Following 2 stressful days since Pam passed out in the bathroom of the PC, things started to calm down a little bit

Max was at his house already up and making breakfast, today he had a appointment with the doctor to see if he was cleared to go back to wrestle even he was a little hesitant in coming back and leave all this mess to Shawn and the rest of coaches, a passed out student is going to bring down the moral of the rest of trainees and with it their performance

But before Max could continue to decide to stay or not his phone starts ringing so he grabs his phone and see who it is

"Steph"

He immediately picks up the call he needed to hear a familiar voice to take him out of all of this thoughts

Max: hey Steph how is everything

Steph: I don't know, how is everything with you Maxwell

Max: well shit

Steph: can you explain to me why are you wrestling with the trainees TWO days before your medical test

Max: how the hell does sh-

Then he remembers the goddamn cameras from which Paul observes the trainees matches through his computer in his office in Connecticut

Max: for fuck sake Paul i told you to put a password on your computer you old raggedy bastard, okay don't lose your cool just tell her the truth

Max: oh that I just wanted to help and one of the trainees didn't have a partner to wrestle against and well I wasn't going to let Shawn wrestle you know with his back and all that comes with being old

Steph didn't say a word whick only made Max panic more and more

Max: please don't kill me like I said I just wanted to help

Steph: that doesn't takes away from the fact that you could have get yourself even more hurt than you already are Max

Max: i know but you more than anyone knows that I like to train this people It makes me really happy and also helps not just the trainees and coaches but me Steph why do you think I started to train newcomers since 2005

Max helped and trained a good bunch of people in the WWE and FCW too, he liked it he got to help people chasing their dream of becoming wrestlers but also it really helped Max himself who at the time was depressed after Eddie's death and help people kinda took him out of that dark place and Steph knew that she was there when Max was slowly falling into a emotional spiral and also was one of the people trying to take him out of it

Steph: *sigh* i know Max what that doesn't mean you can stop caring about your fisical health you have a lot of things to do now more than ever as number 1 contender for the tag team championship with Cody after extreme rules

This just made Max feel more guilty he was the tag team partner of Cody, a man he considers a brother from another mother, who was waiting for him to become tag team champions, something they have been asking for since Cody's debut in 2007 he can't failed him like this

Max: okay okay look I'm going to start training differently, maybe I will do footing and things like that okay? Just a few days more of helping out before I have to come back if I am cleared

Steph: you promise me that you won't enter the ring unless is to help someone without entering in a match?

Max: i promise in my life Steph don't worry alright

Steph takes a second before answering

Steph: okay but the second i see you enter that ring to fight I swear to God Max I'm....

Max: i know i know you are going to kill me i love you sorry for making you worry

Steph: i love you too Max and I will always worry no matter what take care of yourself bye

Max: bye

Max sighed after he hangs up that conversation definitely put his mind in place he needs to stop risking things like this two weeks out of action can turn in months if he keeps it up like this and it not only affects him but also the people in storylines with him and more

Max: enough now I just need to hear from the doctor, help Shawn a little bit more and get back to win the championship with Cody

He eats his breakfast as fast as he can and gets in his car

but before he takes off he sends a text to Paul

"Hey Mr clean next time your wife is in your office please make sure to put a password to your computer before she kills me"

and he drives off to the PC

(Shorter than I wanted to be but work has been kicking my ass lately between that and figuring out how to continue it been a rollercoaster of deciding if I wanted to write or not but well at least i finished this chapter)
