Chapter Nineteen - Iaconian

I went to a party last Saturday night

I didn't get laid, I got in a fight,

Uh, huh

It ain't no big thing

Late for my job and the traffic was bad

Had to borrow ten bucks from my old man,

Uh, huh

It ain't no big thing

I went to a party last Saturday night

I told you that story, I'd be alright

Uh, huh

It ain't no big thing

Kiss Me Deadly - Lita Ford

(A.N.: No clue why but that was the only song that sounded even remotely good for this chapter. Also, the whole glass thing later was based on something I saw once. So yeah. Not 100% if it's all correct but I wanted to say that before someone yelled at me. Okay? Okay. Bye! {C.M.})

Gabriel awoke to the sound of retching and winced, knowing exactly where Jenny was. He stood and walked into the bathroom, moving over and holding her hair back. She gave him a grateful look before returning her attention to the bowl.

"Never again." She groaned, shuddering at the lingering taste coupled with the headache. Gabriel helped her stand once she was done, flushing and moving to brush her teeth. Only when this was done did Gabriel scoop her up and carry her to the bed. He sat with her in his lap and gently rubbed her temples, using a bit of his healing abilities to relieve her pain.

She leaned into his touch, humming softly in delight. "Better sweetheart?" She nodded.

"Much." She then gasped and stood quickly, her cheeks turning red. "L-last night. W-w-we didn't.... Did we?" He chuckled lightly and shook his head.

"No we didn't. Don't worry." He stood and walked over, kissing her. "You tried. But I didn't let you." She sighed in relief.

"Thank you Gabriel. I'm just..."

"Not ready. I understand. We've only been together about a week right?" She nodded. "So way too early for either of us to even consider it." He smiled, though knowing most others he had met didn't think that way.

She looked up at him and kissed him again, softly and lovingly. "Agreed." She smiled before chuckling. "I'm never getting drunk again." She shook her head.

Gabriel laughed a bit at this and stood. "Come on, let's go get breakfast."

"Can we have chocolate chip pancakes?" She chirped. He smiled at her and nodded.

"Sure. Why not?"

-

Sierra winced as she turned slightly, feeling marks littering her skin. A couple had even drawn some of her unusual blood, making her sit up. She noticed Soundwave laying beside her and still out cold.

"Sounds?" She spoke, laying across his back. She heard him wake up and humm slightly.

"Sierra: Alright?"

"Yeah. Just a little sore." She groaned as she sat up and stretched, arching her back and feeling it pop. Soundwave sat up and pulled her against his chassis. She smiled up at him and made herself comfortable. "Thanks Sounds." He nodded.

"Sierra: Most welcome."

Mary chirped up at Metallicar as she handed the little one a small rattle. The tiny femme grinned and giggled, shaking it and making as much noise as she could. Dean chuckled at the sight of his daughter playing and looked to Silver, who was chewing on a teething ring. It had been fashioned specifically for the sparklings so that they didn't have to worry about breaking the toy or getting hurt.

"Meta? Dean?" Both looked up as Alice walked into the room, Optimus hovering close behind her.

"Hey Alice." Metallicar greeted as Dean moved out of the chair so that Alice could sit. She did so and groaned slightly. "How do you feel?"

"Emotionally unstable and irritated that none of my personal clothes fit. I had to convince Galloway to order these." She gestured to the shirt she wore as Optimus sat by her feet, his helm on her knees. She smiled down at him. Her expression turned to one of shock, instantly causing Optimus to bolt upright.

"Alice?" Her hand dropped to her abdomen, the entire room falling silent for a few moments. Alice snapped out with a speed Optimus didn't even know she possessed, settling his servo where her hand had been moments before. Optimus remained confused until something hit his servo. It hit again and he looked up. "Is... Is that....?" She nodded.

"Uh-huh. That's the little one." He looked down again as another kick hit his servo. He carefully pulled Alice into his lap and rest his chin on her shoulder. His servos rest on her abdomen, digits laced together.

Mary crawled over and chirped up at them, holding her arms up. Optimus smiled and carefully leaned down, adjusting Alice so that he did not harm her. He scooped Mary up and settled her in Alice's lap.

The infant gently set her tiny servos against Alice's abdomen, feeling the baby move. She jolted in surprise before giggling and hugging Alice gently. As she hugged the woman Metallicar held Silver, smiling.

"That's adorable." She whispered to Dean, who nodded as he hugged his bonded from behind.

"It sure is." He smiled, kissing her cheek. Silver looked up at them and chirped.

"Yes sparklet?" Metallicar smiled at her son.

"D-dan-ni!" Metallicar froze, her optics wide.

"Did he just..." Dean trailed off. Silver looked up at him with a grin, pointing to Metallicar.

"Dan-ni!" The boy chirped again. His creators beamed and Metallicar hugged him, Dean hugging them both.

"That was very good baby boy." Metallicar praised.

"Yeah, that's my little man!" Dean grinned, stealing Silver away and raising him in the air. He began giggling loudly as Mary looked over, tilting her head. She chirped, loud enough to gain her mother's attention. Metallicar walked over and Mary reached up, careful not to bump Alice as she was lifted in the air.

"There's my girl." She smiled, kissing her forehead. Mary giggled and snuggled into her mother's chassis, yawning. Metallicar chuckled. "Come on baby, let's get you to bed." Mary chirped and snuggled in tightly, making Metallicar chuckle.

"Baby?" She looked to Dean, who was holding an equally tired Silver.

"Come on spark. Looks like it's nap time." She smiled, watching as her mate nodded in agreement.

As soon as they left, Optimus looked down at Alice, his servo settling on her abdomen. Alice looked up and smiled, kissing him gently. "Soon love. Promise." He smiled and rest his forehead against her own, both happy and content in the silence of the room.

Cliffjumper onlined to find his processor pounding and making it impossible to focus. He winced as his optics failed to adjust to the light. However, he was surprised when it dimmed down a moment later.

"Feeling better Red?" He looked up quickly before blushing brightly at the nickname. Zach looked genuinely concerned, making the Autobot take note of how exceptionally adorable it looked.

"Much." He nodded, smiling. "Ummm.... I didn't try to sleep with you last night. Did I?"

"No, don't worry." Cliffjumper sighed in relief.

"Good. I want to take this slow." He then realized what he said. "I mean that is if you really want to go out with a giant red robot alien from Cybertron." Cliffjumper's facial plates turned blue and he looked away. The demon smiled and crawled over, sitting by Cliff.

"I think I'd like that." He admitted. Cliffjumper smiled and leapt from the bed, wincing only slightly from the pain in his helm as he broke the Devil's trap that Dean had placed beneath his bed. Once it was gone he mass shifted and held a servo out for Zach to climb onto. He did so with a smile as the Autobot then left the room.

"Ah Zach." He turned to see Jason and Juliet, both stretched out on the couch and half watching a movie that Annabelle had put on. "This is where you vanished to. Experiencing the foreign flavors?" Zach rolled his eyes.

"No sir. Just enjoying the view." Juliet bit back a laugh at this, watching as her sister walked into the room with Gabriel close behind her.

"Jenny." Said woman looked up, smiling as she saw her sister.

"Morning Jules. Sleep well?" Juliet chuckled.

"Very well." She snuggled up to Jason as Jenny shook her head. "How about you sis? Last I heard you looked ready to jump someone." Jenny turned bright red as Gabriel stepped up.

"She didn't. She was way to drunk and I wasn't about to let that happen." Juliet looked to him, a flash going through her eyes before she quickly quelled it. Zach, however, noticed and smirked.

Juliet was obviously very protective of her sister and wasn't entirely sure she liked the thought of her dating. Though the demon could tell she wasn't going to say anything against them. Especially not with how calm and happy Jenny seemed.

Zach leapt down, looking up as a loud scream cut through base. "What in the name of hell was that?" He asked.

"Gabriel!!" An unfamiliar blonde walked in, her blue eyes blazing with rage. "What the hell?!" The archangel looked up and shrugged.

"Your roots were showing. So I helped you out." The woman growled and stepped forwards. "Woah! Easy there hormones."

"Alice." The woman paused and looked to Optimus.

"Sweetspark." She pouted. "He turned my hair back to blonde."

"Gabriel, would you mind returning it to the color we all know?" Optimus asked, standing defensively beside his small mate.

"Ugh, fine." He snapped his fingers, her hair once again turning purple.

"Thank you." She nodded before walking over and gently sitting herself in a chair. Optimus walked over and sat by her feet, his helm resting against her knees.

Zach looked around at the gathered group. "Well you certainly do know some interesting people don't you Red?" Cliffjumper nodded.

"Yeah. Most of them are insane." He laughed, smilng as Zach leaned against his pede.

"I take offense to that." Several gazes turned to the figure that walked in.

"Shifter. Finally get out of the twins berthroom?" Juliet asked with a smirk.

"Yeah. Sorry about that vamp. The twins lost the key to the cuffs." Rachel smirked as well and collapsed across from the vampire.

"I rest my case." Cliffjumper pointed out as he sat, Zach looking to him with a light smile.

"Autobots!" Metallicar rushed in then, Dean not far behind her with the twins in his arms. "Demons and Decepticons in Australia. We need to move. Fast!" Optimus looked to Alice and she nodded.

"Be careful love." He smiled and kissed her, hugging her close to his chassis.

"I will be. I promise."

"Jenny, Gabriel. Can you two watch the twins?" Dean asked.

"Sure thing Dean." Jenny smiled and took Mary, Gabriel taking Silver.

"Thanks. Now, we have to go." He rushed out with Metallicar and Optimus behind him. Cliffjumper stood and looked to Zach.

"Duty calls. I'll see you later." The demon waved as he left.

"See ya Red." He muttered after the Autobot was out of sight.

"Don't worry Zach. He will be fine." Jason stated. Zach glanced to him.

"I sure hope you're right." He spoke. Jason decided to leave it at that as he lay down on the couch, blocking everything out.

Prowl drove up to the bar, his holoform climbing from his alt. He had gotten word that a group of demons had been spotted here. So, as Metallicar and her group dealt with the ones in Australia, he sought these ones out, hoping to use the distraction to his advantage. He glanced over as Arcee pulled to a stop beside his alt, her holoform and Sam soon joining him.

He walked in, grimacing at the stench of blood, sweat and, of course, alcohol. Sam walked in with no problem, Arcee close behind him. She too grimaced at the stench as Sam walked over to the bartender, pulling his badge from the pocket of his jeans.

"Good evening, I'm Agent Smith, this is my partner Agent Wesson." He gestured to Prowl, who showed his badge as well.

"And the lady?" The man asked.

"My girlfriend." Sam covered. The bartender quirked an eyebrow and Sam shrugged. "She gave me a lift since my car's in the shop and the boss refuses to loan me another. He thinks I'm intentionally sabotaging mine."

"Ah. Your boss is a cutthroat prick eh?" Sam nodded.

"Was. Hopefully our full time boss will be back soon. She's been on leave."

"Oh? Familial?" He nodded.

"Getting ready to have a kid. So for now we're stuck with her dad." Prowl instantly realized that he meant Alice and Bobby, wondering just how many times they'd had to rely on the two.

"I see. So what can I do for you three?" Sam took a seat.

"Well, this is going to sound weird but we work for a special branch of the FBI. We're investigating some unusual sightings."

"You mean X-Files unusual?" Sam nodded. "Then you must be here about the UFO." This caught Prowl's attention and Sam noticed.

"Yeah, that's right." The man leaned in and began whispering.

"So about a week ago this thing flies down, chunks falling everywhere. I'm shutting down and zoom! This thing flies over the bar. A falling chunk almost decapitates me. Hell, it's still out back." He mused. "Anyways. Next thing I know this town's full of little green men in disguise. Some of them posing as cars." Sam glanced to Prowl, who looked deeply offended.

"Little green men?" He asked calmly.

"Aliens." Prowl sighed.

"There is no evidence to support the existence of little green men. Many I've seen are silver. But the ones we need have pitch black eyes."

"Yeah. Then these are the one's your looking for." Sam stood.

"Thank you for your help sir. We'll need to take a look at the debris and then get directions to the crash site."

"Oh don't worry about directions. Just follow the trail of glass." Sam was confused but nodded.

"Will do. Again thank you." With that they turned and walked out.

-

"Little green men?!" Prowl huffed, crossing his arms. "The nerve of him! There are no such thing!" He growled as Arcee laughed, walking up to the fallen slab of metal. She mulled it over before moving on up the hill.

"Prowl, relax. He doesn't know what you are and he wasn't directing it towards you." Sam explained, catching up with Arcee. Prowl simply continued to grumble to himself, nearly pouting about it. He fell silent, however, as a blackened road of glass appeared before them, the sand around it partially hardened as well. The so called 'road' was uneven and cracked in places. Though it continued on in a straight line, up to a mound of sand that the object had obviously punched through, turning the sand there into glass as well.

"Whatever did this must have been really, really, really hot. Like out of the atmosphere and self-propelled hot." Arcee knelt, her fingers touching the surface. Preserved beneath was a trail of blue, making Arcee's eyes widen. "Energon!" She stood and rushed forwards, Sam and Prowl hot on her heels.

They came to the glass tunnel and slowed, watching as it continued for a few feet before opening, tiny bits of glass scattered here and there on the other side.

"Wow. This is actually kinda pretty." Sam muttered, his hand pressed against the perfectly smooth walls. I wonder how thick the walls are." He muttered before continuing on.

They finally reached the end of the path, pausing to see a cluster of Decepticons already working on retrieving the item. One Vehicon unearthed it, the sand around it having turned to glass and encasing the object.

"Commander Starscream. We have unearthed the object."

"Very good! Bring it to me!" The Seeker shrieked. The Vehicon nodded and placed it in front of Starscream, who shattered the glass around it and lifted the capsule, Arcee gasping.

"Those pods. They're from Iacon." She whispered vehemently.

"Yes. Relics to be evacuated off world in the event of war. But for them to have landed on Earth?" Prowl hummed in thought.

"At least the one." Arcee moved to stand but Sam stopped her.

"Wait." He whispered, pulling her back down beside him. She nodded and both turned their attention to Starscream as the lid of the pod was torn off. He pulled the object from within and Arcee felt a bolt of fear through her spark.

"Sam." She whimpered.

"What? What is it 'Cee?"

"That thing.... It's...." She looked up at him. "It's the Spark Extractor."
