I Can't Smile Without You - Barry Manilow
Dean worked carefully at cleaning the energon from his mate's engine, patching wires and damaged energon lines as he did so. Sam kept Mary and Silver busy by playing with them in the bed of the truck. They weren't able to see over the edge even if they tried standing. And the shade from the trees didn't help them any. If anything, it only made the infants more tired.
They sat there in the, thankfully cool, temperature for hours as Dean worked, finishing just as the sun began to hide behind the trees. He shut the hood and ran around, seeing Metallicar sitting up. Her wound was gone and she looked to him. "Dean?" He tackled her holoform and kissed her deeply, wrapping his arms around her.
"I thought I lost you Baby. In more ways than one." She kissed him back, wincing in pain as she moved wrong.
"Dean." She muttered against his lips. He hummed. "Your brother and the twins are right there. How about we finish this after we return to base?" He pouted and nodded.
"Alright." She smirked and, without moving, caused her alt to roar to life.
"You're damn good at what you do Dean." He smirked.
"You better believe it." She chuckled as he kissed her one more time before sitting up and going to the truck. He grabbed all their things and patted the side of the truck. "This thing did pretty good getting you here."
"Hey, didn't Stella say she'd need a new vehicle when we move to the mainland?" Sam asked. "Pretty sure it'd be a waste to leave this in the middle of nowhere." Dean grinned.
"Yeah. And Baby shouldn't be straining herself with driving right now anyways." He smirked. "So how about we call for a bridge and go home?"
Sam nodded and grabbed his phone. Dean turned to the truck with a faint smile. The old thing had been from a junkyard, and it was a good sized truck. Maybe Stella could make good use of it. But Dean knew one thing for sure. The truck, lifeless as it was, had helped save Metallicar's life. He couldn't just let it rust.
"This is me returning the favor." He spoke lightly before going back and climbing in Metallicar's alt. Her holoform was passed out on the seat, which had reclined at some point. With a delicate smile he crawled in and curled up beside her, wrapping his arms around her waist and holding her close to him. She hummed and turned towards him, wrapping her arms around him. "Sleep Baby."
"No, have to steer." She muttered.
"I've got that hun. Just sleep." He kissed her forehead and sat up as Sam started the truck. Mary and Silver were riding with him, buckled into a seat as the bridge appeared before the two vehicles. Without hesitating Sam drove through, ready for a hot shower and time to relax with his own love.

Alice sat beside Optimus, tapping the pencil against her leg. She had written down a list of all the names that came to mind. Optimus had even suggested a few, though many were of Cybertronian origin and a few were even impossible to pronounce.
So far they had come no closer to a name for their son then they had been even before they knew the gender. She sighed gently and lowered the pencil, wincing as the boy kicked too hard. Her hand fell to her stomach and she rubbed it gently. She was so distracted she didn't see Optimus rest his servo on her hand. He picked her up, much to her surprise, and gently set her in his lap.
"You are overthinking my spark. You need to relax." She chuckled as he brushed his lips across her neck. "We have plenty of time to make a decision."
"We have just over two months Op. I mean, at least we kind figured on a middle name." She mused.
"Yes, I think Ayden is a good choice." He stole a kiss, effectively taking her focus from the paper. She leaned back against him and Optimus scanned over the paper. One name stuck out and he smiled at it. He quite liked the way it flowed with the child's middle name. He moved to speak with Alice, only to find she had fallen fast asleep. He chuckled gently. Oh well, he could always tell her later.

Arcee sat with the two adults and Bulkhead, all four of them awaiting any news on the young boy in the Med Bay. Arcee spoke with the man, who had explained his name was Jack Darby. The woman interrupted then to explain that she was Miko Nakadai before curling back into her ball.
"She's not normally this shy." Jack said. Arcee looked to him.
"I could guess. She seems like she'd be normally chipper and excited."
"She just hasn't been the same since she got back from Japan." He said. He then looked up as the Med Bay doors opened, Ratchet walking out.
"How's Raf?" Miko asked.
"He will be fine. But for now he needs rest."
Jack nodded as Miko stood. "Can we see him?" He asked.
"Sure. Right this way." Jack moved to lead Miko in and she shook her head.
"No, I think I'm gonna go explore." Jack frowned as she took off down the hallway. Bulkhead wanted to follow but he also wanted to check on Raf.
"Don't worry Bulk." Arcee smiled. "She'll be fine." Bulkhead nodded a bit before walking into the Med Bay.

Miko collapsed in an abandoned hallway, shaking slightly as she buried her head in her arms. She whimpered at the agonizing pain in her throat and was glad no soldiers were passing by. She took deep, gasping breaths to calm herself, forcing her form to stay where it was.
"Are you alright?" Her eyes snapped open and she lunged, unaware of what was happening. She tackled the woman and hissed, feeling the veins beneath her eyes show. Much to her shock, the woman's face took on the same look as she flipped her hunger weakened body with ease. Miko saw her fangs and resigned herself to her fate.
"Please do." The Japanese woman whispered. "I don't want to hurt anyone else." The other woman backed off but didn't let her up just yet.
"Who are you?"
"Miko. I'm new to base." She spoke lightly.
"Well Miko. I'm Juliet, and I just might have a solution for you." She stood, bringing Miko with. "Follow me." She did as told, soon approaching a large black truck.
"Jules! Long time no see." The truck transformed, setting a cooler on the ground and sitting.
"Yeah. You've been out hunting with Hijack." She chuckled. "Stargaze, meet Miko. Miko, meet Stargaze."
"Hi." She waved as Juliet dug into the cooler, filling a metal water bottle with something. She then put the top on and walked to Miko.
"Here you go." Juliet smiled, handing the metal canister to Miko. She took a drink and her eyes widened. "Bagged blood. Not as fresh, but it works just as good." Miko finished off the bottle and relaxed.
"Thank you Juliet." The other woman smiled.
"No problem. Now. Why don't you explain to me how exactly you came to be a vampire."

Metallicar lay beside Dean, her chassis rising and falling in a steady rhythm. Armor and clothes covered the floor of their shared berthroom. Yeah, the femme was still recovering, but Dean remembered that a spark merge helped in the matter. A couple two or three extra only served to help further.
Unfortunately Dean couldn't sleep. He was aware that Jenny and Wheeljack had been kidnapped. As well as the fact that Blicks had ended up being a two timing glitch. That one he saw coming. But mostly his mind lay on Adam. They had dragged his body out and wrapped it in cloth, building a funeral pyre as the twins and Metallicar slept. Once the routine salt and burn began he had been aware of Metallicar, hugging him from behind and hiding her face between his shoulders.
With his mind slowly clearing from the events of the past few days, Dean turned and smiled a bit to his wife, kissing her cheek. She stirred slightly but fell asleep again. He took this time to gently run his fingers along her form, memorizing once more every detail of her.
He was in complete and total awe of the armor that was a permanent part of her protoform. Namely her chest and several pieces and slabs of metal travelling down her back, sides and legs. As well as her stomach and arms. Even without the bulkier parts of her armor she didn't look anywhere near human, her doorwings helping to prove that. His fingers traced along the armor at her hips, where she had removed what was necessary so that she didn't hurt Dean. Still, her form was more armor than anything else.
Another thing he noted was the color of this armor. It was lighter and colored a mix between her beautiful black and a silver brighter than any on Earth. But it was also easier to damage. He could tell by the sheer amount of scars on her body. He knew several were from the time she spent in Kaon. But just how many came from the war itself?
"Hmmm, Dean." Her engine purred as she slept, protoform gleaming in the moonlight that seeped through the windows. But with it he also saw the damaged wires and torn protoform from where the ghoul attacked. He gently kissed a few of the more daunting gouges that he had managed to repair. She seemed to move towards him with every gesture of his affection. "Dean." She breathed, her vents kicking on.
Dean chuckled and lay back beside her, earning a slight glare. "Something wrong Baby?"
"Yeah. You didn't finish." Before he could say anything he was tackled back onto the bed.

Zach smiled up at Cliffjumper's holoform as he stared in awe. "So....?" Zach asked hesitantly. Cliffjumper looked to him with a grin and leaned down, kissing him gently. "I wanted to find something you liked, so you could have some fun."
"Zach, no offence, but everything fun I've ever done in life pales to everything I've done with you." He stated seriously. "Even on those days you just want to collapse in my lap and watch a movie after a long day. Pit, those are my favorite times." He took Zach's hand in his.
"Awwww Cliff." Zach tackled him in a hug and the Autobot chuckled. "Also I brought you here because that base is really crowded." He joked. This made Cliffjumper laugh, still holding the demon to his chest.
"Well, what should we do first?" Zach smiled.
"What do you think?" Cliffjumper thought for a moment.
"Hmmm... Back on Cybertron we always tried first to win something for our sweetheart." He grinned and Zach blushed. He hadn't been aware of Cliffjumper walking and looked up, seeing a booth in front of him. He blinked up at Cliffjumper as he pulled a wallet from his jeans.
"Alright, all you need to do is knock down those three pins." Cliffjumper smirked and took the ball, throwing it and easily knocking them down. The man chuckled and Cliffjumper pointed to the prize he wanted. Zach watched as Cliffjumper took the small stuffed 'demon' and handed it to him. Zach laughed softly and kissed Cliffjumper's cheek.
"Cheesy, I know. But a mini demon, for my own beloved demon." Zach stole a kiss.
"It's perfect Cliff. Honestly though, I'd have been offended if you chose the angel." He teased. The red mech laughed a bit and smiled.
"Come on. Let's go find other stuff to do." Zach nodded and took his hand, smiling as he carried the little plushie in the other. He had never been one for such things, life having gone the way it had. But he loved the fact that Cliffjumper had won it for him. And it really was kind of adorable.
Zach had lost track of time and before he knew it, night had fallen. Cliffjumper had won three more games. And Zach had won two. When Zach had won he chose two little plush Gizmo figures from the movie Gremlins, figuring he could give them to Metallicar for Mary and Silver, as thanks for the perfect suggestion.
They ran out and put them in Cliffjumper's alt before going back, Cliff pulling him to the Ferris Wheel. He spoke to the man in charge without Zach noticing and the man looked between him. For a moment Cliffjumper was afraid he would refuse and yell about them. But the man smiled and nodded.
Zach sat by Cliffjumper and rest his head on his shoulder, smiling as the ride moved. The mech couldn't take his eyes off the bartender, in awe of the way the light bounced off his features.
The Ferris Wheel reached the top and paused, making Cliff smile brightly as Zach looked to him. "Cliff did you-" He was cut off as Cliffjumper kissed him gently, wrapping his arms around him.
"Thank you, my demon. For the perfect date." He whispered. Zach smiled and nodded.
"You are most welcome, my Autobot." He rest his head on his shoulder and remained there until the ride ended.

Jason paced through the halls of his palace in hell. This was making several demons exceedingly nervous. They were all taking care to avoid him and his angered fiancee. Juliet was currently ordering her own force with careful execution and a flawless strategy. Meanwhile Jason's were digging down into pits and recesses that Juliet dare not even think of.
So far none of them had anything. Only that Blicks wasn't what anyone had thought. And that she didn't exist. So now he had contacts buried deep in the FBI doing a facial recognition and checking everywhere.
"Sir." Jason turned, eyes blazing as they fell on the nervous demon. She was new and had obviously been forced into this task by those older than her. Still, that did not save her from the sharp bite of his words.
"What do you want?!" He snapped and she flinched.
"I-I have some infro- erm, information c-c-concerning Blicks." Jason swept over and held out his hand. Without hesitating she handed him the folder. He flipped it opened, seeing Juliet walk in. She noticed the young demon's fear and rest a hand on her shoulder.
"Thank you. You can go now." She smiled reassuringly and the demon bowed low before straightening and leaving. Juliet then turned her attention to Jason, who's knuckles were white from gripping the folder too tightly. Juliet gently pried the folder from his hands and convinced him to look at her. The second his eyes met hers he softened, smiling gently at the calm she brought to him. Though she knew that'd fade away the second she asked her next question. "Jason, what's wrong?"
He tensed again but remained mostly calm. "It's about Blicks." Juliet looked hopeful until Jason looked to her again. "We need to speak with Sierra."
"About what?" Juliet asked, still holding his hands in hers.
"M.E.C.H."

Moonracer walked through the halls, a cube of energon in her hand. Unfortunately she had been volunteered to give Scatterbolt his ration. Seeing as they hadn't given him much if any for the past few days.
She reached the cell and stilled, the cube slipping from her grasp. She ran, fleeing the room as the energon hit the ground, splattering on the light wall of Scatterbolt's empty cell.
(A.N.: So before anyone says anything about the song choice. It's a good song and honestly I figured it'd fit how Gabe felt with Jenny missing. Even though he's not in this chapter. Sorry about that. Anyways. Hope ya enjoyed! ^.^ {C.M.})
