Short 18: World Knowledge Collide
In the hotel's library, Blitz is doing some reading and can't stop thinking about what happened during the Enchantress Ghost incident. The fact that an enchantress has found her way to Hell and to Earth is shocking, and able to bring her spell book. What's more, Wickens has been able to do the same in order to imprison her. Blitz tries to find any information in the books if something like this has happened before. So far, nothing.
Blitz hears a knock at the door, he calls out, "Come in."
The door opens, and Charlie, Vaggie, and even Stolas walk into the room.
"I figure you are here," Charlie says.
"Hi guys," Blitz says.
"What are you doing, Blitz?" Stolas asks.
"Researching," Blitz says.
"It's about the incident with Margaret, right?" Vaggie asks.
"That's right, but so far, there hasn't been any stories about demons traveling to other worlds, just the crystals that allow you to go to Earth and back to Hell. And demons can't go to Heaven, not even for a visit," Blitz says.
"Well, it is strange to learn that beings from Thaumarata have come to Hell in the past. It's very strange," Charlie says.
"I know what you mean. I don't remember in my studies about Thaumarata having spells that can teleport them to other worlds or universes," Blitz says.
"I'm afraid I'm baffled about it as well. Even I tried to find some information about what you, Zak and Zoey explained. So far, there aren't many details about this enchantress at all," Stolas says.
"Same with me," Charlie says, "I couldn't find anything about it either."
Vaggie stretches her chin and thinks, "It's very strange."
Blitz sighs, "It's too bad I wasn't able to get the spell book before it was destroyed. Maybe I will be able to find the spell or any information on her."
"True, but from what you explained, having that kind of spell book is very dangerous, especially in the wrong hands," Vaggie says.
"Vaggie is right. As much as I understand why it's important to keep the book around, if it falls in powerful dangerous hands, it could be dangerous, so maybe it being destroyed is for the best," Charlie says.
"I guess you're right. Still, it makes me wonder how she got here, it must take powerful magic to create a portal to another world. Teleportation is not an easy spell to pull off," Blitz says.
"Well, with you being a powerful mage, I can imagine you learn that spell yourself," Vaggie says.
"Yes. I did, but that spell can sometimes drain your stamina, especially when you're teleporting more than one person, or very far distances. And Thaumarata has cars and other vehicles to get around so there isn't much use for it. Then again, not everyone can use magic or have a strong amount of it," Blitz explains.
"Thaumarata is quite a peculiar place. However, it would appear that it's similar to Hell and perhaps even Earth, only the other worlds have more than the Demons you call Infernoians and Angels called Celestians, and other forms of creatures," Stolas says.
"What about Heaven?" Blitz asks.
"Well, it's hard for me to say because I've never been to Heaven before. My dad might give you an idea, but that happened a very very long time ago. It probably changed a lot since my dad was there," Charlie says.
"That's true. I sometimes forget that your dad has been there since before the start of Hell and was an angel in Heaven himself," Blitz says.
"Yeah. He and the sins have been around since the start of Hell, we my dad and mom technically created Hell, and it's been around for eons," Charlie says.
"Still, it's kind of astonishing to know that in Thaumarata angels and demons got along," Vaggie says.
"Well, not always," Blitz says.
"I figured as much," Stolas says.
Blitz nods, "Yes. Back then, Infernoians and Celestians didn't get along at all, and have caused multiple wars and conflict towards each other eons ago. When they see the damages, the war has caused, the loss of their homes and loved ones especially for the royals."
"Royals?" Charlie says, confused.
"Yes," Blitz says, "Legend has it, an Infernoain Prince and a Celestian Princess were very in love with each other, but their families forbid them to be together. One day, when the recent war caused the prince's death, the princess became so devastated that she ended up performing a spell that would allow them to be together, but it ended up costing her life. Their bodies disintegrated and blew away. All the citizens of the two kingdoms can hear the happy laughter the lovers have while being together. That is when they put their differences aside and create a new kingdom. Of course, some Infernoians and Celestian either live in a group together or separate groups to find new homes."
"That's so sad," Charlie says.
"Yes, and there's a moral to it," Blitz says.
"A very good moral if you were in their shoes," Charlie says. Then sighs, "Makes me wish that angels and demons can work out their differences here."
"Maybe someday they will," Blitz says.
"Maybe, but it won't be easy," Stolas says.
"Well, nothing is easy to be honest. It is also important to work things out, and hope things go well. It won't be easy to keep things together, but it's part of life," Blitz says.
"Same with learning about the mysteries of Hell and Thaumarata. I have to wonder if there's an odd connection between them," Charlie says.
"It's a good theory, but it's hard to know what really happened," Vaggie says.
"I have to agree with you on that. It's hard to know if Hell and Thaumarata have a connection to the incident, " Blitz says.
"Well, we'll figure that out eventually," Stolas says, "And how you and your family ended up fitting into it."
Blitz nods in response, "I'm sure we will."
