Chapter 4

Later:

Kakuzu was pulling up in an alleyway as he hit Izuku in the shoulder, "OW!" Izuku shouted as Kakuzu put his hand over the boy's mouth

"Keep quiet, brat. We're here," Kakuzu whispered as he got out of the truck

"W-Why did you hit me?" Izuku whispered back as he followed his sensei. Kakuzu just smacked Izuku on the back of the head again and said: "Be vigilant. Always be prepared for anything, even if your ally is trying to kill you,"

"O-Okay, just please, s-stop hitting me," Izuku begged as Kakuzu give him a hard flick

"And don't expect mercy from your enemies," Kakuzu sneered, rolling his eyes. Izuku nodded, staying silent for the time being. After walking a few feet from the truck, Kakuzu made a hard right and started walking straight up the brick wall of the alley. Shocked at this revelation, Izuku gulped as he looked at his feet and then at the wall.

"It's just like the water-walking exercise, now hurry up," Kakuzu said as he turned around and looked down at Izuku

"O-Okay," Izuku whispered, taking a deep breath as he focused his chakra to his feet and placed one foot on the wall. Trying to move it a few times to make sure it wouldn't fall off, he then placed his other foot onto the wall. When he did so, he was surprised that both his feet were on the wall, but that amazement vanished when he hit the back of his head on the cement because of the weight of his body. Falling completely off the wall, he heard a disappointed sigh from Kakuzu as looked up to see the man rubbing the bridge of his nose, "I knew I should've just went solo," he could hear Kakuzu mumble

"L-Let me try again!" Izuku said as he stood up and tried again. Placing both feet onto the wall, he leaned forward to try and not hit his head. After a few minutes, Izuku managed to walk up next to Kakuzu as the ladder turned back to walking up the wall.

Izuku felt a bit sad, not hearing any positive reinforcement after successfully walking up the wall. He sighed, following Kakuzu to the top of the building. Once he got to the top, he saw Kakuzu kneeling at a door. The sound of a dead-lock unlocking soon caused Kakuzu to stand up, "About time. Now get in," the shinobi ordered as he opened the door

"Okay," Izuku followed the order, walking through the door and down a flight of stairs. Hearing the door close, he turned around to see his sensei jump down next to him and land silently without any difficulty.

Kakuzu went down one more flight of stairs with Izuku trailing behind him, but they stopped when Kakuzu opened a door and stopped. Izuku was behind him and saw an empty hallway, "W-why did we stop?"

"Be quiet," Kakuzu responded as he reached into his cloak and pulled out a bottle of... baby powder. Opening the lid, he put some on his hand and tossed it into the hallway, revealing laser trip-wires, "Tch, I hate these things," Kakuzu mumbled as he brought his hands up.

Izuku was wondering what he was doing when he saw the back of Kakuzu's cloak move. His eyes widened when he saw the black threads from Kakuzu's body creep up onto the back of his sensei's neck with a mask on the front.

The mask was completely white with horns and a yellow nose, almost like an oni.

Izuku then saw the mask extend outwards next to Kakuzu's head as he saw Kakuzu's hands go through a series of motions that could only be described as a blur. The mask then had a small ball of energy form in front of it as Kakuzu said: "Raiton: Jibashi!" (AN, Jutsu will now be used like this, but if you want an English translation, just ask) and a wave of electricity was shot from the mask into the hallway. The lasers soon vanished as the mask and threads receded back into Kakuzu, the old shinobi walked into the hallway and stopped at the third door on the right, "You're really starting to make me regret my decision of bringing you along, brat," Kakuzu grumbled, causing Izuku to run to him

"S-Sorry, sensei. B-But what was that?" Izuku asked as Kakuzu knelt down and started picking at the door's lock

"Something you'll be able to do in the future... if you live long enough," Kakuzu replied, opening the door as he put away his lock-pick. Standing up, he walked into the door with Izuku taking a few steps in front of him.

Izuku looked around with what light was in the room and saw an assortment of... very, very expensive items. What seemed to be a Chinese vase was to his left, a huge expensive painting was to his right, and he looked down to see that the rug they were standing on was made from a polar bear skin!

"H-Holy crap! This stuff looks expensive!" Izuku said as he heard Kakuzu chuckling

"Hehehehe, this vase could go for an easy half-a-million. That painting is at least worth 750 thousand. And this bear rug... I'm saying about 50 thousand," Kakuzu said as he pulled out some scrolls and rolled them onto the floor. Kakuzu's hands were a blur again as he placed his hands on the scrolls. A huge cloud of smoke was created from nothing as when the smoke cleared, the vase, painting, and rug were gone, "W-Where did everything go?!" Izuku questioned

"Somewhere safe, I'd hate for such priceless pieces to go to waste," Kakuzu replied as he rolled up the scrolls and put them into his cloak, "now stop talking, we're close."

Izuku nodded, staying silent as they came upon a large bed with a man on it. The man had a pelican beak and giant webbed feet sticking out from under his blanket. Kakuzu walked to the man as he pulled out a roll of duct-tape and quickly unrolled some tape out, making a loud sound that caused the man to wake up, "Uh-wha?" the man muttered as Kakuzu wrapped the duct-tape around the man's beak, "HMMM! MPH! MHMHMH!"

"Shut-up," Kakuzu said as he placed a hand on the man's forward and made a sign with his other hand. Izuku surprisingly sensed a strange influx of chakra coming from Kakuzu as the man went back to sleep.

"Tie him," Kakuzu ordered as he tossed Izuku some wire

"R-Right," Izuku replied, quickly ran over to the man sleeping on the bed and tied his... wing-like appendages together and his feet. When he was done, Izuku looked at his sensei, who was collecting more expensive pieces of art, "S-Sensei! I'm done!"

"Good, now carry him," Kakuzu looked at an expensive-looking box with a lock on the front, "I wonder how much I can get for you,"

"S-Sensei?"

"Did I stutter, brat?" Kakuzu's voice was laced with anger as Izuku shook his head

"N-No, sensei! I-I heard you!" Izuku grabbed the man's arms and he heaved him into his back. Izuku took a few deep breaths and managed to carry him on his back, "W-Wow, h-he's heavy!"

"The more you complain, the heavier he's gonna get. But if you really want to make things easier, channel chakra to your muscles," Kakuzu instructed as he sealed the box into another scroll. Izuku nodded as he tried to channel chakra into his own muscles. After a few seconds, Izuku felt stronger as the man on his back felt lighter, "It worked?"

"Of course it worked. Not get walking," Kakuzu pointed at the open door. Nodding once again, Izuku quickly ran to the open door... until he tripped on something and fell flat on his face, "OUCH!"

*WHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO*

"A tripwire... of course," Kakuzu face-palmed as Izuku was moaning in pain on the floor.

[Sorry this took so long to update, I've got no excuse for it. But I hope you all liked it!]
