Korean Mythology

Korean mythology covers both written and oral myths from different regions of Korea. While it has been introduced many times to K-Dramas like Tale of the Nine-tailed, Goblin, Gumiho and etc., this story will explore some mythical creatures, gods, and goddesses, giving you an idea about the said myth. Though they have many versions in the actual myth, this story will cover those that are fitting to the plot.

Starting, of course, from the history of how the world was created according to the Korean myth. The god Mireuk cursed the world Seokga would soon lead after falling from the latter's trickery. As Seokga rules the world, the continuous cycle of life and death shaped life until today.

In this story, we are not going to follow Mireuk's, but Seokga's son, a demigod who is solely created for the purpose of this series.

DISCLAIMER: This novel is inspired by Korean Mythology only. Neither the characters, locations, nor lore, are 100% accurate from the myth. New mythical creatures made solely for this series, particularly in this story, are also introduced.

Information about the mythology are available on the internet in the form of text and videos. So if you wish to dig more of the myth, feel free to do so.
