Chapter Twenty-Eight - Isn't Someone Missing Me?

Please, please forgive me,

But I won't be home again.

Maybe someday you'll look up,

And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one:

"Isn't something missing?"

You won't cry for my absence, I know -

You forgot me long ago.

Am I that unimportant...?

Am I so insignificant...?

Isn't something missing?

Isn't someone missing me?

Missing - Evanesence

Adam looked to Metallicar as she walked into the living room. "Where's Dean?" She asked. Sam looked up.

"Went to check on a lead." She nodded and sat, Mary and Silver on her lap. Adam walked over and sat, looking to Silver.

"Hey there little buddy." Silver looked up at him and hid in his mother's jacket, Mary doing the same. "It's okay, I'm your uncle Adam." Mary squeaked as he reached for her and hid further in Metallicar's jacket. She forwned a bit.

"Odd. They aren't normally this shy." She mused.

"Probably still surprised about meeting a new family member." Sam figured, sitting beside his sister-in-law and stealing Silver away. He burrowed into his shirt and chirped in fear. Sam hesitated, glancing to Metallicar. She suddenly let out a shriek of pain, making Mary jump. The sparkling quickly hugged her mother's holoform, which had solidified to a point where the little girl could hear her spark pulsing loudly. Metallicar shuddered with the overwhelming pain.

"S-Sam. My alt. Someone's tearing into-ah!" She screamed again, pain pulsing over the bond to Dean. She felt his panic and Sam stole Mary away.

"Adam, watch Meta! I have to get these two somewhere safe." He said, bolting up the stairs. He rushed to a closet and pulled all of the towels and sheets down, setting them on the floor. "Stay here, don't move and if anything comes through scream as loud as you can. Alright?" The twins nodded as Sam closed the door mostly, leaving it open only a tiny crack.

Mary held onto Silver as they heard yelling on the floor beneath them. Silver hugged his sister close. Despite the fact that she was a tiny bit older than him he still felt the need to protect her when she was scared. Their mother's voice rang loudest, yelling at Adam that the thing in the kitchen wasn't his mom. Silver stayed strong for Mary as she whimpered.

Metallicar's scream cut through the house a moment later and Silver paled. He heard footsteps and pushed Mary back. The door opened before he could hide and an unknown woman stood there. "Hmmm... That Winchester pain must have hidden your sister elsewhere. No matter." She leaned down and grabbed him up harshly. "You'll do nicely to keep your mommy placid. Otherwise..." She trailed off as she dragged a nail across his throat.

The door was shut again, plunging Mary into darkness. With fear in her spark, she dug down and called out to her father.

-

'Opi, scared.' Those two words were all Dean had to hear from his daughter before he finally found a way out of the tomb. He hightailed it to the beat up junker of a truck he had to managed to steal. He took off down the road, driving as fast as the beat up vehicle could go.

He could only hope he made it there in time.

-

Jenny hung limply, her wings laying behind her. All light seemed drained from them, once glistening silver now a dull gunmetal grey. The gold highlights were already mostly faded, despite being in there only a few days. Or months. Pit, Jenny couldn't tell anymore. Everything blurred as it had for the first four months of her life. All she knew was she was in desperate need of energon. She should have drank some before leaving, like Ratchet had told her too.

She heard Silas walking in and stopping before her. "Well, looks like she does break easily." She tensed slightly as he moved closer. She waited until he was close enough and snapped out. She bit down on the nearest spot of exposed skin, it being the right side of his neck. She sunk her teeth in deep, hoping to damage something important.

He snarled in pain and finally ripped her away, feeling skin tear away as well. She spat on the floor as he clutched at his neck. He managed to backhand her hard enough that she was thrown to the side, the shackles around her hands digging in and drawing energon and blood, the two mixing together and forming a purple liquid. It dripped slowly from her, most likely dislocated, wrist and onto the floor.

"You will pay for that." He growled.

"No... You'll be the one paying." She gapsed in pain. "When my sister learns what you've done. She'll kill you without pause!" She snapped.

"I doubt that pathetic vampire brat could." Her attention was drawn to a pale man, his lanky form towering over her as he smirked. "She'd be about as useful as my mutt of a daughter."

"Oh? And who- might that be?" She winced before spitting blood all over Silas' shoes, her face and teeth stained with the foul substance. The man grinned and knelt, gathering a bit of the blood and lickng it from his finger, a feral grin crossing his features as veins trekked along under his eyes.

"Casidy Blumenthal."

-

"Baby!" Dean ran over to Baby's alt, seeing energon coating the engine and sides, several wires having been torn apart. He frowned and put a hand to her side, focusing and breathing in relief when he felt her sparkbeat. He then turned and rushed inside, a shotgun in one hand and crowbar in the other.

"Don't you dare touch him!" He heard Metallicar growl before a pained scream escaped her.

"Oh dearie, I think this little rugrat would make a wondeful meal. What do you think Sammy?" Dean felt his blood boil.

"Silver look at me!" Sam called as Dean snuck in. "It's gonna be okay buddy. She's not gonna hurt you. Your daddy won't allow it, okay?" Dean heard Silver cry and moved around.

"Hey!" He hesitated. "Silver, close your eyes!" He covered his eyes, hands covered in blood. Dean made note to ask Sam about that later as he fired, Adam hitting the wall.

"Dean, they're ghouls!" Dean turned, slamming the crowbar into the woman's head. He caught Silver and shielded him as he put the shotgun to the woman's head, pulling the trigger.

"Which means headshot." He then looked to Silver. "You okay bud?" Silver nodded shakily and Dean looked around panicked. "Mary?!" He yelled.

"Safe." Silver chirped. Dean looked to him as he shakily pointed to the stairs. Dean nodded and set Silver down in a seat, covering him with his jacket so he wouldn't see the bodies around them. Dean then turned, trying to untie Sam. Unfortunately the Adam ghoul leapt at Dean, tackling him into the kitchen. Dean and he struggled against one another for a moment before finally gaining the upper hand and bringing the crowbar down repeatedly on the ghoul's head.

Finally it lay limp and Dean stood.

"Dean!" Sam winced as his brother rushed over, cutting the ropes and wrapping his wrists with cloth. "Thank you."

"That's what family's for, right? Keep pressure on that." Dean then turned, his eyes widening as he saw Metallicar pinned to the wall by an obviously Cybertronian blade, a Decepticon logo printed into the blade. Though it had been scratched partially away. He knelt by her and gripped the 'small' dagger. He finally tore it free, earning a shriek from his beloved. He quickly silenced her with a kiss, holding her close and ignoring the energon staining his shirt. "Shh, Baby, it's okay."

"Dean." She breathed. "I'm so sorry." He jolted her lightly.

"Don't you dare go to sleep. You won't wake up." He sobbed. She smiled to him and he looked to Sam. "Go find Mary and take her and Silver to the truck outside. Do not let them see any of this mess!" Sam nodded, having tied the towels tightly. He stood and picked up Silver before rushing up to where he had hidden Mary.

She was hidden in the blanket, terrified sobs leaving her as she looked to Sammy. She ignored her bloody brother and the blood on her uncle as she reached out, cheeks stained with tears. Sam gently picked her up and walked down the stairs, seeing Dean tying a cloth tightly over Metallicar's shoulder. She merely whimpered at the pain and grabbed Dean's arm.

"I can't... Can't do anything with my alt. Damage too severe. Can't even reset holoform." She muttered and winced. "Body went into stasis lock."

"It's okay Baby. You're going to be fine. I promise." He kissed her again and scooped her up, grabbing her fallen blade as well. He was shocked to find it was as long as his arm was, and the same width. He managed to carry it to Metallicar's alt and drop it in the back seat, gently laying her in the front seat. He then grabbed the car seats and bears, shut her hood and rushed to the pickup.

"Opi. Danni huwt?" Silver asked.

"Yes she is, but she'll be better soon, okay?" He smiled, hooking the seats in and turning back to look at the damage to his love. "Sammy. I need your help." He stated before settling Silver in his car seat with his bear. He then gently picked Mary up, seeing tears still falling from her eyes. He gently kissed her forehead, hugging her close before gently setting her in the seat. He buckled her in and gave her bear to her. As well as his jacket, which the girl gladly held. He kissed their foreheads one more time before rushing back to Sam, who had a tow chain. He hooked it to the back of the truck while Dean careufully climbed under his bonded, finding a secure place to the front where she could be towed somewhere more secluded.

He found a place and secured it, crawling out from under her and looking to Sam. "You okay Dean?" He looked to his brother.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine. Just the woman I love is bleeding to death." He said, tears in his eyes. "And my daughter is terrified while my son's covered in blood."

"It's mine. Silver was holding my wrist when they cut it but they tore him away. That woman was about to make a meal of him but you came in." Sam looked his brother over before pulling him into a hug. "It's going to be okay Dean. The twins didn't see much and Meta's gonna get better. Alright?" Dean nodded glumly and looked back.

"Okay. You have the twins riding with you because I do not want them to see their mother like this." Sam nodded and tested the strength between the chains, wincing as he heard a groan from the Impala at his back. Dean did as well but hid it, pulling the keys from his pocket. He then hesitated. "These won't do any good right now." He muttered. "Go, I'll keep her going straight." Sam nodded and walked to the truck, Dean going to the Autobot and being careful as he climbed in, shutting the door and resting Metallicar's head on his lap.

"Dean." She breathed. He looked to her and she tried to sit up, wincing in pain as she fell back.

"Easy Baby. Don't move." It was horrifyingly silent for a few moments as the truck roared to life, pulling forwards slowly. However, that didn't stop the Impala from lurching forwards as it did. Metallicar winced as she moved wrong, Dean wincing at the pain through the bond. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been such an ass."

"No. But it's my fault too. I should have told you about Adam. I'm so sorry Dean. You had a right to know. It's just... Before John died I told him I would do everything in my power to keep you all safe. He made me swear that I would only introduce you when I felt the time was right. But then the situation with the Fallen and the twins came along and we've just been so busy fighting and being parents that I-" Dean cut her off with a gentle kiss, making her smiled once he parted. "So am I forgiven?"

"You are. But if dad ever comes back to life I'm kicking his ass." Metallicar chuckled and looked up at him.

"I love you Dean."

"I love you too Baby."

Gabriel paced back and forth in the Med Bay. He hated that Jenny hadn't called him. She should have by now so that they could continue practicing with her grace. Among other things. But that wasn't his only issue. No, he was currently waiting on Knockout to come back from whatever he was doing.

He stilled as Jason walked in, humming happily. An uncharacteristic move from what he knew of the king of hell. "What's got you so happy?" He grumbled, sitting down.

"I am set to be married to the most beautiful woman in the world. And why are you so grumpy?" Gabriel sighed, his wings dropping to the table behind him.

"You know how much I love Jenny, right?" Jason eyed him skeptically. "I want... I want to ask her to marry me." He said, thoroughly shocking Jason.

"You? Getting married? Holy shit, I think I'm dead." Gabriel rolled his eyes.

"Very funny jackass." He muttered.

"Easy Gabe. I was only joking. Now. You really want to marry Jenny?" The archangel nodded.

"I love her so much and it hurts to see her in pain." He said lightly. He wasn't aware of Juliet listening right outside the doors. She smiled a bit and walked in.

"Then you've got my permission." Juliet said. Gabriel looked to her.

"Really?" His wings perked up, even if they couldn't see them. Juliet nodded with a smile.

"You're my best friend. I trust you to take care of my little sister." He stood and leapt, tackling Juliet in a hug.

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!" He grinned. "I have to go try and call her!" As if on cue his phone dinged in his pocket. He grabbed it, his heart leaping into his throat when he was it was Jenny. However, he was horrified as he opened the picture message.

It was of Jenny, that much he was certain. But blood and energon pooled around her, even as some trickled down her chin. For a few brief moments he feared she had become like Juliet. But that was cast away as he didn't see the familiar bloodlust that was present in the eyes of a newly turned vamp. But still he was afraid, who would do this to his beloved? His wings bristled in rage as a message popped up under that.

'Like my new trophy?' Gabriel typed in a furious response.

'Who are you?' He sent the message, waiting for a reply.

"Gabriel? What's wrong?" Juliet asked. He turned and thrust the phone towards her, showing the picture on the screen. Juliet gasped in horror and Jason winced. Fury then took over as he yelled.

"Crowley!" Gabriel turned the phone back, seeing the new reply.

'No one of your concern. This is your last chance to say goodbye.' Gabriel paled. So whoever this was meant to kill her...

Crowley appeared as Juliet caught Gabriel, gently lowering him to the ground. "Easy Gabe, relax. We're going to get her back, I promise." Gabriel was shaking with fear, tears streaming down his face. He hadn't been this afraid in a long time. Juliet hugged him, trying to surpress her own fear. But Jason could see it, turning towards Crowley.

"Gather every demon you can and hunt down the bastard that captured Jenny. And when you find him, bring him straight to me. I'll show him what happens when you mess with my family!" Jason snapped nd Crowley froze.

"Jenny's been..." He nodded. "Right away." He vanished and Jason gently pried the phone from Gabriel's hands.

'This is Jason. You had better pray you die before my demons find you. Because if you do not then I will show you the true meaning of hell.' He sent the message and knelt once more beside Juliet and Gabriel. He carefully rest a hand on the archangel's shoulder. "We will get her back Gabriel. I promise. And when we do I'll let you take second crack at the one who did this."

"Who gets first crack?" He asked.

"Juliet does. And then you. And then I show him my favorite room in all of hell." He grinned maliciously. "It'll make Alistair seem like he was just tickling the man."

"You make sure he suffers as long as you can." Gabriel stated. Jason nodded, agreeing easily with the angel.

"That I will do."

Optimus looked to the energy signal with a small frown. The scanners that Jenny had helped design weren't able to pick up who it was. Just that it was an Autobot in distress. Optimus finally managed to open a comm link with the unknown.

"-need energon bad. Please. Any Autobot. Decepticons aren't far behind me." The voice said.

"Unknown Autobot. Please state your designation." He heard a sigh of relief on the other end.

"Thank Primus. My name is Bulkhead, I'm a Wrecker." Optimus nodded a bit to Lennox, who was listening in on the conversation. He quickly made a silent signal for a group to get ready to move out.

"Bulkhead, we are sending a tem of humans to your location. They will be arriving via groundbridge and will provide cover while you get through."

"Thanks Prime. But there's just one other thing."

"And what might that be?" He asked, hearing the worry in the mech's voice.

"I have two human adults with me and one kid. But the kid's hurt bad." Optimus stiffened and sent a comm to Ratchet, telling him to get the Med Bay prepped for the youngling.

"Agknowledged. We will have the med by ready for your arrival." He then looked to Lennox. He looked terrified as he turned to his men.

"Alright! Our top priority is making sure he gets through and gets that kid to the Med Bay. Now let's move!" With that the bridge opened and Lennox leapt down, joining his team and running through with them.

Optimus could only hope they got the child to Ratchet in time...
