor and what looked to Violet the same woman who had heard the Doctor's hearts earlier.

''Help me with the window,'' The two opened the window causing someone to shout.

''What do you think your doing, you'll kill us all,''

Violet just shook her head in annoyance and shouted through the open window.

''You two enjoying the view,'' She called down to them and immediately their heads jerked upwards.

''Why would anyone do that?'' Violet heard Martha say meaning they had been in a conversation before Violet interrupted them.

''Head's up! Ask them yourself,'' Violet leaned a little out the window to catch a glance at the ships that where flying over the hospital, ships she knew all too well.

''Judoon,'' Violet, Jones and the Doctor all breathed out at once.

---

''Oh, look down there; you've got a little shop. I like a little shop,''

''You and your shops, if it was up to you every place we go would have a little shop,'' Violet grumbled as she and Jones knelt down beside Martha and the Doctor who were looking down at the entrance of the hospital. It hadn't taken the two long to find the Time Lord and Violet was glad that as the Judoon continued to enter the hospital, they were all together.

''Never mind that. What are Judoon?'' Martha asked trying to get used to saying the name.

''They're like police. Well, police for hire. They're more like interplanetary thugs,'' The Doctor explained.

''They can be a real pain sometimes as well,'' Jones mumbled and Violet to his surprised nodded at his response.

''And they brought us to the moon?'' Martha asked.

''Neutral territory. According to galactic law, they've got no jurisdiction over the Earth, and they isolated it.'' The Doctor explained.

''Oh I love the galactic law so much totally doesn't aggravate me in the slightest,'' Jones added sarcastically, earning a glare from the Doctor, but looking at Violet he could tell she was trying not to smile.

'' That rain, lightning? That was them, using an H2O scoop,'' The Doctor continued to explain to Martha acting as if Jones had not spoken.

''What are you on about, galactic law? Where'd you get that from? If they're police, are we under arrest? Are we trespassing on the moon or something?'' Martha asked.

''No, but I like that. Good thinking. No, I wish it were that simple. They're making a catalogue. That means they're after something non human, which is very bad news for me,'' Violet coughed and the Doctor added ''Us.''

''Why? Oh, you're kidding me. Don't be ridiculous. Stop looking at me like that,'' She said as all three of them gave her the same look.

''Come on then,'' The Doctor finally said standing up from their hiding place. With one look down at the Judoon below them, Violet, Jones and Martha followed behind him.

Violet was about to follow the Doctor, Martha and Jones into one of the rooms full of computers when something made her stop in her tracks. A flyer was laid flat on the floor just to the left of where she was standing. Bending down she picked it up, on the front was the face a blonde haired man with an unsettling grin on his face. Across the top of the flyer were the words, 'Vote Saxon,' one glance of the name sent her head in a spin with a noise and it was almost as if the man on the flyer was causing the sound to occur because the moment she closed her eyes and looked away, the thudding stopped.

''Vi you ok?'' She tuned to see Jones behind her, he must have realised she'd not entered the room with them.

''Yeah, I was just in my own world for a minute,'' It was the best excuse she could come up with, worry Jones wasn't what she wanted to do.

With that said she scrunched the flyer up and put it in the bin behind the door of the room Martha and the Doctor where in.
''Something that looks human, but isn't,'' The Doctor spoke referring to who the Judoon were looking for.

''Like you, apparently,'' Martha replied, as she watched him continue to tap away at the keys of the computer.
''All of us actually,'' Jones put in and Martha shook her head in disbelief.

''Like us. But not us,'' The Doctor corrected Martha.

''Haven't they got a photo?'' Martha asked, probably wondering why the Judoon had to search every single person in the hospital.

''Well, might be a shape-changer,'' The Doctor replied shutting down Martha's suggestion.

''Whatever it is, can't you just leave the Judoon to find it?'' Martha pointed out.

''If they declare the hospital guilty of harbouring a fugitive, they'll sentence it to execution,'' The Doctor explained furiously tapping at the keyboard looking for anything that could help them.

''Which isn't good,'' Jones added.

''Yes thank you Jones for your much needed input.''

''All of us?'' Martha asked getting in between the bickering aliens.

''Oh yes. If I can find this thing first. Oh! You see, they're thick! Judoon are thick! They are completely thick! They wiped the records. Oh, that's clever,'' The Doctor exclaimed as stood up away from the computer.

''Judoon clever your joking right?'' Jones piped up.

''Evidently he is not,'' Violet confirmed as she looked at the various files on the computer herself and could not find anything either.

''What are we looking for?'' Martha asked, glancing around wanting at least one of them to give her an answer.

''I don't know. Say, any patient admitted in the past week with unusual symptoms. Maybe there's a back-up,'' The Doctor said truthfully.

''Just keep working. I'll go ask Mister Stoker. He might know,'' Martha suggested.

''I'll keep you company,'' Violet gave Martha no choice in the matter as she followed right behind her.

---

''I should introduce myself probably, I'm Violet by the way,'' Violet spoke to Martha as they wandered down the hall in search of Stoker.

''Martha Jones. Um if you don't mind me asking what's he to you, the Doctor that is?'' Martha asked and Violet could tell she wasn't comfortable with asking the question.

''He's my dad,'' Violet laughed as she answered and she could almost see that Martha's smile was one of relief.

''So is Jones really your brother then?'' Martha asked picking up his name from what the Doctor had called him earlier.

''No he's just a friend. Just a friend,'' She muttered the last part as if she was unsure, but brushed the uncertainly off as her an Martha proceeded to open the door of Stoker's office.

''Mister Stoker?'' The girl's eyes went wide as they saw a pair of feet ticking out from under his desk. They become wider as an old woman stands up with a straw sticking out off her mouth. The three look between each other and when Violet
nodded her head, her and Martha bolted out of the room.

''Kill them!'' The woman screamed ordering figures dressed in leather out of the room and after the girls.

As they run the girls eventually run into Jones and the doctor. Jones caught Violet as she literally collided with him.
''Whoa,'' Jones commented as he held the Time Lady up by her waist.

''I've restored the back-up,'' The Doctor said unaware that the two women in front of him were out of breath.

''I found her,'' Martha breathed out before the Doctor continued.

''You did what?'' As the words left the Doctors mouth the door to Stoker's office broke revelling both of the men dressed in leather.

''Run!'' The Doctor shouted and none of them need telling twice as they took down the corridor towards some stairs, however, the Judoon start to come up the stairs so they end running up the stairs instead of down them. Through all this one of the men was still behind them.

Finally a little out of breath the four pass through a door that read radiology. The Doctor quickly locks the door with his sonic and pulls all of them behind the radiation screen.

''When I say now, press the button,'' The Doctor told Martha and Jones as he pulled Violet with him.

''But I don't know which one,'' Martha shouted.

''Then find out! Jones one of your clever books,'' The Doctor shouted as he noticed Jones direct Martha to the right button.

''No, the other way around,'' Violet pointed out untangling the wires the Doctor had messed up and put them in the places they should go.

''What would I do without you,'' The Doctor commented with a smile as he watched his daughter.

''Probably get yourself electrocuted or killed by the Judoon. I mean I could go on,'' She replied with a grin of her own that faltered slightly as she heard the man in leather getting ever closer to breaking down the door to the room.

''Now!'' The Doctor screamed as he grabbed Violet shielding her from the light that hits the man in leather giving him a huge dose of radiation.

''What did you do?'' Martha questioned as the man fell flat on the floor, seemingly not moving.

''Increased the radiation by five thousand per cent. Killed him dead,'' The Doctor responded.

''But isn't that going to kill you two?'' Martha asked looking between the Time Lords.

''Nah, it's only roentgen radiation. We used to play with roentgen bricks in the nursery. It's safe for you to come out. I've absorbed it all. All I need to do is expel it. If I concentrate I can shake the radiation out of my body and into one spot. It's in my left shoe. Here we go, here we go. Easy does it. Out, out, out, out, out. Out, out. Ah, ah, ah, ah! It is, it is, it is, it is, it is hot. Hold on,'' The Doctor hops around on one foot for a bit as he tries to shake the radiation out so it was just in his shoe.
Violet on the other hand made sure the radiation she absorbed was trapped inside the ring that hung around her neck. She made a note that she needed to rid of the radiation at some point, but for now it was harmful and that's all that mattered.

''Done,'' The Doctor stated as he took off his shoe and threw it into the bin.

''You're completely mad,'' Martha pointed out.

''You don't get used to it,'' Jones muttered.

''You're right. I look daft with one shoe,'' Violet groaned as the Doctor proceeded to take his other shoe off and throw it into the bin as well.

''That's totally not what she meant, but hey nobody's listening to me,'' Jones mumbled again.

''Barefoot on the moon,'' The Doctor grinned wriggling his toes as all three people in the room sighed.

''So what is that thing? And where's it from, the planet Zovirax?'' Martha asked as they all bent down to look the leather clad man.

''It's a slab,'' Jones replied.

''Basic slave drones. See? Solid leather, all the way through. Someone has got one hell of a fetish,'' The Doctor explained not even questioning how Jones knew it was a slab.

''But it was that woman, Miss Finnegan. It was working for her, just like a servant,'' Martha spoke coming to a sudden realisation.

''Oh dear,'' They all looked up as in her hand Violet held a sonic screwdriver that had seen better days.

''My sonic screwdriver,'' The Doctor grasped taking it from his daughter.

''She was one of the patients, but...'' Martha was cut off as the Doctor continued to pine over his fired sonic.

''Oh, no. My sonic screwdriver.''

''She had a straw like some kind of vampire,'' Martha tried again, but he still wasn't listening to her.

''I loved my sonic screwdriver.''

''Doctor,'' Martha shouted and this time she got his attention.

''Sorry,'' He apologised throwing the Sonic behind him.

''You called me Doctor,'' He pointed out and Violet only just realised that was the first time Martha had actually called him that.

''Anyway? Miss Finnegan is the alien. She was drinking Mister Stoker's blood,'' Martha said finally getting out what she had wanted to say earlier.

''Funny time to take a snack. You'd think she'd be hiding. Unless. No. Yes, that's it. Wait a minute. Yes! Shape-changer.

Internal shape-changer. She wasn't drinking blood, she was assimilating it,'' The Doctor exclaimed.

''Oh that's a bit clever,'' Even though he didn't like to admit Jones found it a little fascinating.

''Yes it is and if she can assimilate Mister Stoker's blood, mimic the biology, she'll register as human. We've got to find her and show the Judoon. Come on!'' The Doctor shouted grabbing onto Martha.

''Today's been quite the work out,'' Violet huffed at Jones's comment as they followed admittedly slowly after the doctor and Martha.

Once Violet and Jones finally caught up with Martha and the Doctor, they found them hidden behind a water dispenser as another slab walked past them and down the hall.

''That's the thing about Slabs. They always travel in pairs,'' The Doctor explained.

''What about you?'' Martha asked, the question directed at all of them and not just the Doctor.

''What about me what?'' the Doctor answered with another question.

''Haven't you got back-up? You must have a partner or something?'' Martha asked.

''Oh. Humans. We're stuck on the moon running out of air with Judoon and a bloodsucking criminal, you're asking personal questions? Come on,'' The Doctor groaned.

'We sort of do, but only for real emergencies. They'd be not use for this,'' Violet explained and Martha nodded, keeping a question in mind that if they had time she hopped to ask Violet.

''I like that. Humans. I'm still not convinced you lot are aliens,'' The Doctor smiled at Martha's words, but it disappeared as he got up, suddenly seeing eye to eye with a Judoon.

''Non-human,'' It stated.

''Oh my God, you really are,'' Martha gasped realising that Violet and Jones were probably telling the truth as well.

''And again,'' The Doctor exclaimed grabbing Martha's arm and running off leaving Violet and Jones stood in front of a Judoon.

''Er hi,'' Jones greeted with a smile, but the Judoon just snorted at them and took off after the Doctor and Martha.

''Come on we've got to find that shape changer woman,'' Violet said pulling Jones down the corridor.

Violet became worried as she noticed some patients and medical staff start to slump against walls and on the floor. Her and Jones had made their way up to one of the floors that had already been checked by the Judoon, so there was no danger they would be caught and scanned.

''Oxygen is running out,'' Jones mumbled as he started finding it hard to breath himself.

''I forget your like humans only one heart. I still don't know how you cope,'' Violet replied looking over at Jones every so often to see if he was ok.

''She's gone. She was here,'' Violets ears perked up at the sound of Martha's voice coming from the corridor and it was then she realised they were headed towards Stokers office.

''Drained him dry. Every last drop. I was right. She's a plasmavore,'' The Doctor explained as the two entered the room.

''She shouldn't be here,'' Jones wheezed out as he found it harder to breath in.

''What's she doing on Earth?'' Martha asked at the same time feeling concerned at the state Jones was in.

''Hiding. On the run. Like Ronald Biggs in Rio de Janeiro. What's she doing now? She's still not safe. The Judoon could execute us all. Come on,'' The Doctor called turning the run out of the room again.

''Wait a minute,'' Martha called. She bent down and closed stoker's eyes so he looked like he was at peace.

---

''Violet,'' Jones's voice was weak as he struggled to breath in.

''It'll be ok, in out Jones, come look at me,'' Martha had stood in front of him and grabbed hold of his shoulders because his voice had been but a whisper Violet hadn't heard him call. While Martha had his breathing steady she reached out to the wall to find an oxygen mask conveniently there.

''Here this will help,'' Once on he felt he could breathe again, ''Slowly, there's not a lot left,'' Martha added and Jones stopped gulping in the air and breathed like he would normally.

''Think, think, think. If I was a plasmavore surrounded by police, what would I do?'' Meanwhile Violet and the Doctor where both trying to look for Florence or at least a solution.

''Look,'' Violet spoke pointing up at a sign that read MRI.

''Ah. She's as clever as us. Almost,'' The Doctor grinned.

''Find the non-human. Execute,'' Violet gasped as the Judoon's deep Voice suddenly flooded the floor.

''Martha, stay here. I need time. You've got to hold them up,'' The Doctor explained, his eyes widened slightly when he saw Jones, but the thumbs up the solider gave him, reassured him slightly.

''How do I do that?'' Martha questioned.

''Just forgive me for this. It could save a thousand lives. It means nothing. Honestly, nothing,'' The Doctor then grabbed Martha and kissed her, before then grabbing his daughter hand and running round the corner towards the MRI room.

---

The moment Father and daughter entered the room they could both clearly see Florence stood in the booth fiddling around with all the buttons and wires.

''Have you seen them? There are these things. These great big space rhino things. I mean, rhinos from space. And we're on the moon! Great big space rhinos with guns on the moon. And I only came in for my bunions, look. I mean, all fixed now. Perfectly good treatment. The nurses were lovely. I said to my daughter , I said I'd recommend this place to anyone, but then we end up on the moon. And did I mention the rhinos?'' The Doctor exclaimed.

''You've got to admit they look kind of cool though I did think it was all fake of course, but its real, we're on the moon and alien rhinos. Who'd of thought it, defiantly not me for sure,'' Violet added.

''Hold her and knock him out,'' Violets eyes widened as the slab knocked the Doctor out and held her tightly in his grasp.

''You'd thought I wouldn't notice,'' Florence spoke looking Violet directly in the eye.

''I'm sorry?'' Violet asked confused at Florence's question.

''Violet, future...''

''Yeah I know you don't need to say it. Anyway I'm sure that's not supposed to make that noise is it?'' Violet asked nodding towards the machine behind the glass.

''You wouldn't understand, or maybe you would,'' Florence replied.

''It's a magnetic resonance imaging thing? Like a ginormous sort of a magnet?'' Violet said, wishing the Doctor could hear her because she was sure he'd be proud of her knowledge.

''The magnetic setting now increased to fifty thousand Tesla,'' Florence commented.

''that's a bit strong, isn't it?'' Violet replied, cringing a little.

''It'll send out a magnetic pulse that'll fry the brain stems of every living thing within two hundred and fifty thousand miles. Except for me, safe in this room,'' Florence added a smile on her face.

''Doesn't that distance include the Earth?'' Violet asked horrified, by what she was hearing, how she wished she had gotten knocked out rather than the Doctor,

''Only the side facing the moon. The other half will survive. Call it my little gift. With everyone dead, the Judoon ships will be mine, to make my escape,'' Florence said the grin still wide on her face.

''You do know they're increasing their scans right,'' Violet piped up.

''They're doing what?'' Violet watched as her grin fell from her face, ''Then I must assimilate again,'' Florence added numbering to herself.

''Using who, I'm not exactly human am I.''

''No, but I'm willing to bet your friend is. Hold her so she doesn't interfere,'' The slabs hold on the Time Lady tightened as Florence took her straw and pushed it into the Doctor's neck vein.

---

Florence hadn't been drinking for long until a Judoon entered the room, meaning she had to quickly throw her straw into her handbag.

''Now see what you've done. This poor man just died of fright,'' Florence exclaimed as the slab let go of Violet.

''Scan him. Confirmation. Deceased,'' The Judoon stated, believing her words.

''But it was her. She killed him. She did it. She murdered him,'' Violet and Martha shouted out at the same time.

''Judoon have no authority over human crime.''

''But she's not human,'' Martha protested.

''Oh, but I am. I've been catalogued,'' Florence replied smiling sweetly.

''But she's not! She assimi. Wait a minute. You drank his blood? The Doctor's blood?'' Violet grabbed the Judoon's scanner while Martha spoke and pointed it Florence.

''Oh, I don't mind. Scan all you like.''

''Oh I will,'' Violet replied scanning Florence then giving it to the Judoon so they could read it.

''Non-human,'' Martha and Violet grinned exchanging a hug as well.

''But, what?'' Florence protested.

''Confirm analysis.''

''Oh, but it's a mistake, surely. I'm human. I'm as human as they come, unlike her scan her she's defiantly not human.''

''We know she is the future...''

''You don't have to finish that,'' Violet said cutting the Judoon off. It gave her a nod and turned back to Florence.
It was then Violet realised someone was missing. She ran out the room to see Jones slumped against the wall of the corridor.

''Jones,'' She whispered, ''Oh god wake up, please come on tell me your still alive,'' Violet pleaded as she shook him, but there was not movement.

''You can't go! That thing's going to explode and it's your fault!'' Violet heard Martha shouting, but she sounded so far away. Her vision begun to blur as she realised the lack of oxygen in the building was starting to affect her now.

 ---

Violet hears dull footsteps approach and a voice that she recognised.

''Come on, come on, come on, come on, please. Come on, Judoon, reverse it,'' Even in her delirious state she could hair the tap, tap as rain begun to hit the window. They were going back to earth, that was when she finally allowed the darkness to swallow her mind.

---

''I went to the moon today,'' Martha sated as she approached the Doctor and Violet who stood outside the Tardis.

''A bit more peaceful than down here,'' The Doctor replied referring to the shouting match he had heard go on between Martha's family.

''You never even told me who you are. Who all of you are,'' She added the last part as an afterthought.

''The Doctor.''

''Violet and Commander Michael Jones. Whose resting at the moment,'' Violet added.

''What sort of species? It's not every day I get to ask that,'' Martha laughed as she spoke.

''We're Time Lords,'' The Doctor answered gestering to Violet anfd himself before then adding, ''Jones is a Chimeron.''

''He's a humanoid of sorts,'' Violet commented

''Right! Not pompous at all, then,'' Martha replied her smile growing wider by the second.

''I just thought since you saved my life and I've got a brand new sonic screwdriver which needs road testing, you might fancy a trip,'' The Doctor stated showing off his new sonic as he spoke.

''What, into space?'' Martha asked.

''Well,'' The Time lords said at the same time.

''But I can't. I've got exams. I've got things to do. I have to go into town first thing and pay the rent, I've got my family going mad,'' Martha rambled off.

''If it helps, I can travel in time as well,'' The Doctor replied.

''Get out of here,'' Martha exclaimed not believing him in the slightest.

''Oh we can,'' Violet defended, a small grin rested on her lips.

''Come on now, that's going too far,'' Martha added still not convinced.

''I'll prove it,'' Violet coughed at his comment, before he then said, ''We'll prove it.''

It dosn't take long for the Tardis to disappear then materialise again. This time the Doctor came out holding his tie in his hand, with Violet poking her head around the door, her hair clearly messed up from the wind and having to run after a certain Time Lord.

''Told you.'' The Doctor said with a grin evident on his face.

'No, but, that was this morning. Did you? Oh, my God. You can travel in time. But hold on. If you could see me this morning, why didn't you tell me not to go in to work?'' Martha asked.

''Crossing into established events is strictly forbidden. Except for cheap tricks,'' The Doctor explained.

''And that's your spaceship?'' Martha asked gesturing towards the Tardis.

''It's called the Tardis. Time and Relative Dimension in Space,'' The Doctor explained.

''Your spaceship's made of wood. There's not much room. We'd be a bit intimate, especially four of us,'' Martha commented.
''Take a look,'' The Doctor offered and Violet stepped out to allow Martha to step inside.

''No, no, no,'' Violet grinned as Martha came out to join her back in the alleyway, ''But it's just a box. But it's huge,'' She exclaimed as she then ran back inside the Tardis.

I gust of wind sent shivers down the Time ladies spine, she felt as if someone was watching her, but as she turned all she saw were a few Vote Saxon posters flapping in the light breeze that floated through into the alleyway.

Violet shook the feeling off, but as she turned to go back inside the Tardis she heard the same light drumming noise she had heard earlier in the hospital. She shook it off since the moment she entered the Tardis and shut the door, the noise was gone.
