(Reunion with a family member)
-Nobody's P.O.V.: 2 days later...-
Packing. Nothing was in the cabin anymore, everything that Sasha own had been put & kept into boxes, it was time to leave the cabin house for good this time, Sasha had carried one of the last few boxes inside the trolley as the evidence of her living there and the adventure she had witnessed wasn't safe anymore; Evidently, Sasha was thinking about Logan as flashbacks of their moments together had been fun and some funny moments along the way. She couldn't help but miss him every day but, right now she can't think about him anymore as she is ready to leave the old snowy surroundings; Supposedly Sasha wanted to call her sister today but, she decided against it because if anything went wrong, she could get herself tracked down by Hydra, or worst, Weapon X facility and like she said: "I can't stay here. She continues, "They'll be looking for me through phones, best to hit the road than stay in one place no?" Talking to herself, she had done everything to be quiet but her desire for adventure and love came into view that Sasha had worked hard for, moving out of the cabin house hadn't been easy, it had taken a lot of pushing, saying yes that's it, let's do it.
So much had been said, Sasha had been thinking about it for a long time, even if she wasn't sure why she wants to but a part of her tells her to run away to her sister and the other one says to let your heart take you. And that's what she did, Sasha takes out her matches from her pockets, and turns them on by throwing them at the cabin house as flames started to burn the entire place while the snow started falling: "No evidence is needed." With that, she got on and left on her motorcycle while a big trolley of her stuff was connected to the back of her engine.
In Washington DC...
Sasha had been riding her motorcycle for 35 hours on the road from ElkFord, Canada to Washington DC, sure she took some bathroom breaks along the way but, she couldn't help but feel free from the past and notice that it was getting dark; Few more minutes and Sasha parked near the curbside outside a red brick townhouse with the lights of the living room turned on. She gets off it and immediately runs up to the door, with one finger, she pressed the doorbell of the townhouse, hoping that it was the right address Sasha waited until she heard the door open to meet a woman with the same brown hair but a bit lighter, grey eyes small oval glasses, dressed in a purple shirt blouse, a lab coat, and a dark purple skirt.
Once the woman met Sasha in front of her, her grey eyes turn watery, as she gasped with her hands covering her mouth, but broke when she notice Sasha rubbing the back of her head awkwardly before saying: "Hey sis, uh...listen, I'm here to ask a favor for you um...I know you are probably busy as usual but, I just recently got here, and I need a place to-What the?!"
Her bags dropped the moment she was tackled into a bear hug by Betty, who cried in joy while expressing her happiness, "Of course, I'll let you live with me! Why wouldn't I? It's been so long since I last saw you, please come in." "B-But, you have work!" "Doesn't matter, I'll cancel and tell my boss that I am at an emergency meeting with someone from my family, he'll understand." Betty cheerfully lets her younger sister inside but before Sasha can do so, she turned and said, "Sis, I need my stuff." "Oh right well, we can put it in the backyard so you won't have to let anyone steal your motorcycle." "C'mon, sis you're helping." Both of them laughed as the Ross sisters carried every box off the trolley after placing them inside the living room, Sasha got a better view of the inside, the living room had two colored grey couches with an automatic fireplace that is next to the attic, on the other side, was a grey sofa that matched the couches, with a round coffee table that included a stack of Agatha Christie's movie collection, and her large rectangular-shaped window was half-open by the rays of sunlight radiating on her right.
"Wow, Sasha whistled: "Quite a cozy home don't ya think?" "Yup, after I got the job at the Avengers tower, I've been buying decor items with Janet. The Wasp, Remember? I sent letters to you so I could tell you about what I've been doing for the past few years of your absence in my life." Betty commented before she looked at her younger sister, who gave her the half-opened letters on the coffee table with a slight smirk: "You didn't read them, right." "Y'know I'm not into decor crap, Betty." They glared at one another before chuckling, which caused Betty to pout a bit, "But anyways tell me how was your life over at ElkFord Town? I remember you wrote to me about you meeting Bruce, how is he?" "Oh, my brother-in-law? Well, I saved him from getting in trouble." Sasha answered, "What trouble? Betty asked worriedly: "He didn't mention it to me when he joined back with the Avengers." She spoke a bit baffled by the new information, goes to the kitchen to brew some tea while she (Sasha) took off her jacket, hangs it on the wall, takes her boots off, and places them in the shoe closest to the front door, and washes her hands in the emergency bathroom and comes back to sit down on the couch:
"Well, you're gonna need to sit down. Sasha added, which her older sister closed, locks the door then comes back into the living room, handed her a cup of Mint tea, and sits down on the couch across from her but suddenly she places both her hands together in front of her knees and stared directly at her older sister with a serious look: "it's a...a long complicated story."
