From the Journal of Alexander Achilleus

"Days after the raid, the Faunus of the 13th Legionis Imperatorie were getting sick of this so called "Rebellion". The Mistral Partisans. The Children of Menagerie. The Khan Loyalists. The Vale Hardliners. The Desert Reapers. The Imperium Marauders. The Templars of Belladonna. The Freedom Fighters of Argus. Even the Atlesian Holdouts were rumored to have aligned themselves with the Rebels. At first, we believed that these Rebels were too scattered to pose anything other than a nuisance, but these Rebels were different. They were organized, they were growing, and they were everywhere."

At the Star Forge, Alexander Achilleus reported the results of the raid on the Mistral Partisans to Emperor Adam Taurus. As Alexander presented this report, Adam became troubled. 

Adam: This is most troubling, Commisarius Achilleus. If the rumors I have been hearing are true, then these Rebel groups are preparing to unite under one banner. 

Alexander: Do you think these Rebels are capable of doing so?

Adam: Perhaps. Perhaps not. But that is something we cannot take a chance on. Commisarius Achilleus. I want you and the Faunus of the 13th Legionis Imperatorie to hunt down and eliminate these Rebels. If they are allowed to go unchecked, then they will not stop until everything that we have built is reduced to ashes and the Faunus will....

Suddenly, an explosion was heard in the distance. Adam and Alexander looked out the window to see an Imperium Military Base in flames. Suddenly, a message was broadcasted.

???(Broadcast): Citizens of Remnant, my name is Oren.

As the man announced his name, Alexander recognized the name from the letter he found during the raid on the Mistral Partisans.

Oren(Broadcast): I'll...keep this brief. Once upon a time, Remnant was a land of peace. But then the Imperium came and enslaved millions of innocent people! For too long, innocents have slaved away in mines all for ego of the man you call Emperor Adam Taurus. Many in the Imperium call this man a Hero. Many have call this man a savior. But that is a lie. Adam Taurus is a monster. A monster who climbed on a mountain made from the corpses of millions of innocents, Human and Faunus alike. The single quality that is common across every living creature on this planet... is fear. It's funny then, that as common as fear is... we so easily underestimate its power. The Imperium uses fear to keep us in control. To enslave us. On this day, myself and a group of like minded individuals have banded together to free Remnant from the iron grip of the Imperium. Adam Taurus. I know you're watching from your ivory throne in the Star Forge.  You have no idea what you've brought upon yourself, Adam Taurus. You may have conquered Remnant, but an Empire built on war and fear will not last. Now you will reap what you have sown. People of Remnant. We are the Alliance To Restore The Kingdoms of Remnant! It is up to you to take the first step.

With that, the broadcast ended. In the Star Forge, there was silence. Alexander and the rest of the Faunus on board the Star Forge were stunned. As for Adam, he saw something familiar with Oren. The way he spoke was something he recognized. After a moment of silence, Adam spoke to Alexander. 

Adam: The enemy has revealed themselves, Commisarius Achilleus. It is clear that this...Oren is the one rallying these Rebels. They seek to tear down the Imperium and restore the system of Kingdoms that had the Faunus slaves to the Humans. He seeks to destroy all that we have worked for. Oren has declared war on the Imperium. Commisarius  Alexander Achilleus, you and the Faunus of the 13th Legionis Imperatorie have been directed by the highest authority. You will be the vanguard in our war against these Rebels. You will lead our forces in hunting down and destroying these Rebels before they can destroy all that we have worked for. 

As Adam says this, Alexander took a moment to process this. He knew that such an undertaking would not be easy. Oren had already demonstrated the ability to strike at Imperium targets. After a moment, Alexander saluted Adam.

Alexander: The 13th Legionis Imperatorie will hunt down these Rebels to the ends of Remnant, Emperor Taurus. They will not escape Imperium justice. 

With that, Alexander salutes Adam and exits the Star Forge to prepare the 13th Legionis Imperatorie for the hunt to come. As Adam was left alone with HK-47, the faithful Assassin Droid speaks.

HK-47: Observation: So the meatbag Ozpin reincarnated into the meatbag Oren. 

Adam: It seems Ozpin didn't get the message the last time I killed him. And now he's declared war on the Imperium. 

HK-47: Statement: Penny and I will gladly hunt down these meatbags and exterminate them with extreme prejudice, Master.

Adam: It won't be long until Oren makes his next move. I want the Imperium prepared for when it does. 

HK-47: Compliance: As you wish, Master. 

With that, Adam Taurus prepared for war against Oren and the Alliance To Restore the Kingdoms. In that moment, the Imperium faced their first true enemy. 

With Oren and the Alliance To Restore the Kingdoms now revealed, the Imperium prepared for war. It was clear to all of us that whoever this Oren was, he meant business. That little speech he made was a clear indicator of what was to come. He was gearing for war against the Imperium and the cost of failure meant total catastrophe to our way of life. To say that failure was not an option would be a vast understatement.
