   IT WAS THE NEXT MORNING AND
Damon stood in the kitchen baking pancakes as Stefan made some tea. They both were concerned about the tribrid.

"I say lets compell her" Damon said, arguing with Stefan who didn't want to do that at all.

"No Damon we won't keep this any longer from her. Besides she is on vervain" Stefan said, pouring tea in a cup.

"Fine we won't compell her. And since we are talking about her, is our sunshine awake yet?" 

"No, but I will wake her up I also called Elena to come here." Stefan said, walking to the sparebedroom.

He knocked on the door and then decided to walk in. "Goodmorning Leigh" he said, going towards the bed where Faith still laid asleep.

Stefan called her Leigh aka by her middlename since he thought it was cute. Long story short Stefan and Damon saw Faith as a little sister. And she saw them as big brothers.

As Faith didn't wake up, Stefan raised his hand about to nudge her shoulder. Without suspecting it Faith grabbed his arm, twisted it and stabbed him with a knife she kept under her pillow.

"Leigh, its me!! Its Stefan!" he called out holding his arm and ripping the knife out.

Hearing her middle name she looked at him, her vision getting clearer. "Stefan? Oh my God I am so sorry!"

"Its okay. Next time I wont sneak up on you" he said, mentally noting it.

"Anyways I wanted to wake you up for breakfast" he continued.

"Oh okay. I will be right there" Faith replied, getting out of bed.

She went to the bathroom cleaning the blood from Stefan off the knife.

After changing into her outfit for the day she went downstairs full of questions. What could vampires do? Why did they keep it from her? It was all new for her.

Damon had set the table and sat with Stefan ready to eat.

"Finally that took long" Damon commented, earning a glare of Faith as she sat on a chair.

Faith smiled at the pancakes and the cup of tea standing at the table. It was her favourite breakfast.

"So...what do I need to know about vampires? Since you know...I now know what you two are" Faith said as she picked a tea flavour.

Stefan looked at her. She didn't seem frightened or shocked at all. He watched how she made her tea and cut a piece of pancake.

"Well we can run really fast. We heal, and we are immortal" Damon responded while eating his pancake.

"And we can compell people, but if a human wears vervain or drinks vervain we can't" Stefan filled in.

Faith nodded, processing the information. "The drink you bought me every day Stefan...did y-"

"Yes, I put vervain in it. We didnt want vampires to compell you. We wanted you to be safe" He said before Faith could finish her sentence.

After filling her in about everything. Aka about vampires and witches, they heard a knock on the frontdoor.

"That must be your girlfriend Stef" Damon said as he sped to the frontdoor while Stefan did the dishes.

''Hello, Elena.'' Damon said after he opened the door.

''Is Stefan here? He called. He said it was important.'' Elena said, ignoring Damon his presence.

''Right this way.'' he responded, opening the door more.

She entered the house and Stefan returned from the kitchen.

''Hey'' Stefan said.

''What is this about?'' Elena asked.

Unexpected Rose arrived. Faith stood now next to Elena confused. 'Why the hell is she here' Faith thought a bit annoyed.

''You..'' Elena said, looking at Rose. 

Stefan pointed to the livingroom and Faith and Elena sat on the couch, looking at Rose, waiting for an explanation. Stefan seemed to know about Rose getting here so maube they got now finally some answers. Elena layed a hand on her friend her shoulder as sort of comfort which she appreciated.

''Okay, you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years and I don't know what's true and what's not true. It's the problem with all this vampire crap but Klaus, I know he's real.'' Rose said, looking at them.

''Who is he?'' Elena asked her.

''He's one of the originals, he's a legend.'' Damon replied instead. 

''From the first generation of vampires.'' Stefan also filled in.

''Like Elijah?'' Faith asked, now raising her eyebrows. If he was the first vampire why was he then so easily killed?

Rose shook her head. ''No. Elijah was the Easter bunny compared to Klaus. He's a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal.'' she said, looking at Faith who now got a bit scared at hearing what danger was awaiting them.

''Klaus is known to be the oldest.'' Stefan then said.

''Okay, so you're saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?'' Elena said, Faith hearing the tremble in her voice.

''Yes.'' Rose replied.

''No.'' Stefan then said instead.

''What they're saying is, I mean if what she's saying is true..."

"Which it is" Rose said.

"And you're not saying it so I don't kill you." Damon replied, looking at her.

"Which I'm not." she said looking at him too.

"Then we're looking at a solid maybe." Damon then said looking at Faith and Elena.

Faith looked at Damon like he was an idiot. Was this 'maybe' meant to be comforting?

"Look, Elijah's dead, right? So no one else even knows that you exist." Stefan said to Elena.

"Uhm...if I had to be honest...it doesnt seem like killing an original is so easy...so we dont know for sure..." Faith then pointed out, being honest about what she feeling and Rose nodded, agreeing with her.

"That's not helping. And he is 100% dead" Damon said, glaring at Faith who now simply rolled her eyes.

"Look, I've never even met anyone who's laid eyes on him. I mean, we're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction. We don't know if he's real. For all we know he could just be some sort of stupid bed time story." Stefan said, looking at them.

"He's real and he doesn't give up. If he wants something, he gets it. If you're not afraid of Klaus, then you're an idiot." Rose pointed out, Faith nodding.

"Alright, we're shaking. You made your point." Damon said.

Elena and Faith then stood up walking to the frontdoor.

"Where are you two going?" Stefan asked them. 

"School. We are late." Faith said.

"Let me grab my stuff, I'll go with you two."

"It's okay, I know where it is." Elena said, leaving and as Faith also tried to leave, Stefan rested a hand on her shoulder at which she looked at him, annoyed but also finding her heart beating a bit faster. Like she enjoyed that movement.

"She's in denial." Damon said to Rose, talking about Elena.

"Shut up, Damon." Faith said and then turned to Stefan again.

"Im still gonna walk with you Leigh."

"But-" Faith tried to argue. She didn't like to be treated as a child at all. And this felt like that.

"No buts. Your new to the supernatural world." Damon said, agreeing with Stefan.

"...Fine..."

Stefan and Damon smiled at that, and Stefan then grabbed his stuff so they could go to school.

They walked to school as they also talked now about the events last night.

"You look pretty calm surprisingly" Stefan said, glancing at her and back at the road.

"Why wouldn't I be?" the tribrid asked confused.

"Well you are new to the supernaturals....it's normal that you get scared and all"

"Scared? Please I been through worse" she laughed.

Stefan chuckled too. "Well alright. So what was then more terrifying?"

"My trainor"

"Your trainor?"

"Hmm.."

"How was he scarier?" he asked as he stopped now walking. Concern growing now.

"Forget it. It was a joke" she lied with a small smile. Lie one

"I am always here for you. If someone hurt you or is hurting you please tell me"

"Yeah I know..thank you it means a lot to me. And don't worry nobody hurt me or is hurting me alright" she said with a forced smile. Lie 2

Stefan didn't believe it at all, but he decided to not push it and continued now to walk to school with her.

LATER AS THEY BOTH FINISHED finished school and Stefan told her Elena left to go home as she was appearently sick. Faith knew that as Elena told her herself, but she knew immediately Elena was lying, though she acted like she believed her.

Faith now stayed after school with Damon as Stefan was going to check on her. 'He will be surprised when he sees she isn't home' the healer thought as she watched Stefan leave. Faith texted Skylar, Athena and Holly while she sat at a coffeeshop. 

CHAOSGANG

Athena: Skylar dreamed about me naked

Skylar: you had to tell them? You dream about me naked while you are sitting on me

Holly: Wow you 2 have wild dreams

Faith: To be honest I knew already. Athena is super dirtyminded like realllyyy

Athena: FAITH STOP ITS NOT TRUE

Skylar: Thena I love you- but it's true

Holly: 😹😹

Faith: HA

Athena: You all are mean😪

Skylar: Very very mean yeah

Faith now looked up from her phone at Slater, Damon and Rose talking.

"And you're sure Elijah's dead?" Slater said to them.

"No we are not s-"

"Beyond dead." Damon replied, glaring at Faith who shrugged and continued texting her friendgroup.

"Trevor was a good man; he helped me with my dissertation on sexual deviance in the Baroque period. I was schooling for my Psych PhD." Slater said.

"Slater's been in college since '74." Rose filled in.

"When I was turned. I have 18 degrees, 3 master's and 4 PhDs."

"The point?" Damon said, annoyed.

"Exactly, I mean, what is the point? What should I be doing with my eternity? If you have an answer, please enlighten me."

"We need your help. If someone wanted to get in touch with Klaus, how would you hook him up?" Rose said, looking at him.

As they kept talking, Faith zoned out as she got a strange feeling. She slowly put her phone down and as she did that she heard glass breaking and she fell onto the ground. People were screaming and Damon was protecting Rose as she was burning because of the sunlight which now could get inside.

Faith stood up, looking at the window which was destroyed and shook her head, making small pieces glass fall out her hair. As she looked up, her heart stopped for a moment. There he stood outside. Elijah Mikaelson....looking straight into her eyes.

"Faith we need to go now!" Damon, yelled at Faith, who covered Rose with a jacket and led her outside back to the car in the garage.

"Coming!" Faith yelled and she turned back around, but Elijah was gone.

Ofcourse he could have sped away..but maybe she was hallucinating. They all did say he was dead..even though her heart said it wasnt true.

"Okay, stay inside and dont let anyone in, tommorow me or Stefan will get you again" Damon said as he dropped Faith off her at her place.

"Yeah, I know...I get it."

"Hey! I mean it" Damon, said looking at her.

"I promise...I wont let anyone in okay..." she said, looking at him. That made him believe her and with that he drove off after she was inside.

Faith looked in her livingroom and smiled. Athena, Skylar and Holly looked at her smiling back.

"So you sure you wanna stay here?" Holly asked, looking at her girlfriend.

Faith sighted. "Yes Im sure. I have a feeling I have too...and my feeling has it always right"

"Then we all stay" Athena said immediately not letting a friend stay alone.

As they all agreed, they envolved into a grouphug, Faith wondering why her feeling told her to stay...
