Chapter Seven - Demons

The wise man said just walk this way

To the dawn of the light

Wind will blow into your face

As the years pass you by

Hear this voice from deep inside

It's the call of your heart

Close your eyes and you will find

Passage out of the dark

Send Me An Angel - Scorpions

(A.N.: Okay, I feel like this warrants a warning. There is a section in here between Alice and Op that gets a little... Well, heated. Not argument wise, however. But yeah. As you can tell I'm not used to doing these kinds of warnings. >.> Anyways. Cyber out. {C.M.}

P.S.: I'm a little nervous about posting this because of that section. Partially because I have family who read my books and I really hate it when they all judge me for what I write and do. So if you guys see this, it fit well and worked for a nice filler so that I could get to the next chapter. I'll let you get back to the story now. ^.^ {C.M.})

Jenny lay on her bed, looking up at the glow in the dark stars that Gabriel had brought her. She had been officially moved to her own room, which the archangel had been kind enough to help her decorate. Stars filled the ceiling in patterns exactly like the night sky. With a small trick it even moved as the sky did.

The walls were painted like a forest, the once cement floors coated in a layer of never dying grass. She smiled, thinking to all that Gabriel had done to make her feel welcome. From the new wardrobe to the oversized hoodie that she didn't want to take off. As well as the brush he had given her that was guaranteed to painlessly go through her hair, no matter how bad it was.

She smiled, taking a deep breath. Everything smelled of sweets. And the chocolate bar he had given her earlier. She swore it tasted like heaven, while Gabriel had merely laughed at her enthusiasm.

"Jenny?" She glanced over, smiling as she saw the archangel laying in the grass. She had insisted he take the bed instead of her. But he argued vehemently as he lay out a blanket on the grass.

"Hey Gabe." He looked around and then back to her.

"W'time is it?" He slurred sleepily. She knew angels didn't need their sleep. But Gabriel had told her it was a nice comfort once in a while.

"Three in the morning." Her gaze fell on his back, lingering before turning back to his face. "Go back to sleep."

"No. Because you aren't." He muttered, standing and walking over to her. He tripped, landing face-first on the large bed beside her. She tried hard not to laugh but failed as he dragged himself up. Without thinking he ducked under the blankets.

"Goodnight Gabriel." Jenny muttered as he emerged beside her.

"Night Jenjen." She giggled a bit at the nickname as Gabriel cuddled up to her side, his chin resting on her head. Jenny couldn't help but smiled as she looked up at her sleeping best friend. She gave no more thought to the matter as sleep stole over her.

Jason looked to Juliet, growling as Casidy moved to close. "Touch her and die." He growled.

"Jason." Ratchet warned. "I could easily have you removed from my Med Bay."

"And I could just keep coming back!" He snapped. Casidy flinched back, looking to him.

"Killing me won't save her. I'm not the first of my line."

"Then which one are you?!"

"Third." She winced at his glare. "You'll never find the first. Believe me. I've tried." She whispered. Jason stood.

"I'm going to my library. Maybe there's something in there." He leaned down, kissing Juliet's forehead before vanishing. Casidy hugged her legs and sighed.

"I'm sorry miss Winchester. I didn't mean to. I swear. I wish I could undo what I did." She cried a little. She was unaware that Jason was still watching, sighing slightly.

"Crowley?"

"Yes?" The king of the crossroads droned.

"Call off the hunt." He blinked.

"Really?"

"Yes really. Rather than killing all werewolves just have them look for one that smells like Casidy." He nodded.

"As you command your royal highness."

"No sarcasm required." He waved it off as he walked away.

"Pompous pain in my ass." Crowley grumbled under his breath.

"I heard that!"

Metallicar set on the floor in Wheeljack's lab, Dean standing on a table that brought him up right between her shoulders. Not far from them stood the mad scientist, preparing a welder and handing it to Dean.

"These welds are impressive!" He complimented, holding up Metallicar's arm.

"Dean did them. Luckily he didn't weld any important transformation seams." Dean looked confused as he looked around her shoulder. "Minor storage compartment. It's fine."

"No Baby. You should have told me sooner." She flicked her servo.

"It's alright Dean. Really." She smiled to him and then turned forwards again, Dean leaning back just as her right door wing moved. She stretched them as far away from the gouge in her armor as she could, dean grimacing as he lifted the heavy slab or metal. He managed to brace it against the edge of the table, where it aligned perfectly with the wound.

"This may sting a bit."

"Not as much as some things." He winced.

"Baby I-"

"I don't mean the semi, spark." She whispered, her right servo flexing a few times. The Iaconian relics, as Dean had learned they were called, sat in the holsters she had returned to her hips. He turned his attention back to the metal that had begun to slid. "Here." She stretched out on the empty slab beside them, Dean stepping onto her back as Wheeljack placed the symbol down.

"Hey Meta. Your symbol is going to be in the same place as your brothers." She rolled her optics as Dean settled between her shoulders. "What? It is." Wheeljack muttered.

"Shut up Jackie." Metallicar laughed, relaxing her shoulders as Dean pulled down a pair of goggles. He knelt on the symbol and began welding the metal to his sparkmate's back, avoiding the twitching wings.

"Baby!" She giggled.

"Sorry Dean. It tickles." He merely deadpanned.

Sierra curled up in Soundwave's lap, looking over to see Drift and Crosshairs in the corner. The latter appeared to be shocked as the former grinned brightly. "Say again?"

"Crosshairs. You are going to be a creator." She watched as he glitched, collapsing on the floor. She chuckled a bit before feeling Soundwave tighten his grip on her. She looked to him, already sensing the longing in his optics.

"Soon Sounds. I swear." She whispered, sitting on his lap with her legs to either side of him. She kissed his visor and heard a groan.

"Get a room you two." Gabriel muttered, a half-asleep Jenny leaning on his shoulder.

"Soundwave: Planning on it." The shy woman blinked.

"Why would they need a room?" She asked.

"No reason." Gabriel quickly covered. "Come on. Let's get you some coffee and a muffin." She perked up as she followed him.

"That must be the new girl." Sierra mused. Soundwave nodded as she and Gabriel sat beside them, the girl curling up by her friend and yawning. Sierra slid from Soundwave's lap. "So, you're new here right?" She nodded.

"Jenny. This is Sierra. Sierra, Jenny." The young woman waved shyly.

"Hi Jenny." She smiled sweetly.

"Hi." Her voice was delicate and she turned her attention downwards.

"It's okay Jen. Sierra can't hurt you." Gabriel hugged her carefully. "No one can hurt you." She smiled a little before taking a sip of her coffee. Her eyes went wide and she sat up a bit.

"Wow this stuff is good." Everyone laughed a bit as she grinned.

"Glad you like it. Later you can try soda." Sierra looked to Gabriel.

"I'm not going to be anywhere near that." He shrugged.

"No. You'll probably be in your berthroom."

"Hey!"

"Gabriel: Not wrong." Sierra turned to her mate.

"Who's side are you on?"

Sam hit the wall and gasped in pain, fresh blood pouring from his side. He and Arcee had taken a job, deciding to take care of a group of demons that had attacked their group. Sam was already having issues even before the demon had been wounded. Now the female of the group was bleeding profusely and he was trying not to go over and rip into his throat. Arcee's holoform was cutting through them, the demon's blade in hand.

It all became to much for Sam and he lunged, not much more than a blur as he slammed into the woman, his teeth biting into her neck. Blood filled his mouth, satisfying the beast within. As soon as the demon was drained he turned, holding out his hand.

Arcee watched in horror as Sam forcibly ripped demons from their vessels, blood coating his face. He nearly collapsed with the last one, Arcee running over and picking him up. "Sam? Sam!" She called.

"Arcee." He groaned, wincing in pain. He felt fear through the All Spark and turned his attention both to it and to Arcee. "I'm sorry."

Arcee wasn't even able to say anything as he passed out.

-

Metallicar flicked her door wings, stretching them and feeling the fresh welds. Wheeljack had already cut the symbol along her transformation seams. She grinned and transformed, parts shifting and whirring with ease. Once all four wheels were on the ground her holoform appeared. She went around to see the gleaming symbol on the side, right above the end of the chrome strip on the driver's side.

"It looks great!" She grinned. Dean walked up behind her, smirking as he hugged her from behind.

"Yeah. Thanks love." She leaned her head back on his shoulder, smiling as he turned a little and gently kissed her. "And now, no one can hurt my baby with that." She chuckled and relaxed in his hold.

"Hurts like a son of a glitch though." She pointed out, looking up at him. He shrugged and smirked.

"At least it looks nice. I could have 'accidentally' put it upside down."

"You wouldn't dare." She argued, poking him in the chest. "Because then that would marr my beautiful finish." She mock fainted, acting like Sunstreaker. Dean chuckled and glanced to the symbol.

"So I never noticed a hole there before." She looked to him.

"It's because the hole is covered in my alt. Our armor can move quite a bit." She gestured to a hairline scratch in the side of her alt, not far from it. "For example, that scratch there is from where Silver had accidentally slipped, scratching the armor on the back of my neck." He nodded, looking it over before leaning on the leg of the table, Metallicar leaning against him. Wheeljack left, allowing them their privacy.

They stood there, relaxing without worry or care about the war or hunting. All seemed right. And Metallicar couldn't wait for the day when it would be that way forever.

-

Alice held her head and groaned, pain lacing through it as Optimus held her to him, working with a data pad. He had mass-shifted and held his right arm around her waist, his chin on her right shoulder as she faced him, back to his work. She rest her head in the crook of his neck, making him smile a little as he hugged her a bit tighter. Her legs, to either side of his waist, swung back and forth a little bit.

"Is something troubling you my spark?" His deep baritone calmed her headache and she hummed a bit.

"Not really. Just a headache." She whispered.

"Then I should retain from talking to loud?" This made her shake her head.

"With where my head is sitting, your talking is like a massage on my scalp. Vibrates everything." He chuckled making her bury her face in his neck.

"Everything?" He purred, making her swat his chest.

"Perv." She teased, making him laugh. Her headache was nearly gone now. And his rumbling laughter was just killing off the last remaining traces.

"I take it your headache is nearly gone?" She smirked and bit down on the nearest cable. He hissed, his arm tightening around her waist as she felt him heat up. In turn he kissed her neck before nipping at the soft skin beneath her jaw.

"Dammit Op." She gasped, fingers digging into his shoulders. "Fuck." She hissed, feeling him smirk before he bit again.

"Was that a request?" He asked, watching her as she pulled back and grinned, her hands sliding down his chest.

"What do you think?" He growled and swept her up, discarding the datapad without a second thought. A moment later he reached the berth, setting her on it and growling possessively. Alice wore a smirk as Optimus towered over her, trapping her where she was.

"I think it was a request." He grinned.

"Then what do you intend to do about it?" He shuddered at her dark purr, leaning down close.

"Are you sure you want to know?" He could see in her eyes that she was enjoying this dark, possessive side of him.

"Positive." With that he wasted no time claiming her lips with his.

-

A scream of pain ripped through the base, beginning in the Med Bay. Ratchet and Bobby, who had been going through several old books, both looked up before glancing to each other worriedly.

"Juliet has awoken."
