WHISPERS. THAT'S WHAT THE
witch heard when she had opened her eyes. It has been a day or 2 since Faith had been hurt. She had now slowly opened her eyes finally , and then realized she was at Skylar and Athena their appartment by their voices.

She turned to look around to regonice Stefan who was talking to her friends. 

"So...she heals like a human but slower?" the vampire asked the werewolf who then nodded.

"How is that even possible?"

Athena sighted as she grabbed her school supplies.

"She is cursed. Thats all I can tell. It is for her to tell you" she answered, and then patted his shoulder.

The healer now slowly got up from the bed, walking over to them. Skylar raised her eyebrow, looking concerned at the girl.

"Faith...get back to bed"

"No...I'm doing fine alright"
She answered stubbornly.

Stefan grabbed the girl her arm gently at which she flinched.

"Hey ...I'm not going to hurt you and Damon won't ever lay hands on you again too alright"

Faith stared at his hand which was laying on her arm, instantly she started feeling butterflies, and she now smiled at him. She always felt like this but she would have never cheated on Holly. But now they are over.

She knew all the time it was wrong to fall for him while he was dating her best friend, and she herself was dating someone too. This was also the reason she stayed away from him as much as she could. But no matter how hard she tried.... it was like the universe wanted them to be together.

The couple had already left to school without the two noticing. They hated Holly at the moment. Faith had told them what she said to her, from the fact Holly didn't love her at all and that Faith was appearently putting everyone including her kids in danger.  That all had crossed the line for them.

They wanted Faith to be happy. Athena was even brought from Aquaria to protect the queen. Athena was trained there  by her own father who was Faith her special guard. He ofcourse wasn't alive now. 

Faith now walked to the mirror of the bathroom to look at the nasty wound on her neck. 

"How...are you alive?"

That question got the healer of guard. How was she alive?

She turned around to look at him. "I don't know what you mean" she said, immediately feeling guilty that she was lying.

"You're lying...Faith. You know I am here for you, but we can't have secrets" he spoke.

The witch looked down.
"I'm a cursed heretic..." she admitted half, but Stefan wasn't buying it as he saw always through her lies.

The vampire sighted, rubbing with his fingers on his temple.

"You don't believe me?"

"No, I don't. I can see through your lies, because you are a terrible liar Leigh"

He was right. She was a terrible liar. 

"..."

"So what are you?" he now asked, stepping towards her.

IT WAS AN HOUR LATER WHEN IT
was time for Stefan and Faith to get to school too. Stefan was in too much shock as he had to process the fact the girl he loved was a literal Goddess.

They now sat down in their seats in class before it started. Elena was now staring at Stefan.

"Why the hell is she here?''

Stefan looked at her and shrugged. "She didn't want to hear a 'no', and she said she was fine. And to be honest she looks fine don't you think?"

Elena rolled slightly her eyes. She didn't like Faith at the moment. She took Stefan away from her. But at the same time she wanted to protect her as she looked young and innocent. She was still her best friend after all. Someone who she felt she was responsible for who got into this mess of her. 

The doppelgänger then took the poster for the 60s decade dance out of her bag and showed it to Stefan with a smile. He shook his head in disapproval. It was too dangerous in his eyes. Someone dangerous was after Elena. Parties weren't an option. Elena then showed it to Bonnie, and Faith.  They both exitedly nodded their head at which Elena looked back at Stefan with a smirk.

The healer focussed on her drawing while waiting for Alaric to arrive to teach. As the history teacher finally arrived, Faith felt immediately something was wrong, not knowing what it was. 

''Hello, class. What are we learning today?'' Alaric asked. 

Okay this was strange, the witch thought. They had been covering the sixties all week. 

''With the decade dance tonight, we've been covering the sixties all week.'' she spoke, looking into the male his eyes, up from her drawing. 

''Right. The sixties.'' he said while now seeing Elena, kindly staring a bit at her and then turning to the board. creepy... Faith thought.

''The, uh, ahem... The sixties. I wish there was something good I could say about the sixties, but...Actually, they kind of sucked. Except for the Beatles, of course. They made it bearable. Uh, what else was there? The Cuban missile thing, the...we walked on the moon. There was Watergate.''  Alaric now started while writing onto the board.

''Watergate was the seventies, Ric. I-I mean, Mr. Saltzman.'' Elena now said.

Weird...why did Alaric not sound like himself?

''Right. It all kind of mushes together up here, the sixties, seventies. Thank you, Elena.''

As the class ended the tribrid packed her bag, stood up and walked out the classroom, feeling the same strange feeling.

GROUPCHAT

Sunshine: Something strange is happening

Dirty swimmer: What do you mean Faith?

Red wolf: Are you alright??

Sunshine: I am fine. Don't worry. I was just at history class and I don't know...but Alaric was acting strange

Red wolf: FAITH

Dirty swimmer: Should have seen this coming

Sunshine: What???

Red wolf: Athena is gone now at swimming practise, but what we meant is. WHAT THE HELL are you doing AT SCHOOL???

Sunshine: Learning? What else

Red wolf: You had an accident. You are supposed to be resting

Sunshine: Could you just listen to me. There are more important stuff going on! I'm fine! I took some medication and told....well I will tell that tonight

Red wolf: Fine. So what is going on?

Sunshine: Alaric is acting weird...like not himself. I immediately got the feeling when he got in the class

Red wolf: Hmm....maybe he has a bad day? drank too much? But you are mostly right....you're feelings well are mostly right

Sunshine: Could....and yup it mostly is. So what shall we do?

Red wolf: Now. nothing. 

Sunshine: but

Red wolf: Tonight we can discuss everything with Athena 

Sunshine: Alright, you are right. gotta go bye!

Red wolf: Bye!! xx

The healer closed her phone, worried of whatever was going on with Alaric as she knew her feeling was telling her something. Something she didn't know yet. People were now preparing for the dance outside while some others had swim practise. She knew her friends were at the swimming place now. She decided now to sit with Bonnie, and Jeremy in the cafeteria after getting some food.

''Did you tell Elena what it's going to take for you to do that Klaus spell?'' Jeremy asked Bonnie as Faith now sat down. 

''No, and you're not, either.'' the Bennet witch replied, not noticing Faith.

''Well, she's gotta know you can't do it.''

''You don't know I can't. Have a little faith in me.''

''That's not fair. You can't harness the power of a hundred dead witches. It'll kill you.''

At that the tribrid her eyes widened. ''Hundred witches?? Kill?? Bonnie what is going on??''

''Shh! We don't know that for certain. You promised to keep my secret, I'm trusting you. And you now too Faith....I'm going through with this, and if you two tell anyone, I swear...'' Bonnie now said , glaring at Faith mostly. 

''What? What are you gonna do?'' she now asked the witch friend curiously. 

Bonnie had no time to respond to that as Elena walked up to them carrying her lunch on a tray.

''Hey, Jer. How you doing? Are you okay at the house alone with John?'' she asked her little brother.

''It's not ideal.'' he said with a sigh as he got up, grabbing the healer her arm now who raised an eyebrow at the sudden movement. 

''You haven't heard from Jenna, have you?''

''It looks like she's staying on campus. Look I'm...I'm late for class.'' he muttered as he dragged now Faith with him to his class. 

''Jer....I don't have the same class as you'' she started confused.

''I know...but we have to talk after class, and I am in no mood to just find you then''

She now rapidly blinked as he dragged her now into the classroom to the back in the corner. She then sat down beside him, grabbing some homework she had. The teacher didn't suspect anything so that was good. 

As class was over Jeremy now dragged the tribrid to the janitors closet, closing the door behind them and closing the blinds.

''Okay...what the hell is going on-''

''Use your magic to lock the door and make this room soundproof'' he now whispered.

''What why??''

''Just do it!'' he now snapped at which he immediately apologised for. 

Faith just shook her head and did what she was told, and then faced him as she crossed her arms. ''I'm waiting''

Jeremy took a deep breath and looked into the healer her eyes now. ''You heard Bonnie....could you please help and make sure she doesn't die?''he asked. Worry was soundable in his voice. 

The healer sighted in defeat. ''Fine, I don't want Bonnie to die either. I will put a protection spell on her so when she does it will look for an hour that she is dead but then she will wake up, alright?''

The young Gilbert just nodded. ''Thank you Leigh''

She smiled. ''No problem Jer''

AT THE SALVATORE BOARDING   House Faith sat on the couch, biting on her nails as she kept thinking of what was happening. Alaric was acting strange and she knew something was wrong. The brunette then focussed again on the 4 people infront of her. 

''So we go to the dance, we find him.'' Damon said to all of them at which Faith raised an eyebrow. ''Really? How are we going to do that?'' Stefan said at which the tribrid nodded. ''We don't even know what he looks like.'' she chimed in.

''Something tells me he's not going to be sixteen and pimply.'' Damon said with a shrug.

 ''No shoot'' 

Everyone now looked at her. ''What?'' 

''You mean no shit'' Bonnie said at which Faith sighted. ''No. I do not curse''

''Snorebore'' Damon muttered at which Elena slapped him on his arm, glaring at him.

''He could be anywhere at any time. He compelled somebody at school.'' Stefan then said at which the healer her eyes widened as everything now made sense for her slowly.

''I guess it's not as safe as you guys thought, huh?'' the vampire then said, looking at the three girls. Faith flinched as someone knocked onto the door. She looked at the blonde male and tried to tell him what she was thinking, but got interrupted by a voice.

''Sorry I'm late.''

She turned to look at Alaric Saltzman who was here now in the same livingroom as them. But she knew it wasn't him. She went a tiny bit pale as the male nodded at her. Immediately it felt like she couldn't say anything.

''Hey, I need you to put me down as a chaperone at the dance tonight. Klaus made his first move.'' Damon said to the teacher who then stopped looking at the little witch.

''Okay, so we find him and then what, hmm? What's our plan of attack?'' Elena started at which Bonnie smiled.

''Me. I'm the plan. He has no idea how much power I can channel. If you can find him, I can kill him.'' 

''That's not going to be that easy. I mean, he is the biggest, baddest vampire around.'' Ric said at which Faith now for sure knew it was him. The way he described the vampire was suspicious for her.

''Alaric has a point. I mean, what if he...'' the bourbon addicted started aas he rushed at the witch, and he then got thrown by Bonnie her magic to the other side of her room with her powers, without touching him. 

''Well, I was impressed.'' Stefan said as he witnessed the whole thing.

''And we have Faith her magic too'' she added.

Faith bit her innercheek as everyone looked at her. 

''My magic isn't that strong'' she lied.

''Thats a lie, I feel your power...it's a lot..I think Jonas felt it too'' the Bennet witch said as she looked at her friend who now looked down at her hands. This made the teacher look at the tribrid intrigured by her power.

''See it doesn't matter if he's an Original. We can take down anyone who comes at us. We can kill him, Elena. I know we can.'' the witch continued.

''Well to be honest....I think he is closer to us then we think he is'' the brunette said, referring to Alaric who now saw Faith as a danger. He knew now she knew.

In Alaric his apartment Katherine was still in the chair. Her leg had blood all over it. She still had the knife in her hand.

''Ah, you're right. This witch is all juiced up and aiming to kill. And not alone appearently'' Klaus/Alaric said.

''That's terrible.'' Katherine said, not meaning it at all.

The original now looked at his warlock who was in the kitchen. ''We're gonna have to kill them, Maddox.'' he said while opening a drawer.

''Do you think this Alaric guy has anything vintage?'' he asked while looking at shirts when he sees there's something under. He opened it and saw a lot of weapons to kill vampires.

 ''Crossbows, wooden bullets and automatics? Who is this guy, again?''

''He's the local vampire hunter.''

 ''Ahh. Well, that explains the clothing.''

Maddox held out a glass of bourbon to Klaus. ''All I could find. Guy likes his bourbon.'' he said as he gave him the glass, and Alaric/Klaus took it.

 ''I knew there was something about him I liked. There's a high school dance and I'm gonna need you to take out two witch bitches.''

''If they have that much power, they can sense me coming from a mile away. I won't be able to get near them. You have to do it.''

''In this body? I'm a haggard history teacher. They can easily hurt me. I mean, not me, Klaus me, but you know what I mean.''

''No witch could handle channeling that much power. It'll kill her. It would kill me. You just have to make them use it. And maybe firstly take already one out unexpectedly.'' 

''You mean like provoking her to death? And sure...one seems to be an easy kill anyways. Too oblivious.'' Klaus said with a smile.

''Won't take long. Just keep attacking her until it kills her. His body, Alaric's, will last longer than hers will.''

''How? He's human.''

''I can help in that department. I can do a spell to protect you.''

(smut sky and athena, faith getting ready with bonnie and elena )

''We should get ready for the dance'' Athena said while Skylar was kissing her neck, moving down to her breasts. 

''I thought you were enjoying this'' the werewolf said.

''Ofcourse I am, but you know how I feel about being late and all'' the heretic responded.

''Fine...we will continue after the dance''

Athena looked down with a smile and kissed her girlfriend on her lips. ''Definitly''

The time has come and the dance was starting. Faith was leaving the schoolbathroom on her way to the dance when her arm got suddenly grabbed, and she got dragged into a classroom. 

''Jeremy seriously...'' she started thinking it was the little Gilbert, but soon realized that when she turned around that it wasn't him at all. 

Alaric Saltzman locked the classroom door and then turned around looking at the brunette. ''You can drop the act now'' 

The healer tried to laugh it off like she knew nothing. ''No idea what you mean by that''

''Oh quit the lying love...you know I'm not your history teacher'' he spoke as he walked towards her at which she backed away to the corner of the classroom. Fear was taking over her body. Faith knew it was a 1000 years old vampire who was in the body of Alaric Saltzman. Klaus could hear now her heartbeat increase at which he came even closer to her.

''....Stay away from me'' she spoke now with a trembeling voice at which the original smiled, stroking her cheek now with his hand. 

''So fragile...that witch got you good'' he said as he examined her neck. 

''plantis auxilium defende me et illum anhelantem reddam ad aerem'' the tribrid now muttered under her breath while tears welled up in her eyes. Klaus his hand then dropped as his hands then immediately went to his throat as he made choking sounds. 

Plants, their branches circled around the orginal his throat which the girl had done. The plants tightened their grip, knowing they had to defend their queen. But then something unexpectedly happened when the healer tried to run past him. The man slammed the girl with her back to the wall and now grabbed her throat with force. His hands squeesed her throat and it made the woman impossible to breath like him, but now as the witch lost focus, the plants dissapeared and the man could breath. 

''I admire your power witch...so don't worry. I won't kill you yet'' Klaus said while Faith her eyes slowly shut and her arms fell to her side. He let go and watched the girl drop unconcious onto the ground. He then averted his gase at the window where Maddox stood who also looked at the unconcious girl.

AFTER THAT EVENT ALARIC/KLAUS
ran up to Bonnie and Elena outside.
"Elena!"

"What is it?" she asked her teacher.

"He has Faith."

"What?"

"What?!" Bonnie also said, worried sick now for her friend.

"Yeah, Klaus has Faith. Come on." he said as they followed him through a side door and into a hallway. He smirked as his plan was working.

"Okay, so where are you taking us?" Bonnie asked him as they continued to walk after him.

"Just a little further." he said, knowing his plan worked.

"Wait...Something's not right." Elena said, noticing now something was off.

"Where's Faith?" the witch now asked out loud at which Klaus stopped walking and laughed.

"I just had to get away from that dance. The sixties, ugh. Not my decade." he laughed.

"I mean, whose call was that, anyway? I much prefer the twenties. The style, the parties, the jazz." he continued as he turned around to face the two girls.

"Alaric. Are you on vervain?" Elena asked, confused of what was going on and why he was acting weird.

"Now why would you ask me that question, Elena?"

"He's being compelled."

"Nope. Try again."

"What's going on?" the doppelgänger now said even more confused.

"Okay, I'll give you a hint. I am not Alaric."

At that Elena her face paled and she backed a bit away, standing infront of Bonnie. "Klaus!"

Alaric/Klaus smiled broadly. "Surprise"
"Oh, no. No, it's not possible." she said, trying to progress the new information.

"Just relax, Elena. I'm not here to hurt you. You're not on my hit list tonight." he started before looking at Bonnie.

"But you are."

He started walking towards Bonnie, but she threw him against the wall with her powers though he immediately got up.

"Now, did I mention that I knew a witch? You're gonna have to hit me a lot harder than that." he spoke before he rushed over to her,  and she threw him now against a display case, smashing the glass. He fell to the ground but laughed.

"By all means...Fire away!" he said as he got up. "If you kill this body, I'll just get a new one. Maybe Jeremy."

"Go. Run. Run!" the witch now yelled and the two girls ran while Bonnie closed the doors with her powers.
Damon ran then through another pair of doors and joined them, not knowing what was happening.

"What happened?"

"Klaus is in Alaric's body." Elena answered, out of breath.

"What?"

"He's possessing it or something." Bonnie explained to him.

The vampire then looked at the brunette. "Go find Stefan. Now."

"Okay."

She left and Damon and Bonnie were now alone.
"Can you kill him?"

"He's got some kind of protection spell on him."

"You have the power of a hundred witches. Break it." he said annoyed.

"I'm trying! If I kill Alaric, he'll just possess someone else. He knows I have my power, Damon. He's trying to kill me."

"No. Klaus does not get to win tonight, no way. You still willing to do whatever it takes to kill him?"

ELENA WAS NOW MOVING
through the dance floor, looking all around her. Caroline then saw her while being with Matt.

"Hey! Are you okay?" she asked worried.

"Um...Yeah. I'm just...I'm looking for Stefan." she replied and then sighted in relief as she saw him.

"Seriously, what's wrong?"

"Uh, just, um, just stay with Matt, okay?" she said as she went to him.

"Do you know where Leigh is?" Stefan asked Elena.

"Wait...what do you mean...Faith isn't here!?" she said, trying to get above the music.

Stefan nodded at which Elena her eyes widened. "Oh God..." she mumbled.

"What is it Elena??" the vampire asked her now concerned.

"Come with me." she said.
This meant Klaus wasn't lying to get them out of the dance. He did have Faith.

THE TRIBRID SLOWLY OPENED
her eyes. Pannick hit her as she layed in an unknown car. She heard someone rummaging through some stuff at which she slowly got up, and dove out the car.

She walked while rubbing her throat which was still aching towards the school, but saw Alaric/Klaus exiting from it. He didn't notice her yet. Though the warlock did notice her. Before he could cast a spell she ran.

She ran into the forest as fast as she could with her heels on. She pushed branches away as she kept running. She then heard people close behind her. As more pannick hit her she didn't watch the ground, and she tripped over a branch on the road and fell off a small hill.

She immediately dragged herself behind a tree, tears now rolling down. The brunette covered her mouth with her hand to make no sound. She could hear the warlock walking around.

After some minutes she sighted in relief. But her joy soon washed away as when she stepped away from the tree, Klaus/Alaric was standing there. "Hello love."

The witch immediately turned around to run, but Klaus was faster and had now grabbed her tightly. "Woah now...not so fast."

He also put chains on her wrists to stop her from doing magic. Tears streamed down her face as he now also threw her over his shoulder and walked back to the car. She started screaming, and kicking his back. But her screams werent loud enough as her throat was still healing. Her voice was just simply really hoarse.

At the car he threw her in the back, calling out for Maddox, holding her down. "Shh..just rest for a bit love" he said when Maddox arrived with a syringe. Klaus took it over and quickly jabbed it in the young girl her neck, sedating her.

The girl her struggles stopped, and her eyes became heavy as darkness swallowed her vision.

Klaus smirked as he looked at the unconcious body of the healer in the back of the car. ''We have big plans ahead of us....''

I so hate this chapter, BUT ANYWAYS enjoyyy bears 🤍🤍 The next chapter I will try to be at least 10.000 words because its final chapter of act 1!!
