Chapter Twenty-One - Wishing for Help

Pressure pushing down on me

Pressing down on you, no man ask for

Under pressure that burns a building down

Splits a family in two

Puts people on streets

It's the terror of knowing

What this world is about

Watching some good friends

Screaming, "Let me out!"

Under Pressure - Queen

Energon dripped from a broken frame as Megatron cast aside the half-dead femme. Metallicar winced, clutching her spark. "I.... Can't..." She muttered. "Gah! 'M sorry... So sorry Mary." She sobbed in pain and fear.

"What was that?" Megatron glared at her. She tried forcing herself from the ground and collapsed, a bracelet falling from her grasp. Lilith walked over and scooped it up, noting the fear in Metallicar's eyes.

"So what's so special about this little trinket, huh?" She held it, looking ready to crush it.

"N-no! Pl-please no." Coolant tears streamed down her cheeks, mixing with energon. "D-Dean gave it to me."

"So I should destroy it." Lilith nodded.

"No!" Metallicar attempted to stand as the demonic woman noticed the beads. Slowly she looked to the femme, who was still clutching her spark. "No Mary. Don't be scared." She whispered. Lilith looked once more to the bracelet.

"Your babies." She seemed to soften slightly. "The two other colors are your babies." Metallicar looked up and nodded slightly before fully collapsing on the ground.

"Lilith?" Megatron asked, not having heard what had been said.

"Why don't we leave her be for today? That way we don't offline her." Megatron nodded hesitantly. "And you and I can go back to our room." She purred, her words a promise. Megatron agreed instantly as Lilith walked to Metallicar. She placed the bracelet in her servo and watched as her fingers curled slowly around it. After a moment of watching she turned, intent on following the warlord.

"Thank.... you." She merely glanced to the femme before leaving.

-

Magnus sat at the bar, looking up as the green haired woman walked from the back and towards him. She smiled brightly and Magnus thanked Hot Rod for the high grade he had brought along. He smiled as she sat.

"So, I don't think I got your name." She looked shyly up at him.

"Magnus. And you are?" He held out his hand.

"Stella." She took his hand and he surprised her by turning it and kissing her knuckles. This made her blush.

"Stella. What a lovely name."

"Th-thanks." She looked to the bartender and held up two fingers, the man soon bringing two drinks. "Shall we?" Magnus smiled and nodded, bringing the glass to his lips.

Across the room sat the rest of the group. All of them were chuckling slightly at Magnus while sipping at their own drinks.

None were aware of the chaos that awaited them back at base.

-

Mary began crying and Jenny bolted upright, rushing over and scooping her up. "Shh, shh. It's okay Mary." She gently rocked the girl back and forth, cooing gently to her. She quickly researched the song Metallicar and Dean always sang to her and began singing gently.

The tiny femme began to calm, her vibrant green optics falling on Jenny. Her helm tilted to the side as she watched her. The woman smiled. "It's alright now little one." Mary simply nodded and looked to her still sleeping brother. She chirped and Jenny set her beside him, where she instantly snuggled to his side. He stirred a bit before hugging her, realizing that something was wrong. He looked up at Jenny and chirped lightly.

"It's all going to be just fine. I promise." She smiled.

Gabriel stood in the doorway, watching as Jenny set a few toys in with the little ones and set up the baby monitor, the other hooked onto her belt as she walked to Gabe. "Hey." He smiled to her.

"Hey Gabe." She hugged him and he returned it, holding her close.

"Jules' turn?" Jenny nodded and Gabriel looked to her. "You look tired."

"Not tired. Worried." She sighed. "About Meta and Dean."

"They'll be fine. I swear." He kissed her gently and she returned it. "Come on. How about a movie, cup of cocoa and a package of Kisses." She smiled up at him and nodded.

"That sounds perfect." He kissed the end of her nose and grinned, feeling her wings press against the back of her hoodie.

"Actually, how about a flight first? I know how that always seems to calm you down." She brightened immensely.

"Sure." She grinned. "Let me go give Jules the monitor. I'll have her watch Bell and I'll meet you outside. Okay?"

"Okay." He nodded and watched her take off down the hall, smiling as her long black hair flowed behind her.

"What's happened to you Gabriel?" He turned quickly and glared at the form behind him.

"Michael." The elder archangel crossed his arms.

"We need to talk."

-

Metallicar winced as she forced herself to her pedes. She stumbled towards the tiny ration of energon they had given her. She managed to grab it and down it quickly, searching for Dean across their bond. He was still unconscious. Recovering from his injury.

So who was watching the twins? She sighed as a sharp bolt of pain tore through her. "Gah! Fuck!" She snapped, falling to her knees. She heard heels clicking and looked up, expecting to see Lilith.

"Oh look. Miss big and bad. Last time I saw you, you were sparked." She walked forwards, gliding between the bars with ease.

"Yeah. Same goes for you Nexus." She stood with a bit of difficulty, showing Nexus that she wasn't araid of her. The woman chuckled and stepped forwards, frowning when the femme didn't react. "At least your daughter didn't end up like you." She hissed.

"Yes. I seem to recall that she is living among your ranks." She licked her wrist dismissively. "Now. On to business." She snapped her fingers and a large form appeared in the doorways, making Metallicar reel back.

"Shockwave."

"Metallicar." She could feel his cold gaze as her legs shook. He advanced on her with a torch in his servo. "This will be most enjoyable."

-

Alice sat in a chair in the Rec Room, eating a small container of mozerella sticks. Though thanks to her cravings they had to be dipped in chocolate. She was currently watching some sappy romantic comedy. Seeing as she wasn't allowed to go anywhere without her bonded beside her. She didn't really want to, overprotective instincts and all. But he was a busy mech.

Optimus didn't want to leave Alice alone at all. Which is why he was glad that he now had Ultra Magnus to help whenever Metallicar was busy or, in this case, missing. But for today, the mech was missing as well.

"Prime, you're overworking yourself again." Lennox pointed out. Optimus looked to him and sighed.

"I am aware. But I must find Metallicar. That and the fact that there is an relic of Iacon here is most concerning." He stated.

"Well, your wife is probably about to come in here and tell you to get your butt in the Rec Room and take some down time." The mech chuckled.

"Alice would not-" He paused before shaking his helm.

"Optimus, I'm married with a kid. Trust me. I know these things." Lennox chuckled as Optimus sighed. "I'll hold down the fort, and keep an eye out for any energon signals. Especially those resembling Metallicar's. Alright?"

"Very well then." He turned and walked from the room. "I leave you in charge."

"Got it big guy!"

Optimus mass-shifted outside of the Rec Room, walking in tiredly. Alice looked up as she finished her food and smiled. "Hey Op." A grin crossed his features as he walked over, kneeling in front of her place and kissing her before kissing her stomach. As he was ready to move away he felt a gentle kick, causing him to linger.

"My beautiful Alice." He kissed her again and then stood, scooping her up and sitting in her place with her on his lap. She chuckled and made herself comfortable, smiling up at him.

"Five and a half more months, my love." He nodded, his chin on her shoulder. His servos rest over the small bump, feeling the occasional kick as he unwillingly fell into recharge.

-

Jenny practically flew back to her room, having left Bell and the monitor with her bored sister. She stopped outside of the door, hearing shouting within. She cracked it open slightly, seeing Gabriel glaring at another man.

"What the hell are you saying?" He snapped. "She's innocent!"

"She's an upset to the balance of everything we know! She was born of angel's grace and a human!" The unknown replied.

"So?! That doesn't make her a monster!" Gabriel yelled, anger filling him. Jenny felt fear as she began to back up.

"Jenny is a threat and she must be dealt with!" She heard no more as she turned and fled, the door shutting loudly behind her.

"Jen! Wait!" Gabriel called after her.

"Leave her, brother." She heard. She stopped around a corner, feeling tears prick at the corners of her eyes. She wiped them away before she continued running.

"Dammit Michael! I love her!" Was the last thing she heard before running outside and taking to the air.

She didn't even turn back when she heard Wheeljack calling for her.

-

Magnus rolled, groaning at the pulsing pain in his helm. He sat up, only to find that he was wearing a pair of pajama bottoms. And nothing else. His eyes widened as they fell on the form curled up next to him, wearing a nightgown.

"S-Stella?" She hummed slightly, snuggling up to him.

"Morning Magnus." She chuckled, seeing his confusion. "All I did was get you out of the beer stained clothes and into those." She swore.

"I am sorry." He looked ashamed.

"Don't be. I'm the one who brought you here. Though you did drag me down and clung onto me." She laughed. He brightened immensely at the sound. She tugged him back down and he smiled, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. His other arm rest behind his head and he looked to her. "Thank you."

"For?"

"Defending me at that terrible bar I'm stuck working at." She muttered, looking up at him.

"You are most welcome miss Stella." She smiled and he returned it. "I should probably get back." He whispered. She looked up at him, frowning slightly.

"Can't you stay a little longer?" She replied, her voice light. He rest his forehead against hers and looked into her eyes. He almost didn't want to leave, the crystal blue orbs holding fast to him.

"I'm needed back at base." He breathed, lips close to hers. She leaned back slightly.

"You're a soldier?" He nodded noting that she was still holding onto him. He nodded and she smiled a bit. "Well it's nice to know I actually like a good guy for once." She reluctantly began to release him. In a split second he grabbed her arm.

"Perhaps I can stay. For just a bit longer." She smiled and tugged him into a kiss, shocking him momentarily. He reacted quickly, returning it and pulling Stella close to him. For the next hour they lay there. And for once, Magnus was happy and content to simply lay in bed and talk.

((A.N.: Sorry if that ending sucked. :/ I'm kinda trying to get to the next part and I've been meddling through writer's block. lol {C.M.}))
