The Illusionist has suffered many, many injuries and I'll be explaining a few at a time.

This specifically shows some injuries Greed, the god of wealth has inflicted on him.

In a fight, Greed tore off strands of Pride's (The Illusionist's) hair. Look at the picture on top and you can see one side is unevenly shorter. He uses the torn off hair as lacing for his wallet.

Greed had his followers cut off Pride's hands in an attempt to capture him in a weakened and vulnerable state. Greed tied the severed hands in a rope and uses the rope as a belt so the hands hung from him. Those severed hands are like trophies to him like the hair he tore off.
