Short 6: Hall Family Apartment Visit

Blitz and his family are visiting Zak and his family at their apartment. They walk to the front door of an apartment building that has the number 514 one it. Blitz then knocks on the door, and the door opens to reveal Zak.

"Hey Blitz, glad to see you and your family accept my invite," Zak says.

"Well, Charlie and the others are doing an activity that involves them leaving the hotel today, so we decide to visit you and your family," Blitz says.

"Great," Zak says and moves to the side, "Come on in."

Blitz and the family walk into the apartment to see the place is kind of small, but it also clearly shows an apartment for one pair of parents and single child. There is a couch, a chair, a television, along with a kitchen, that Zoey is in, making some snacks and drinks.

Zoey turns to see them, "Hi Blitz, glad you and your family made it. Were you able to find the place, okay?"

"We got a little lost, but we managed to make it," Blitz says.

"Good to hear it," Zak says.

Then Zoey says, "Zak, can you let our son know Blitz and the others are here."

"Sure," Zak says and walks towards the door that is Ash's room.

Zak knocks on the door, "Ash, Blitz and the others are here."

"Coming dad," Ash says.

He soon walks out to see Blitz and the others.

"Hi Blitz. Loona. Keenan. Tilla," Ash says.

He then blushes a bit to see Aurora and says, "Hi Aurora."

"Hi Ash, it's good to see you again," Aurora says.

"It's cool," Ash says, remaining calm.

"Hey Ash, why not show the kids to your room while our mother and I chat with Blitz. We'll call you when snacks are ready," Zak says.

"Sure dad," Ash says.

Then Loona says, "I think I'll just hang out in the living room."

"Okay Loona," Blitz says.

Shortly after...

Ash presents Aurora, Keenan, and Tilla to his bedroom. His room is a single bedroom that has white pillows, white sheets, with a black and red plaid blanket over it. There are a few figures and toys. There's even a television set with a video game set, and other essentials. His closet is full of clothes, and he has some sports stuff and balls for baseball, basketball, soccer, a rubber ball, and football. It seems like a normal room for a boy his age.

"Wow. the place looks cool," Keenan says.

"Yeah. It looks really nice," Aurora says.

"Thanks. I like it too," Ash says.

Keenan looks at the box in front of the television, "Hey Ash, what is that strange box with plugs?"

"That's a video game console," Ash says, "I'm guessing you don't have video games there."

"No. We don't have this kind of technology," Aurora says.

"Yeah. We don't play video games where we're from, but I definitely love playing sports," Keenan says.

"Me too," Ash says with a smile, "What's your favorite sport?"

"I like playing baseball, basketball, and other games, but my favorite is soccer," Keenan says.

"That's cool. My favorite is baseball," Ash says.

Then Ash turns to Aurora, "What about you, Aurora? Do you play sports?"

"A little. I do like playing ball with my brother," Aurora says and thinking a bit, "But I really do enjoy dancing, especially ballet, singing, ice skating, and swimming."

"Ice skating?" Ash questions.

"Yes. I just love skating on the ice and flying through the air and spinning. Same with ballet," Aurora says. She then twirls around and stops to say, "I sometimes like to think that ballet and ice skating are similar."

Ash smiles, "Well, I think you look graceful when you twirl like that. I bet you did great on the ice."

Aurora blushes with a smile, "Thank you, Ash."

"Uh, you're welcome," Ash says, feeling embarrassed.

Then Ash says, "Anyway, you wanna play some games?"

"Sure," Aurora and Keenan say.

Ash begins to plug in the game system as he says, "I'll explain to you all how to play as we go along so you won't get confused."

Sometime later, in the living room...

"So, Blitz, how's traveling though the old memory lane going," Zak asks.

"I'm doing a little okay," Blitz answers.

"Stolas told me you remember a little during their first meeting," Zak says.

"That's right. My memories are still blurry, but I'm working on it," Blitz says.

"By the way, I heard you got a cellphone?" Zoey asks.

"That's right, but we're being careful because we don't want to risk Vox eavesdropping on us," Loona says.

"Yeah. So far, we haven't had much trouble, but Charlie, Vaggie, Angel, and even Alastor advises us to keep our guard up," Blitz says.

"Good call," Zak says.

"Speaking of which, how are things going at the hotel?" Zoey asks.

"I've been doing fine," Blitz says, "There's been a few activities we did at the hotel and Charlie and the others have been helping me adjust to modern tech and hell's environment, but it's still a learning progress."

"That's good to know," Zak says.

"And glad to see that our children are getting along," Zoey says.

"Yeah. Aurora, Keenan, and Tilla really get along with Ash, but I think Ash and Aurora are really starting to get along," Loona says.

"I have to agree," Blitz says.

"So, Loona, how have you been doing?" Zoey asks.

"I've been doing good," Loona answers, "Of course, it still feels a bit weird to be back here after so long. When I ended up in the other world when I was like five. And after so long, I ended up back here."

"That sounds a lot to take in," Zoey says.

"It was. When I was little, it happened so fast, but after adjusting, I really love the other world and love being raised by my dad, my mother, and helping out with my brother and sisters," Loona says.

"That's good to hear. You sure are one tough cookie," Zak says.

"Thanks. I guess," Loona says.

Then Zak says, "I know a lot of great places to hang out, including for girls your age. I even know great places where I take Keenan."

"That's nice of you, Zak," Blitz says.

"Hey, anyway I can help you and your family after you've been gone for twentyfive years," Zak says.

Then Blitz asks, "Hey Zak, do you think I'll ever be able to remember?"

"Well, seeing how much you're able to remember, I'm sure you'll regain more of your memory in due time. Still, I think it's a good idea to get a medical check for you and your family," Zak says.

Zoey rolls her eyes, "Stolas is trying to get an appointment, but it's a bit slow."

"I see," Blitz says.

He then asks, "But what about my family? My birth family, and my other childhood friends? Do you think I'll be able to see them again?"

"Well..." Zak says, thinking, "It would be best to wait until you get used to being around Hell a little longer, and things have happened."

"I understand," Blitz says.

"But at least we know where one of them is, but it won't be easy because he does work with the Sin of Hell," Zoey adds.

"Meanwhile, one of our other old friends is difficult to track down because she's in her food truck business," Zak adds.

And Zak reassures, "But don't worry, we'll work together to figure all this out."

"Thanks guys," Blitz says.

Zoey then places the snacks and the drinks on the table and says, "Kids, snacks are ready!"

The kids then walk out of the room and join the adults and begin to have snacks and drinks as they chat to themselves with smiles on their faces.
