I'm alive. How am I alive. I was dead. I remember gun shots. then terrible pain. I remember my mother, and being forgiven for all I've done. I thought for sure I was dead. No I knew for sure I was dead. But somehow I'm alive.

My body is stiff, I can't move a muscle. Then a thought pops into my head. Is Tobias around? Does he know I'm alive?

I try to move and manage to move my arm to my chest. I force my eyes open. I hear the constant beep on my heart on the heart monitor. As I move the beeping pics up speed.

"She's awake."says a voice from the corner. I hear foot steps all over the room now. There must be a bunch of people in this room."Go get the boy. He must be the first person she sees."says another voice.

I'm confussed. Who are they talking about? Then the room goes quiet. My eyes have closed again.

Then I hear him. The only one I want to see. I remember his voice and those beautiful dark blue eyes. His strong embrace.

"Tris are you really awake?"asks Tobias. He's now holding my hand. I force my eyes open again and stare into his eyes.

"Tobias?"I say. Its the onlyt thing I can manage to say. My throat feel swollen, my voice comes out scratchy and ruff. A smile lights up Tobias's face. He leans down and presses a kiss to my lips."I'm so happy your finally awake."says Tobias.

I'm weak but I still manage to smile at him."How long have I been out?"I ask. Tobias doesn't answer at first. He stands up straight and looked to the side."Someone else needs to explain everything to you. Besides they could do it better then I could."says Tobias.

I start to panic now. Tobias isn't answering me. Why doesn't he answer me? I know he would never keep really important imformation from me. I need to know what's going on.

The heart monitor starts to pick up speed due to my panic. Tobias places his hand on mine."Calm down Tris. Freaking out will do you no good."says Tobias. I know he's right. But I'm starting to get angry.

"Tobias what's going on? I want to know what's going on and I want to know now."I say. He just stares at me for a while. What's going on. Its driving me insane."Are you sure we can't wait till..."says Tobias. But I interupt him."Now Tobias."I say.

He looks me straight in the eyes. But he finally nods."OK I'll tell you."says Tobias. I nod and try to sit up.

"Here let me help you."says Tobias. He helps me sit up."Now how long have I been out?"I ask.

He takes a deep breath before he answer."You've been unconscious for three years."says Tobias. My jaw drops in shock.
